Glad I found this company. I called and Scott was able to come the next morning to remove a bee hive that was growing in my backyard the past week. He quickly and thoroughly removed it and explained the whole process of how these bees might've came and the steps he would take to have them removed. He estimated maybe 6,000 bees - wow! I was nervous about a big fee but the name says it all - definitely affordable and did a wonderful job! Thank you Scott! read more

Thank you Mr Scott for sending Carlos out to my property today to remove a bee swarm. I noticed today as I was pulling up in my driveway a bunch of bees swarming around on my black trash can. Then I looked up at the tree and there was this swarm of bees sitting on a branch. It freaked me out so bad I was scared to get out my car. I hurried up inside and started googling and came across Scott. I called him and he had Carlos out within 1 hr. Carlos was very efficient, knowledgeable and nice and explained to me about the bee swarm, which I actually thought was hive. Learned today that there is a difference between hive and bee swarm. I will definitely recommend your service to others. God Bless Mrs. Clark read more

Let me tell you, Scott was my savior today. I walked into my backyard yesterday to spray some weeds along the side of my house, and I look up before I even get started spraying and what do I see...what I thought was a beehive with quite a few bees swarming. I immediately ran back in the house because I am allergic to bees. Hopped on yelp sent out requests to different service providers. Scott was the first to respond. I called him. He was very nice and professional and asked a few questions. He was here at 7 am the next morning. I cautiously showed him where the hive was. He told me it was hornets and not bees and it looked like there was about 50. I moseyed back in house to let him do his job. Once it was completed, he actually came to the door and told me there were about 150 hornets in the hive and saw another small one after he walked the perimeter of the house and removed that one for me as well. He was extremely professional and unphased which astounds me. His quote was less than some of the others that had responded on yelp. I appreciate the expeditious response and being here the very next day. He is highly recommended. Hopefully I will not need this type of service again lol, but if I do need to hive removal service, I will definitely contact Scott! read more

No BS!!!! This is probably the best company that I've seen!!! The people are amazing, knowledgeable, and just honest. Thank you again for the work and the care... read more

We called Scott for a bee problem on a second story roof. Scott gave us a quote over the phone and Anthony and Carlos came out the same day. They were clean and professional and explained the entire process. It involved taking out part of the roof, removing the hives, treating the area and putting the roof back together. The price quoted on the phone was reasonable and I thought it would be much more since the problem was worse than we thought. But the price remained the same. They will relocate the bees to a nearby apiary rather than destroying them--which was very important to us. These guys are great and are on speed dial if we have more bee problems! read more

Scott was great! We had a birthday party coming on a Sunday afternoon, but noticed the B colony Sunday morning. Scott promptly answered his phone and gave me the best advice he could for Sunday and then came Monday morning at 7 AM. We'll definitely be using them again. Thank you so much for the great work, and fast response! read more

The owner Scott refuses to apologize for his behavior in any way if you read his response. Not only that, he's chosen gaslighting rather than admit he made a mistake. read more

We thought the bees were originally inside of our walls but they found out that they were actually outside ontop of our roof near the chimney i appreciate them alot read more

We had what we believed to be the start of a hive. Called Affordable Bee Services who came out the next morning. They arrived promptly and removed a hive much larger than we expected. They captured the Queen and removed the hive saving the bees and honeycomb to relocate them. Repairs the stucco when they were done. I'm so pleased with their work, service and the fact that my home isn't damaged as a result of the removal. Would definitely recommend. read more

This Sunday morning, my daughter discovered a beehive on a tree next to one of my horse stalls. The hive was approximately six inches wide and two feet long. It formed overnight. Scott responded through Yelp within 10 minutes of my request. Within the hour his father Ron came out and safely removed the bees. Ron was professional, educated my husband and I on bees, and overall great man. We will definitely use Affordable Bee Services again and highly recommend them. FYI..I called a few places and some were not able to respond for five plus hours and one major company does not work on Sundays. So do not waste your time on the other companies. Call Affordable Bee Services. There prices are very competitive. read more

Please disregard this rating because we did not use their service. We had good communication with them during our search and believe they could have done a good job. Our problem was that they were extremely busy and could not respond, even to give us an estimate, for an additional two weeks. They did give us a referral to Bee Wranglers in case that company could serve us sooner, which turned out to be the case. read more

Joe Vandehey, Chardonnay Hills "Affordable Bee Services" out of Riverside today removed and saved approximately 40-50,000 Honey Bee's from my home and recovered 150lbs of honey that he doesn't re-sell but uses to feed his existing Bee farms. He recovers comb's not used for Honey but for infant baby bee's and installs wax combs in wooden frames for transfer to his honey bee farm (he made 14 of the frames in the photo from what was in my roof. The house is a rental home that I will be moving back into on May 28th so I had no idea there was this large of a nest in my attic until last Friday when I visited the house. It's estimated that the hive has been there for 8-12 months. He charged me $800 to include going in through my roof on the 2nd story, cleaning everything up, prevention methods of any further hive in the same location, saving over 90% of bee's (which is also one of the photo's) and left my roof in better shape then it was when he got there. AA Bee Keepers wanted $2,500.00 for the same job. The Job took almost 4 hours to complete. He showed up a week after being contacted at 7:00AM this morning as promised and finished the job at 11:30PM. It was amazing to see Scott work. You can reach Scott at 951-330-1107. read more

Scott and Dad are great at what they do. Their care for bees first is evident when you work with them.

Amazing! There are 3 things I look for in a business. Price, knowledge and workmanship. This one hits all 3 perfectly. Scott is very dedicated to his work and care for the bees. I would definitely refer him to anyone with a bee problem. I spoke to a couple other bee removers, no one compared to Affordable Bees! read more

I was so glad to have the bees relocated instead of killed! I highly recommend this company!!! read more

Thank you Scott and Carlos! We are new home owners who had no idea we had bees in the wall until a plumber tried to complete some work. We had the house tented prior to moving in and unfortunately that left a huge hive in the wall. The work did not look pleasant but Scott was professional and let us know what needed to happen. Scott's quote was reasonable and he was able to do the work sooner rather than later. Due to his findings (honey and honeycomb everywhere) the cost went up a bit but nothing crazy and still very affordable. He let me know prior to completing the work which I appreciated. Thank you Affordable Bee Services! read more

This service is awesome! Five Stars plus. Fascinating to watch the process of locating the hive, the Queen Bee and removing her from the hive, honeycomb removal and restoring with the hive. The representative from Affordable Bee Services knew what he was doing for sure and took 4 boxes of bees out of our wine barrel in the back yard. Now our dog and kids can go back out in the backyard without fear or harm of being stung. Scott Duncan is awesome! He handled the bees with care and confidence. Bees had recently started forming a hive inside the walls of my spa. I called a few other bee companies and got a couple quotes, both to remove the bees live and just to kill the hive. All seemed to be quality companies and all the quotes were pretty close but kinda high (in my opinion). I eventually found "Affordable Bee Services" online. The owner, Scott, returned my call immediately. He happened to be in Orange County, just a few miles away from my home. He arrived within 30 minutes in a clean, well-identified truck. He removed a large hive with care in just a couple hours capturing 90% of the bees alive - hopefully he also got the queen. He instructed me on how to seal the infected area to prevent bees from returning. Scott is calm, friendly and efficient and he knows his stuff - and he really IS affordable! I got multiple quotes for more than double his fee. Though my wife is deathly allergic to bees, we both know that bees are essential to agriculture and our world. I'd recommend Affordable Bee Service to anyone that has unwanted bee infestation and cares enough not to simply kill the swarm. If you see a hive forming, don't kill the bees, and don't get stung by higher priced companies. Call Scott. read more
