On the left side of the window though, it reads Laser Aesthetics Studio. I decided to enter. Inside, there are women getting their hair done. Expect to be given weird looks as a newcomer. But don't worry, you're not there for them ;) I asked for Zhanna and they had me wait towards the back. Although not your typical medspa and space is limited, the area is clean and she sanitizes your glasses with an alcohol pad before service. (Which should be done at all laser places. If it isn't, that's a clear indication that you should LEAVE) Zhanna is very thorough and doesn't rush your session. I have about four more sessions to go and I'm looking forward to the results!

Because Park Slope was more convenient, I transferred my treatments there, but unfortunately my experience changed significantly. Appointments frequently did not start on time, and the level of care and professionalism was inconsistent. During one visit, my treatment felt rushed and incomplete, and my concerns afterward were not handled well. The most disappointing experience occurred when my appointment was canceled. I received only a phone call the afternoon before my appointment while I was driving with my children, and I genuinely believed it was a confirmation call. I never received an email or text message notifying me that my appointment had been canceled. I had completed all the required preparation and arrived, only to be told it had been canceled. I remained polite and simply asked to be accommodated at another location before leaving for vacation. Instead, I was later informed that I was permanently banned from all LaserAway locations. Despite explaining that this was an honest misunderstanding and asking them to review the call, I was dismissed without any effort to resolve the situation. I spent thousands of dollars on a treatment package that I was unable to complete, making much of my investment ineffective. They use Cynosure laser and this has been very effictive for my skin. Getting laser was the best investment since I really don't ever have to worry about shaving anymore. Lies and says she is sick when she isn't or doesn't want to see a client. Or blames the receptionist for her mistake. Have heard a lot of stories of "sensitive" receptionists because she makes them cry. She shouldn't be allowed to run a business I wouldn't trust her to do anything on me.

She is not at all pushy or salesy the way the other spas are. Their prices are unbelievable yet nothing is sacrificed in terms of the service and results you receive. The laser genesis treatment I did is highly effective. My skin is plump, clearer and I can see how the collagen is starting to build. The space itself is calming and serene. Once you walk in, you feel utterly relaxed. Overall,I highly recommend this spa!!
