Horrible business. Used this company for the 2nd and last time. Again, I got charged for Excessive Overage Fee. Got hit with extra charge for exceeding weight limits (they include only $1,000 lbs of weight which is not much at all) and for extra days. I received a reminder txt for dumpster pickup 1 week "after" I should have received the txt. Got charged 5 extra days @ $24 / day for the dumpster just sitting there. This is definitely not a "affordable" company. Better go somewhere else next time. read more

They picked up my dumpster and said I was over by 2000lbs yet my brother in law who is a contractor uses a different company, fills the dumpsters full of blocks and said they don't ever come close to the weight limit. Somehow our junky patio furniture and odds&ends went over by 2000lbs and $259. Scammers! read more

This is a third-party company. These are not their dumpsters. They have to schedule with a real dumpster company in order to get the dumpster to your location. I do not recommend you wasting your time going through a third-party when you can call directly to a dumpster company and they will give you a lower quote. Thank you. read more

I am a 65 year old woman so I needed time to move items by myself. At the time of the rental all I was told was the stuff in the dumpster could not go over the top so it could be covered. What they DID NOT tell me that my rental only cover 2,000 pounds. I have rented dumpsters before and NEVER had the weight be an issue. The dumpster was huge so one would think even if I was informed that the weight would not be an issue. I only threw away junk the heaviest thing was a single full size mattress that I (a sixty five year old senior citizen ) carried by myself. This rental cost me over $400. Yesterday I received an Email stating I exceed the weight limit by 7800 lbs and have to pay an addition $442. I was so mad! Then I looked in my email for the contract but they sent one until today stating the rules. The are NOT AFFORDABLE it is costing more the bill came3.5 month later. I couild have hired the junk removal people. I feel so taken advantage of I feel I was scammed They didn't tell me that on top of the rental of dumpster that I had to pay for the content inside. I figured you fill the dumpster they p[ick it up. I did not have heavy materials like concrete construction debris just junk around the house and my sisters mattress . This "company" is the worst choice. The custiomer is never right, the attitude, the lies and the "extra charges" are a rip off. They delivered the wrong size (smaller) and wanted to charge $250 if I want to cancell my rental. They also were late to drop the container and late to pick it up. If you give them your credit card they will charge you whatever they want after they remove their dumpster saying that exceed the weight and of course is their word against yours. The $199 rental ended up being almost $600! Do yourself a favor and dont make bsuiness with these people. Read the other reviews and you will get the idea. This is NOT a good company. Avoid them. Do not use them. We contacted them and requested a dumpster. Explained exactly where the address was. Told them it was to be put on a driveway of a condo. They assured us it would not be a problem. We gave them the address. The guy that went to deliver the dumpster went there and decided he could not put it there, even though other companies HAD put dumpsters in the same driveway. They kept $250 of a $550 job because the driver decided he could not put it there. They should have told us before hand that since they had the address and could see it was a driveway. I rented a dumpster for my business called them told them it was ready to be picked up 2 weeks later I called back and asked why it wasn't picked up yet they said they forgot totally, and that their trucks were broke down... meanwhile the neighbors around this vacant house strated throwing their trash in also. So when they finally picked it up, it was supposedly over by 2000 lbs! So they just changed my card for the additional fees! Totally unreliable with their promised delivery/take away days. I emailed them to cancel the same afternoon. The next morning I was informed they would be charging me $75.00 cancellations fee. Back in July. I rented a dumpster. Dumpster was delivered on time. This is the 2nd time I used this company. I intended on using the dumpster for a small demo a half wall.. and then for yard clean up and a small cheap couch. Due to a family emergency we didnt demo the wall but put the couch and some yard trash inside the dumpster. The day of pick up I went and secured the latch on the dumpster. It was approximately ( and Im being generous) 1/2 full..about the length and height of the couch. Was not even close to.the top and the whole back was empty. About 2 weeks after pick up they withdrew an additional $575.00. Stating I was 11 tons OVER the allotted weight. There is no way I even met the allotted weight, let alone went over weight. I disputed for weeks and even with my bank. I was credited the money. Thought it was over. Last week the deposit was reversed. And they took the money back out. I contacted the dumpster company and was told it was being looked into. Got a message today from Affordable dumpster stating I need to take it up with my bank. They legit stole 575.00 from me. There has to be an error on thier part. If I owed the money Id pay it. Im not a dishonest person..its a family owned company. But something is definitely wrong. When I used them the 1st time I filled the dumpster had a reclining sectional full of metal in there.. and other heavy furniture and was under allotted weight. There is NO WAYI was over this time. Now they keep trying to charge my account for over $1200 for an overfill fee! Even though I was told the 10 yard dumpster I was supposed to get could be filled to the top with no weight limit (and again I was never made aware that what they delivered was a15 yard or that I couldn't fill past a certain amount!). They should change the name to non affordable dumpsters. I requested 10yd for household junk, no constuction material. I paid $350 and it was not full and they charged another $65 for going 1200lbs over. I dont have 2200lbs of stuff at my house. A couch, recliner and clothes really. Reliable at sticking you with a service fee of $250. Would not tell me when they were picking it up and only give a 3 day window! Definitely not affordable. They will get you with overage charges on weight. An "affordable" $350 quickly turned into $1,300 after it was dumped. If you are putting anything in there besides cardboard boxes, look somewhere else. They also delayed the project because they were a day late on delivery and did not answer the phone or return the call until the next day after numerous messages and texts. read more

I ordered a dumpster on Monday morning and it was to be delivered today (Thursday)..no dumpster..Was told the dumpster should be dropped by 1 pm. It is now 5 and no dumpster. Have left messages, but no one has returned my call. I looked up their BBB rating and it is an F. Should have done that before I signed the contract, my bad. But family owned banner with a sweet picture of a family in front of the dumpster drew me in. I have no idea when my dumpster will come as no one has the courtesy to return my calls. Anyway, I would not recommend this company based solely on their customer service and lack of communication. I have a feeling this experience is going to from bad to worse as some other reviewers say they charge extra when they go to the dump.....Pick a company that has good Yelp reviews and a good BBB rating. Update...the dumpster was delivered a day late. My trash filled it about a 1/4 of the way up the side. Nothing heavy was put in there. I put everything in black trash bags and carried each bag to the dumpster my self (I am a 67 yo woman) They picked up the dumpster a day after I called and told them it was ready. Now a week later I receive a bill saying I owed an extra $49 because the dumpster was over the weight allowance of 1000 pounds. The salesman told me the size dumpster I needed, based on my needs and filled to the the very top, would hold about a 1000 pounds. Very shady busy practice in my opinion. He obviously knew a 1000 pounds was an understatement of the dumpsters capacity. I learned a lesson..always check the BBB before hiring anyone. I called and requested a dumpster to be delivered; first mistake, the site stated low costs ($199). Should have known then, was charged $399.48. Next was told it would be delivered the following day (Wednesday). Of course the dumpster was a no show. I called the following morning (Thursday) to request a status update around 10am, was told someone would call me back with an estimated time (Lie #2). I called back again around 5:30pm, was told by the agent that there was still time for the delivery (3 hours) and ensured me it would be delivered (Lie #3). I called again Friday morning around 11am, was told it was being delivered. The dumpster arrived Friday afternoon 2 1/2 days late. We had preschedule a pickup, so one would think that they would either adjust the pickup time or discount the payment. Neither happen; they pickup the dumpster early Monday before 7am, go figures and it was practically empty a few cardboard boxes from two desks installation. I had sent an email on Sunday to see if they had adjusted the pick up time and they did not. Total rip off organization and they do not care who they cheat. read more

Original price of small dumpster was $300. Then received a charge for $175 because they said the dumpster weighed too much. My dumpster was 1/2 full and not full of anything heavy. This is an extremely expensive company for dumpster rental. read more

This place is garbage. They will lie about drop off date then be early to pick it up. They were two days late dropping off my 48hr in advanced ordered dumpster. Then when confronted they claimed I signed a contract saying no specific times but try to make it same day. They verbally agreed to three days, Saturday drop off with a Tuesday morning pick up for $299. They also said for my inconvenience they would give me extra days or give me extra weight if needed. They did neither of those luckily we were able to get it filled most of the way by the time THEY NEEDED IT BACK. I filled my dumpster with mostly clothes and house hold rummage. Two weeks later I got a charge on my card for $56.00 without warning saying it came to there attention that I had gone over the weight limit. Shaddy two weeks later. Shaddy no notice. Shaddy with THERE TIME. I would never not work with this company ever even if I had to pay a little more, because they will get u anyway. Horrible company, rude staff. read more
