This required coordination with the town to locate and turn off the water at the street. Ralph took care of everything. On the day of the service, the town was there, turned off the water and within 30 minutes Ralph and the town water department employee had two new valves, the new water meter installed, and the water back on. Ralph told me that he's only doing small repairs like this now, so he can respond quickly to his customers. The problem was not resolved, and when I called back to inform the plumber that the washing machine was still leaking, I was told to call an appliance tech because they don't repair washing machines. The plumber refused to refund me my money after I had explained that the leak had not been fixed, and the job was not resolved.
