Sam and Heather provide excellent service! They helped me with an ant infestation and were so professional, extremely knowledgeable, and just overall really delightful to interact with. We've lived in our house for over two years with zero pest problems. We woke up one day to a few ants in our kitchen and after several days, it was a full-blown infestation. When we couldn't resolve it ourselves, we started looking for an exterminator. The first few companies I called wanted me to sign up for a year-long maintenance plan right off the bat. Since we'd never had ants before, I wasn't comfortable agreeing to pay for several visits before they had even stepped foot in my house to evaluate the situation. Ecoskan did bird netting on about 8Kw of solar panels on our home, and they did an amazing job. They were coming into a pretty big mess. The pigeons had decided that our panels would make a great home. There was a ton of bird poop that had built up over the years and it was falling into our back yard in sheets. The price they quoted us was completely reasonable and the work they did is top notch. They were able to schedule the job within 2 weeks of giving us the quote. The job took about 3 days because there was a nest with little baby birds in it, so Ecoskan had to come back a couple of times. Once the birds vacated the property, the company was able to finish up. Their customer service is also top notch. Heather was our contact person and she was always very prompt in getting back to us when we had a question about scheduling or billing or whatever. Heather and her husband are incredibly professional, extremely knowledgeable, and really wonderful to work with. Their pigeon abatement solutions are environmentally and ethically well rounded, they use a specific type of gel that actually modifies pigeon behavior and causes no harm to the animals and the small dics are not intrusive or obvious when placed on our roof. They also added netting to the base of our solar panels to keep our feathered friends from nesting under our panels. We contracted with Ecoskan to deal with the pigeons nesting under our solar panels. The pigeons had created a pretty big mess under the panels and were creating a nuisance with daily droppings on our cars, driveway, patio, and walkways, not to mention the occasional unfertilized eggs falling off the roof and breaking on the patio, unsightly feathers collecting in our gardens., and the annoying cooing every morning. Ecoskan quoted a very reasonable price and scheduled the job within a couple of weeks of contacting them. They finished the work in about four hours, which included cleaning under the solar panels as well as the upper surfaces, installing netting on the panels to keep the birds out, and placing optional optical gel disks in various places on the roof to discourage the birds from landing on the roof in the first place. Explanations of everything were clear, and communication with Heather and Sam was always prompt. In the several days since the service was done, I haven't seen or heard any evidence of pigeons on our house. I would recommend Ecoskan to anyone with a pigeon problem at their property. read more

Heather and Sam did a fantastic job pigeon-proofing our roof. They took before and after photos of their work and OH MY let's just say you never want anyone to ever see the 'before' pics, yeesh! They cleaned and sanitized the roof including under and around the solar panels, installed exclusion wire, and placed optical gel discs to make our house look like an unappealing place for birds to land. This is the first time I've ever felt so strongly about a company that I had to write a Yelp review. Sam and Heather came out and thoroughly inspected the garage, attic crawlspace, raised foundation crawlspace, floorboards, and basically, every nook and cranny. They determined we did not have any active termites, but drew our attention to some past damage in the attic crawlspace. Sam said the determination about whether the area was structurally compromised should be made by a licensed general contractor and recommended someone they trust. In the end, they told us there was nothing for them to do and that there was no charge for the inspection. Wow, I really respect their honesty and integrity. As others have described the team of Sam and Heather are great people who will work to resolve your pest problem. In my case, I had problems with pidgeons nesting underneath my solar panel system. They cleaned the areas underneath the panels and Sam was able to get most of the pidgeons out of their nesting areas but there remained four that were utterly impossible to remove without removing the panels. Sam and heather did repair and re-mount my existing bird barrier wire-mesh screening so that no other birds could get underneath the panels. I am very satisfied with their work efforts and strongly recommend their company to anyone having proplems similar to mine. As an environmental scientist, I know too much about the harmfulness of pesticides so we don't want all chemicals sprayed around our home, our dogs, our child, and our garden and Sam worked with us to use mostly natural products derived from essential oils of plants on the severe ant infestation we had, and got results. And, yet again I applaud Sam & Heather with excellent service. Saw a few ants around my back door inside jamb, and they came out, found the "ant community housing" and managed to "evict" them! I get it, I wouldn't want to be out in the heat either, however if you're gonna inhabit my home, you are required to pay rent and utilities, or you're evicted!!! Let me make this review on more than one front. First, we live in a rural area and a raccoon broke in under our home and gave birth to 4 kits. She tore up the underneath of my home. Tore up, as in thousands of dollars worth of damage! One phone call to Sam and he came with a member of his team and extracted the babies and got them to a wild life rehabber. I love the idea that it was a no kill solution! Then, he used his local contacts in the area to help me clean up the smell, the wood damage and other damage that the raccoon had created while making her nest. From plumbers to contractors to painters. He even went to bat for me with the insurance so that they would cover things I didn't know could be covered. My house is restored and so is my sanity. The second front... I hate ants. Like, despise them. I hate other bugs too but I HATE ants. Sam comes and sprays outside only and the ants are gone for long periods of time. That is a peace of mind to me that can't be brought. We have two dogs and they can walk on the spray once it's dry. Again, safe for animals. I cannot recommend Sam enough.
