She also does not double dip. And (unlike other establishments I've been to) Osiani doesn't rush. Instead, she is meticulous and mindful of your sensitive areas. She made sure I was comfortable and that I was thoroughly smooth and clean after my wax. Moreover, as a person of East Asian descent, my skin scars plainly and easily. Osiani is professionally aware of this and is mindful of the effects of waxing on my skin. For brows, when I asked, Osiani explained the shape she imagined for me and why, according to my facial shape and features, she felt this would be best for me. I appreciated her thought process, because I have sometimes felt that other places just sort of gave me the same brows as every other customer without regard to how it would look on me. Osiani dissipated these worries, and I love my brows now. The location is also super convenient--a two minute walk from the F and M trains. Definitely a happy customer!

Never knew that hardwax would be the best option out there to get Brazilian or Bikini. Once you try this place, I doubt you would want to go back to regular waxing. So I don't care if J Amie day spa relocates to even the moon I'll somehow follow them to continue my waxes with them. They work fast and make sure they get even the stubborns hairs. The place is cozy nice and clean. I love the staff they are all awesome. The prices are great compared to other big name companies. I recommend you use cash or Zelle they don't use credit cards. I've only done the waxing with them. I eventually will try their skin treatments and will re-review them. I love Working with Angela and Olga thank you for always making my waxes so smooth.

I heard people talking in the back and I waited up front cause I wasn't sure if they were under staffed so gave it some time (maybe 5-10 minutes). No one came out and there wasn't a bell or anything to ring to get attention. Didn't really want to scream "hello?" In a spa. Idk, might give it another chance, but also I know other places that are more consistent.

She also offers a package deal of buy 6 get the 7th free which saves you a bunch. I saw a comment about cleanliness?!? While Madeleine's small space is not like walking into a bright shiny day spa, her location and equipment/space is always clean.
