At first, we noticed their prices seemed significantly lower than the big box store. We narrowed it down to 2 samples and had a representative come out to our home to measure. While there, he wrote up a quote for each carpet which ended up being about the same with the different incentives offered. One of quotes was a bit higher, but came with the top quality carpet and a new recommended vacuum cleaner. We chose that one. The installer did not bring the vacuum cleaner. He said we would have to visit the store to pick it up. So we called and were told that there was a minimum purchase of 500 square feet in order to get the vacuum cleaner. It makes sense, but we failed to see the fine print and so did the representative when he gave us the quote. I took my original estimate to Flooring Liquidators and the manager verified that there was indeed a 500 square foot minimum order. I then showed him the original quote which included the vacuum cleaner and he said, "We back everything that is writing." He then turned around, got my new vacuum cleaner off the shelf, made a copy of my paperwork and I was on my way. Good for you, Flooring Liquidators!!! You stand behind your word. That is rare these days and I'll certainly be back!!

We have had the complete pleasure of working with Jim Hickcox for decades. He is incredibly knowledgeable, patient beyond measure, listens, executes and stays with the job until every detail has been completed. Our most recent experience involved an out of area cabin. Our concerns included snow, large dogs and varied temperatures. He researched and provided state of the art flooring samples, explaining everything along the way while addressing all of our concerns. We selected Carpet Mill Outlet after talking to the owner, Buddy. He didn't have a big fancy store, but offered the same products as everyone else, with plenty of samples you could take home to decide which one you wanted. The kicker was the price difference. Due to his low overhead, we got the flooring we wanted at a much lower price than the other big carpet and flooring stores. In addition, if you find something you like at another store that he doesn't have a sample for (unlikely), he can order it for you. Our installed price was about the same price as other stores product only price. The flooring was installed by Jesse's Flooring, contracted by Buddy. They did an absolutely wonderful job installing the LVP plank flooring and baseboards in our house. They were very professional and courteous. Also, since we live in Clovis, we wanted to keep our business local. I'm so glad that we picked business that has been in Clovis for many years. I highly recommend this business to anyone looking for new construction or replacement flooring.
