After being quoted a fair range of $1,500-$2,000, the "verdict" came back at a laughable $500 for a low-mileage Ninja 300, citing wear-and-tear costs that didn't come close to justifying a $1,500 drop. When I chose to walk away from the deal and mentioned that my time had been wasted, I was met with shocking behavior from the General Manager, Brian Ruiterman. Instead of trying to save the deal or de-escalate, Brian made a dismissive hand gesture and told me, "BYE, BYE." To be treated with such arrogance by a GM is unacceptable. Dustin actually came out to apologize for his manager's behavior, which says a lot about the culture Brian is fostering. I would have likely bought the bike outright without the trade-in if the management hadn't been so disrespectful. I will be reaching out to corporate and Gina Marra. If this is how the leadership treats customers, go elsewhere.

The issue is when I had a warranty issue with my new battery and Randy says no problem. But he was having internal problems, he had to layoff his staff and he was more or less temporary closed until he restructured his affairs. when I called and he told me to call and make an appointment . I called two times , to no avail. I stopped by , around noon when his voice mail states he doesn't usually get in until noon, again to no avail. i called the 3rd and final day today after approximately 2.5 months trying to get my battery replaced. So , for all you potential future customers, if you can have communication with Randy , great, but do your homework. take it for what it's worth. I wish him well and hopes he can get back on track because when all running well , service is very good. But something is going on. just a return phone would have helped. Bike got into the shop January 14th, just got the bike back August 18th. If you want your work done in a timely manner don't go to this shop. Also took my S&S crankshaft 3 months to show up when it wasn't on back and called S&S directly and confirmed that. They also had 3 different service advisors in that time span. Got hit with every excuse in the book as to why my parts weren't showing up in a timely manner and ordered half of them myself because of this. Their service advisor is an idiot, was told the bike would done between 11-12 sat around for 45 mins before it was actually finished. They also forgot to order half of my parts for the rebuild, called me n told me that instead of just ordering the parts and biting the bullet on their own mess up. Dyno numbers were also disappointing. Going to have to take it somewhere else for a retune, and spend more money. Don't waste your time or money here.

Although many tire shops came up in my search, one company stood out to me -- that wasn't even a dedicated tire shop. It was Wilhelm Automotive. The reason they stood out to me was because of the glowing reviews from customers, like myself, who have limited knowledge surrounding auto-repair needs... or knowing who to trust! (Especially for those of us who tend to feel intimidated by auto-repair shops that have been dishonest, are all about 'up-selling' services & parts you don't actually need and/or those who are 'shady' at best. I was also surprised to see an auto repair shop that came up on a tire shop search. But right at the top of their reviews, there was a review surrounding Wilhelm providing excellent service that involved tires/tire fixes and replacement. After filling the tire up with air, I noticed a nail with a slow leak, and since they were so close, I drove out their way. I just have to say that deciding to go to Wilhelm Automotive when I was having an issue with my tire was the best decision I could have ever made. Not only did they fix my flat tire, they also looked at and fixed another tire that I had been having issues with. No shop in Los Angeles would fix it for me, insisting that I needed to purchase a brand new tire (which actually meant buying two new tires because of the all-wheel drive situation on my 2015 Subaru Outback). Even from the exact tire shop that I had originally ~ and recently~ bought 4 brand new tires from!!! Wilhelm Automotive fixed both tires no problem and with none of the issues I was repeatedly told there would be, by multiple shops I had asked to. (I was a bit shocked, and when I asked how they ended up fixing it... with a patch or plug? I was told that they did a combination of both to ensure that the tire is solidly and permanently fixed, is completely safe and 'as good as new')!! They also had my passenger side windshield wiper blade in stock (that I had asked about as well) and replaced it for me after fixing my tires. When I went up to the counter to pay my bill after my car was brought out for me (only 40 mins later, I was told 'you're good to go! we're good! just please consider using us for any other car repairs that might come up')! I could t believe it!! I was in total shock... they wouldn't even let me pay for the wiper blade and I pretty much had to force them to, at very least, take a tip from me!!! I was ~delightfully~ in shock the rest of the day. I have made my folks (& their friends & neighbors) promise me to ONLY go to Wilhelm Auto from here on out!! I'm sorry to report that this review is {finally} here ~ so long after-the-fact, but life as a hard-working single Mom has a way of coming in between such things. They told me they could not find any issues so they did a drain and recharge with dye. $600 I asked for a copy of the machine report breaking down amount removed amount put in. I was told they would email it they never did. After picking it up, I drove straight home and parked it. Today, I opened my center console and discovered that my coin holder was missing. This wasn't something loose that could have accidentally fallen out or been misplaced. It was mounted into the center console and required effort to pry out and remove. It was taken. I contacted the shop and spoke with Eric. He told me he checked the technician's toolbox and said it wasn't there, suggesting that I must have misplaced it. That explanation simply doesn't make sense given how securely the holder was installed. What's most concerning is that if someone felt comfortable removing and taking something as minor as a coin holder full of change, it raises serious questions about what else could potentially be happening with customers' vehicles and belongings. Eric suggested I file a police report and stated that their employees are "too busy to steal." I'm not looking to get anyone into legal trouble over a coin holder, but I do expect honesty, accountability, and respect for customers' property. This experience has completely broken my trust in this shop. I will not be returning for future repairs or service, and now I'm left questioning whether the work performed on vehicles is even being done properly especially since I never got the email. To current and future customers: I strongly recommend removing all personal belongings from your vehicle before bringing it here. Update June 5th it's been over two weeks since speaking with a district manager. He was able to pull up and send me the work that was done to my vehicle. I was over charged for the service "performed" he then told me I would receive a refund for the overcharge of service. I reached out to customer service about it then Nick Lee called again informing me they would refund me the over charge in another way but still nothing yet. Everywhere else I've gone, I've been charged ridiculous hourly rates while the mechanics tried to figure out what they were doing. These guys were completely different. They were professional, knew exactly what needed to be fixed, and completed the work correctly the same day. They're also very reasonably priced. I was verbally told that metal shavings were present inside the rear differential and that the entire differential assembly needed replacement. I was quoted approximately $3,600 for the repair. When I requested written clarification regarding how this diagnosis was made, including whether the differential was drained or opened, the condition of the fluid, whether photos were taken, and what specific testing procedures were used, no documentation was provided to support the claim. I then obtained a second opinion from another licensed mechanic. The vehicle was properly lifted, road tested, and inspected, and the rear differential was not identified as the source of the issue. The concern was resolved without replacing the differential. My mechanic also contacted this shop directly to ask about the basis for their diagnosis and did not receive any clear explanation. It is not possible to visually confirm internal metal shavings inside a sealed differential without draining the fluid or opening the case. No such procedure was documented on my repair order. Based on my experience, this did not feel like a transparent or customer focused shop. I strongly encourage customers to request written proof and seek a second opinion before authorizing major repairs.
