Let me tell you, Scott was my savior today. I walked into my backyard yesterday to spray some weeds along the side of my house, and I look up before I even get started spraying and what do I see...what I thought was a beehive with quite a few bees swarming. I immediately ran back in the house because I am allergic to bees. Hopped on yelp sent out requests to different service providers. Scott was the first to respond. I called him. He was very nice and professional and asked a few questions. He was here at 7 am the next morning. I cautiously showed him where the hive was. He told me it was hornets and not bees and it looked like there was about 50. I moseyed back in house to let him do his job. Once it was completed, he actually came to the door and told me there were about 150 hornets in the hive and saw another small one after he walked the perimeter of the house and removed that one for me as well. He was extremely professional and unphased which astounds me. His quote was less than some of the others that had responded on yelp. I appreciate the expeditious response and being here the very next day. He is highly recommended. We called Scott for a bee problem on a second story roof. Scott gave us a quote over the phone and Anthony and Carlos came out the same day. They were clean and professional and explained the entire process. It involved taking out part of the roof, removing the hives, treating the area and putting the roof back together. The price quoted on the phone was reasonable and I thought it would be much more since the problem was worse than we thought. But the price remained the same. They will relocate the bees to a nearby apiary rather than destroying them--which was very important to us. These guys are great and are on speed dial if we have more bee problems! read more

This Sunday morning, my daughter discovered a beehive on a tree next to one of my horse stalls. The hive was approximately six inches wide and two feet long. It formed overnight. Scott responded through Yelp within 10 minutes of my request. Within the hour his father Ron came out and safely removed the bees. Joe Vandehey, Chardonnay Hills "Affordable Bee Services" out of Riverside today removed and saved approximately 40-50,000 Honey Bee's from my home and recovered 150lbs of honey that he doesn't re-sell but uses to feed his existing Bee farms. He recovers comb's not used for Honey but for infant baby bee's and installs wax combs in wooden frames for transfer to his honey bee farm (he made 14 of the frames in the photo from what was in my roof. The house is a rental home that I will be moving back into on May 28th so I had no idea there was this large of a nest in my attic until last Friday when I visited the house. It's estimated that the hive has been there for 8-12 months. He charged me $800 to include going in through my roof on the 2nd story, cleaning everything up, prevention methods of any further hive in the same location, saving over 90% of bee's (which is also one of the photo's) and left my roof in better shape then it was when he got there. Bees had recently started forming a hive inside the walls of my spa. I called a few other bee companies and got a couple quotes, both to remove the bees live and just to kill the hive.
