After purchasing a home built in the 70s we had a lot of updating to do including all new flooring. We choose hardwood in the entire house with the exception of tile in the bathrooms. We also replaced all the baseboards with a taller more modern look. Replacing every square inch of flooring in a home is no small task, and I'm so happy with my decision to work with Robinson's; highly recommend! Getting a quote: I started my process by getting several quotes and Robinson's was the best price for the services being offered, and the company I felt most comfortable with. From the start Matt's greeting was friendly and helpful. Never did I feel pressured or that he was giving me a sales pitch. He offered good advice and experience and really helped me figure out what would be best for my home. The process was easy utilizing both email and text messaging. Demo and installation: The time in home was 2.5 weeks long. Luis and his crew were absolutely amazing. Luis was always extremely respectful, professional, and considerate of me and my home. He didn't cut corners and treated my home as if it were his own. He always asked me for feedback and got my input on things that needed decisions. His number one priority was making sure I had good results and was a happy customer and that really showed. I feel like I have a new house and couldn't be happier with the experience. We recently had LVT installed by Robinson's flooring in a galley kitchen, small dining area, and laundry room, not a large job by most standards. We picked Robinson's because years ago they did a great job on a tiny entryway. At the showroom Landry took care of us and you couldn't find an easier or more personable person with whom to work. He spent about an hour going over options with us. The estimated price was reasonable. He felt it might take two days to complete. He had his measurement person come out that afternoon. The next day Landry came out to take samples and make sure the colors were matched correctly. He ordered the material and set up an installation date when he got confirmations of delivery dates. The installation crew came in about 10:00 Friday morning, stayed until a little after 6 pm and finished the job. In one day! The crew was great, both professional and friendly. You couldn't ask for nicer people. (Just like they were the many years ago on our tiny entry). When they finished it looked beautiful! On Sunday morning we had a minor problem with one of the baseboards near the dishwasher. On Monday morning I called in about the problem and Landry said he'd call his installer. An hour later he called back and said the crew boss (also a great guy) would be out to fix it in the afternoon. He arrived just after 12 and the whole thing was done before 1 pm. Now if that isn't great service I don't know what is? So I called in, told him how pleased I was and that I wanted to pay off the remainder. Surprise after surprise, the remaining total was about $150 LESS than the original quote. It doesn't get better than that! I wouldn't go anywhere else for flooring. They are a local company and in my opinion, the best. I'm an old retired guy who, as CEO, have hired lots of contractors in my former career. I've never seen better! After talking with the owner of Robinson's Interior, I finally got a call back and they were finally able to come out and finish the job. They did acknowledge that there were miscommunications with where the baseboards were to be placed and that they dropped the ball when I did not get a response in a timely manner. I believe what happened with me is a rare case for this company and I hope that their customers don't have to notify the big boss just to complete a project. Used Robinson's for our installation of LVP flooring in the kitchen and washroom area. From the initial meeting with Matt through the final minor changes needed in the door thresholds, the service and quality were outstanding. Matt allowed us to view samples in the showroom as well as take some home for viewing. He gave us ideas but no pressure. Scheduling was easy and the installation by Pete and Adrian was excellent. Both installers were on time, friendly and each day cleaned up any work areas. Floor looks great. Very good overall experience. Was the only carpet place where someone approached me and asked if they could help me. The showroom was very clean, well-lit and organized. Landry and the others in the showroom were friendly. No high pressure or attempts to up sell talk me into something I did not want (this happened at another carpet place). The estimator came out to my house in a couple days to measure the room and closet. He was friendly and answered questions. He even helped me pull up the edges of the old carpet so that I could paint the bottom of the baseboards. The carpet I ordered arrived in just a few days. The installer, Guillermo, was on time, professional, and friendly. He cleaned up, and vacuumed the carpet when he completed the job. We used Robinson's flooring for our laminate, carpet, and tile. They had to order the tile from another company but they took care of everything from the prep, installation, clean-up, etc. Rob Santos was our sales person and he was very professional and helpful through everything. He was always available for our questions and even made the effort to come out and review the work that his crew did. There were different crews for each of the different types of flooring but all of them were very professional and did a great job.
