We were able to choose a countertop for our island, but it was stored in the back and covered in plastic. Even when it was pulled out slightly, we didn't get a full, close-up view. In hindsight, I wish they had used a lift to bring it out into better lighting, like outside, so we could properly inspect it. After installation, we noticed several manufacturing imperfections that weren't visible at the time, along with a small cracked area that I didn't know about and our contractor didn't communicate during pickup. Overall, the selection and convenience were great, but I would strongly recommend thoroughly inspecting materials in proper lighting before finalizing your choice.

Karen, the designer, was happy to answer all my questions and make changes to our design throughout the process. On install day, they did arrive more towards the end of the designated arrival time but he got to work right away. He removed everything and even paint patched the removal areas, which would have not been Included with Closet by Design. Install took all day which is understandable but so so so worth it. I love it so much and I think it just adds so much more space to our closet.
