Do not go with this company. They were supposed to come out and tent my parents house. They had it all set up for when we were going to be on vacation. They never came And completed the job. They didn't call and notify them. My dad had to call them. They were not charged, but never called about the job not being completed. read more

We thought my mom had bed bugs. Called Dewey and spoke to super kind and empathetic staff. They were able to send Matt out the same day to do a NO COST inspection. He arrived promptly and treated my mom with dignity and respect. NO BED BUGS! but he was able to share feedback on pest maintenance because my mom likes ponds and lilies. With me on the phone he explained what he found and next steps. The way I and my mom were treated is enough to make Dewey my first call if/when I ever need their services again. Thank you team Dewey in Colton! read more

I've been a client of Dewey for several years, and I've had some good agents and some not so good. Just wanted to give my guy, Javier an atta-boy, he's one of the good ones. Some agents are in and out in literally 5 min. Javier goes the extra mile and is courteous and professional. Good job man. read more

They have judgmental technicians and a management that can't accommodate change requests due to having only 1 service technician in any 1 area. read more

we just had our home fumigated .. returned back home and our sliding door was wide open ( robbed ) .. not sure who to blame not happy

Bad experience with them. Please read the " Fine Print" when signing with them. Long story short I canceled my contract after my first treatment due to unfulfilled treatments for my lawn needs they continued with my 2nd treatment and forced me to pay for it. Even though I had canceled and confirmed my cancellation with 2 different people. I will not be recommending them to anyone in my community. read more

Before they provide the service you called them for, they want you to do all sorts of work to your home before they come in to spray some repellent on your property. In my option it shouldn't matter as long as I'm paying. Seems they should provide a "to do list" before they come out so you know you will be able to receive the service you called them out for. Also, the guy was not very friendly who came out. Never again. read more

We use to have a big ant problem but since I started using Dewey Pest Control my ant problem inside the house has disappeared. There is more Dewey handles, including Black Widows and other insects around the outside of the house. Daniel from Dewey is always very professional. He also takes the time to listen to my concerns. So in a nutshell I am very glad I called Dewey Pest Control. read more

I worked with Cesar Sanenz to get termite issue at my house taken care of. Cesar was very nice and reliable. He explained the entire process and made sure that the job was done efficiently. I needed to have alot of wood replaced on my patio and Cesar just went above and beyond for me. He made sure that the job was kept clean and was done correctly. I truly appreciated when he said that "He wanted to do the best job for me because he cares about his customers" read more

We were using another local pest control company, but I wasn't very happy with the service. We switched to Dewey and I could immediately see a difference in the number of insects around our house. Even after the rain, the spray is still effective. The techs have all been courteous and prompt to arrive. The receptionist was very helpful in solving an auto pay issue. I'm glad we switched to Dewey and will keep using them. read more

If you are need of help in ridding your property of unwanted pests, with either four, six, or 8 legs; ants, rats, crickets or mosquitoes, make sure that you call the expert technicians at Dewy Pest Control. This is a local company that has been in business since 1929. Danny has been servicing my property and has done a great and thorough job. He was persistent in clearing the attic of some especially unwanted squatters. Thanks, Danny, for the great job that you have done and continue to do. I highly recommend this company. They provide great service and respond to your calls, which is hard to find when you deal with major corporations. read more

As a year long customer so far we've no issues with dewey and had all our pest problems resolved. Big thank you to Daniel he is always very helpful and always very communicative to let us know when they will be out for service! read more

Be very careful of the contract you sign up for. After 10 months of service, I made the mistake of cancelling early because I wasn't noticing any difference on the property and thought I would be saving the last two months. I was charged $254 for early termination that I found out about 2 months after I thought I cancelled. They claim an email was sent back to my cancellation request but all I was told to do was send an email to cancel and it would be done. It would've only costed me $160 to complete the last two months of the crappy service. Some hustlers in that office, they got me lol. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER CUSTOMER SERVICE NEEDS TO BE RETRAINED FOR SURE. The one who came to my house harrison was sweet and explained to me that Dannen gave me the wrong information. Do not trust the sales person that goes by Charlie. He lied about my neighbor ( which he used his first name) complaining about spiders and ants inside the home. Great used car salesmen. Pathetic company that lets their sales people flat out lie to get a sale. read more

Our tech, Matt is the best. He's always professional, courteous, and helpful. We really appreciate him and the work he does! Thank you Matt!

If you are not using Dewey Pest Control, I do not understand. They have always been great for us, we have lived in several different locations and they always make it easy to Move and get service started. We are moving again, and my wife was concerned about price as she heard another service was cheaper. Come to find out, after start up cost, that companies charge, Dewey is still cheaper. And I know they are reliable. Sad thing is we will have to switch the person who comes to the house and services the house for pest. GABE will be sorely missed as he has always made sure our house was clean of bugs. And if my wife complained about ants or spiders, he would come the next day to fight the battle. Besides that, I know my dogs will miss him too, as they have grown to enjoy the time he comes. Gabe always takes time to visit with Pache and Morgan. THANKS Gabe. Next dude has big shoes to fill. read more

I'm very upset we have had service with Dewey for about a year, unfortunately we have had issues the past few months. Issue 1 switched my card on file so that we can have auto pay next month again had "late payment." Issue 2 call for service and they said they already came out July 24th which we were home ALL day swimming and hanging out, also checked my outdoor cameras and no Dewey person seen. Issue 3 NEVER got a call back when they said they'd call within 24hrs of our complaint.. Don't waste your money read more

We tried this company's services for about 2 months, and we were highly disappointed. When they come to our door they offered 100 off the initial service with bimonthly payments of 75 dollars. We quickly canceled after the two months after nothing changed. We felt the man who came to spray, while nice, didn't do a very thorough job. We have a spider problem and we have not seen any difference. In the end, we even had to repay the 100 dollars for cancelling the service, which I thought was unfair since we didn't even receive what we paid for. Feeling very disappointed and still annoyed with our pests. read more

We've been using Dewey for a few years and they have been great. Cleto is our technician, and he is very respectful & communicative - he always calls the day before and is able to give me an accurate time when I ask when he will be there. came to my rescue for a last minute rat when i was in a panic. great professionalism, good pricing. I'm impressed!

Be aware of this company, they will hold you to a year's contract whether you need them or not.

We have had this service for over 20 years, never any problem except the are constantly changing people that spray my home! We are really getting tired of this and if they do it again, we are going to start looking for another Pest Control Service! read more

Paul or Al? Someone over there did fix our billing issue, for which I am very grateful. Tyvm

A Dewey employee by the name of Charlie thought it was appropriate to ring my doorbell, despite having a sign right below my doorbell stating no soliciting. He rang my ring doorbell twice, even though it was not answered the first time. I personally wasn't home, but my sitter and baby were. I answered the ring and told him off the bat that there was a sign of no soliciting. His response "I get that, but we're going to be on your street tomorrow." He proceeded to question me on if I have insects in my home, etc. I finally told him i wasn't interested and he continued to question me, trying to get information out of me. Lastly, he asked for my name and I told him he didn't need it and to have a good day. He stood at my door a few more seconds then walked away. This kid needs to learn professionalism. I spoke with my neighbor and she said he was very pushy and insistent. I will never utilize your company and I will ensure how unprofessional and disrespectful your employees - Charlie, are. read more

I believe this has to be my first review on Yelp, as I rarely leave reviews, but I had take to the time to express our sincere thanks for Dewey Pest Control, especially our friend Alex. Since getting started with Dewey Pest Control, we've seen great results and I can be certain a lot can be attributed to Alex's professionalism and his commitment to being thorough. He's great with our boys too, as our boys are always curious to watch him at work, as well. Dewy Pest Control is an excellent service. We have had the service for many years. Every technician we have had over the years has been topnotch in knowledge, skill, courtesy, and work ethic. They've all been good people. Our current technician is Danny who has ridded the yard of persistent gophers. When I last called him after seeing a new gopher mound, he came quickly and took care the situation. We originally got the service years ago to control ants which invaded the house, and it's been a relief to have the ants gone. read more

How they have 4 stars on average is truly unbelievable and shady because the number of 1 star reviews is more accurate of the caliber of business they are. My grandmother, who's in her seventies and a widow, has had Dewey for many years, despite still dealing with roaches consistently, but she is from the old school and a loyal customer and stayed with them until she decided not to. She called MONTHS ago to cancel and dealt with a tremendously rude woman who told her that in order to simply cancel she would have to essentially draft some type of declaration and send it either in the mail or text? How does that make sense? She did send a letter and Dewey has been to her home 3 more times and is continuing to charge her because the guy will say, "well I'm already here and you've already paid, do you want me to just spray one last time" and then magically her billing cycle resumes. It's CRIMINAL!! They have to know that. It infuriates me that they think they can take advantage of her as if she is senile or passive. Horrible business read more

After using Dewey Pest Control (Ontario, CA Office) for over 12 years, I moved into a new service area handled by the Colton Office. Hoping for the same great service, I was completely let down. I started the service, having moved into an empty home, in November 2012. My initial technician was great, but he was changed out after the 2nd service. Since then, my technicians changed every couple of service cycles. The trouble really started in the summer of 2013, when ants started taking over my upstairs bathrooms, even though there wasn't any food in the affected areas. A technician was dispatched and problem appeared to be corrected. However, the following summer (this last summer), the ants reappeared upstairs; even though there were no ants downstairs. A technician was sent to my home for a mid-cycle interior service, however I was told that I could not stay in the home during the service. I was uneasy about this, as this requires me to leave a stranger in my home without any supervision; but I wanted the ants gone so I allowed the technician to service the interior unaccompanied. A couple of weeks after the interior service, I returned home on a Friday night only to find a 2" wide trail of ants in my upstairs bathroom (where the technician allegedly serviced only a couple of weeks prior). I called the office to get a technician dispatched and was sent to an answering service. While it was good to talk to a live person, they let me know that I would not hear back from anyone until the upcoming Monday. With that, I promptly ended my service agreement with Dewey. After receiving a phone call from Dewey that Monday, I was informed that they were still going to charge for the service that they "provided" in August. I reminded them that they had to come out and do an interior service shortly after the service they allegedly provided, because ants were still coming into my home. Also, based on the fact that ants still came into the same area they supposedly serviced, it's most likely the technician didn't service the interior at all. Considering that this office refuses to stand behind their quality, I cannot recommend this office to anyone. Use at your own risk. read more

Once I moved to my new home 2 years ago, I immediately called Dewey. Gabe is my technician does an amazing job. He does not take shortcuts and takes the time to move items out of the way if needed before spraying. He calls the day prior to ask about any problem areas and to let me know he will be coming. Gabe has a great personality and I look forward to chatting with him each month. I'm great full for his positive attitude. He is a great asset to the company. read more
