He walked me through how to select the right settings and let me know he was around if I needed anything else, he'd be more than happy to help. This place has a good atmosphere. Couch seating, massage chairs and a game room for kids. Machines can be paid for with quarters or on a pay app. Makes it so convenient. Thank you Richard for all your help! I truly appreciate it.

But what was awkward was they turned off the lights where I was sitting to wait for my dryer only. Almost to say they are closed already when the sign / Yelp page states the close at 10:00pm. The prices are not cheap either so to charge this high, be rude/awkward about it and the best part is you have homeless people pressing you for change and watching you. This will be the last time I come here. Hope the new ownership gets this figured out/ addressed.

Today, while doing my laundry, I witnessed the Hispanic employee on duty treat an elderly Black man with the same level of suspicion and disrespect he has shown me for months. He stares constantly and sometimes follows me around; it feels like harassment and sends a clear message of 'What are you doing here?' I grew up in this neighborhood and have come here since I was a baby with my mother. I am leaving five stars only out of respect for the business's history and my years of patronage, but this behavior is unacceptable. Management, please speak to your staff. Everyone should feel welcome here, regardless of their race.

Also, many of the washers have mold in the area where you put the detergent. Ok....believe it or not that we can deal with. However, over the last few weeks, the owner has become a thief as well. Changed the programming on the dryers from 10 to 9 to 8 minutes for $0.25.....well, ok. But today, dryers changed to only 6 minutes of drying for $0.25. Seriously?!?!??! As much as we like to support local businesses, it it is time to look for an alternative to this location. Very disappointed.

Management should address the poor customer service and ensure employees follow the posted business hours. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Based on publicly listed information, Coin OP Laundry Lavanderia in La Mirada⁠ advertises hours until 10:00 PM daily.
