No one else I'd rather call to take care of bees. We've had wasps and two separate bee visits, and the team has handled each situation with ease of professionalism. If needed, they'll do light carpentry and repair work to ensure that nature's visitors stay away. read more

Wow! Thank you so much Scott & Carlos! I called Scott about my bee situation and he sent Carlos today to take care of the situation. Carlos is an excellent technician and carefully removed the bees and the hive from inside our drywall. Scott was very fair with his pricing! In fact, he was the only one who told me they could access the bees from inside my house versus outside which allows us to touch up the ceiling at our own time. Scott was very pleasant to speak with over the phone and was very fair with pricing. I called around but am so happy I decided to go with Affordable Bee Serviced. I highly recommend Scott and Carlos. read more

We noticed a bee swarm in the eave of our home and called for help. From the time I first called to the job being completely done, it was only about 3 hours--on a Saturday! Seth was knowledgeable, professional, and explained everything clearly - even showed videos of the hive to help explain. The price was very reasonable and fair for what needed to be done. What I appreciated most is that they didn't just remove the bees--they relocated them safely, which gave me peace of mind knowing the bees were handled responsibly. If you ever need bee removal, I highly recommend them! read more

These guys did amazing work for us and safely removed a bee hive that was just getting started inside the space between our roof and patio cover over our front porch. They took off part of the roof, carefully took out the bees and their queen, and patched everything back up. I called at 11:35 am, and they were at my home within the hour. Learn from my $3,000 mistake! I hired Honey Bee Joe (yes, calling them out), and the experience was terrible. They left a huge mess, did incomplete work, and when I confronted them, I got the runaround. They charged me over $3,000 for two people and a scissor lift and still didn't finish the job properly. Thankfully, I found Carlos. He came out alone with just a ladder and did the work the right way. He cleaned up all the left behind honeycomb and wax, scraped everything down, primed and sealed the holes, and even provided photos and videos of each step so I could see the progress. The best part? He charged a quarter of the price, and the job was actually done correctly. Carlos is professional, thorough, and reliable. I highly recommend him to anyone needing this type of work! read more

I can't recommend Affordable Bee Services enough! We noticed a number of bees circling around our roof in our residential home over the last few months, and reached out to the owner, Scott, for a quote for removing an in-roof hive. Due to the location of our hive, this removal would be tricky, but Scott was super communicative, and assured us that their team was not only experienced in cutting into roofs to extract the bee hives, but they also seal and repair the roof when they're done. Affordable Bee Services is also a humane company that rehomes the queen and colony, which was our preferred method of bee removal. #SaveTheBees What we thought was a hive of just a few months turned out to be a hive that must have been in the making for over TWO YEARS! The hive was extensive, and we had no idea! Carlos, our hero bee guy who came to do the extraction, kept cutting into the roof and finding more and more hive! Carlos was incredible, he was communicative through the entire bee removal, sending us updates, as well as photos and videos of the hive, as well as the repair of the roof once all the bees and honeycombs were removed--all while being relentlessly attacked by angry bees! We can't thank Afforable Bee Services enough. We are so grateful to be free of bees, and know that they were moved somewhere safe where they can thrive. I hope I won't have to call you guys up for services again , but if I do, I know you guys are the best of the best! Professional, humane, and communicative! read more

Once we noticed a bunch of bees swarming under the corner of our roof, I took pictures and videos and started calling around. Of all the people I talked to, Scott was the most thorough in his description of the work involved. I scheduled a day for removal. And on the day, his colleague Carlos came right on time. He took a look at the area from both outside and inside the home and used a thermal imaging device to confirm that the hive hadn't gone into our walls (thankful it hadn't!). Next he started work. Our hive was 5 hours of work, on our roof, in 100 degree heat, folks. During that time Carlos opened up a part of our roof, completely removed the hive, cleaned out the area, painted all of it and applied their bee repellent, repaired and resealed the roof. He also gave us some of the comb from our hive. I'd say it was worth the price. Carlos himself is a very calm, soft spoken guy. Probably the demeanor you need when handling bees. I want to mention that some bee removal services can't remove hives inside the home, probably due to the repair work involved. Another highly rated bee removal service charged to do the initial thermal imaging exam and to just put down bee repellent. The guy said it might kill off the bees, but it was a busy time and they couldn't save them all. If the hive was big, he would then remove it, and that would be an additional fee. So, all in all, Affordable Bee Services was the most straightforward in the service they offered, they did what they said they would, AND they saved the bees. Carlos placed them in a box to drive them over to one of their apiaries. I definitely recommend them. read more

Affordable Bee Services literally saved my family! We have bee allergies so having bee house guests is not ideal. When I heard the bees move into my home wall, I called and was given a next day appointment. Carlos and Seth arrived early, quickly assessed the problem and got to work. Carlos kept me aware of every single step of the process while Seth worked at removing the hive. Carlos sealed up the exterior entrance while Seth handled the thousands of bees that were removed from my home wall. We were very happy to hear that the hive would be relocated and that they would be used to pollinate crops in the upcoming months. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations. I honestly hope that I never need their service again, but if I do, I know who to call. If you are looking for a bee removal service for your home, look no further! read more

Thank you! We loved our house guests (aka the bees) while they wee here but we are glad to see them go to their new home. Carlos and Seth were great! As a homeowner, when you're dwelling gets infiltrated with unwanted pests/critters, concerns start to set in. Because bees like to create their own home within your home, this is always a major issue. When I first started seeing bees flying around my attic vent holes under my eaves, I immediately called Affordable Bee services. From the first conversation with Scott Duncan to the technician, Carlos De La Cruz, who came out and cut into my roof, they each made me feel at ease and that this job was no problem. They explained everything step-by-step and always maintained professionalism... especially with all of my questions and concerns I was asking through the process. The best part was that cost was much less than other Bee Specialists I called. I highly recommend them for your issue. Very friendly, patient, honest, and courteous staff. One afternoon, about a dozen bees suddenly appeared in my garden and were swarming over my garden hose spigot, making it impossible to use the faucet. I waited til the next morning, but they were still there. I am definitely afraid of bees and didn't know what to do. I found this business on Yelp and called right away. The person who initially answered my call sounded like he was out on a job, but he was still patient enough to listen to my panicked description of the bee problem. He then apologetically told me that he wouldn't be able to get someone out to my property until....later that day. I was like...are you kidding? Same-day service? That's amazing! Indeed, someone showed up later that day as promised, and quickly examined the issue and made a recommendation. Since no work ended up needing to be done, I was not even charged for the visit. I could not be more grateful for their time and expertise, and would definitely recommend them to anyone having a bee issue in the Riverside area! read more

Affordable Bee Services - Retrieving wild beehive from backyard column. - Pest Control Near Me - Riverside, California

I recently used Affordable Bee Services to relocate a beehive from my back yard gazebo, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Their professional Bee Keeper, Carlos, was punctual, efficient, and, most importantly, dedicated to safely relocating the bees. Upon our initial appointment, Carlos completed a comprehensive assessment of the area and took time to explain the process of removing/relocating the hive. I found Carlos to be very easy to talk with and he didn't mind answering questions. Carlos provided an estimate for the job, which required light demolition to gain access to the hive and light reconstruction after the hive was removed and the area cleaned out. Additional work included blocking access points to prevent any bees from returning to the area that formerly housed the hive. The estimate was indeed affordable compared to other companies and it was easy to coordinate a day for the job to be completed. The job was a bit more involved than I anticipated. Given the time and effort the job required, the value was clearly evident. Carlos provided photographs and short video clips documenting the removal of the hive. The job was completed as expected and I was extremely pleased with the results. Thanks to Affordable Bee Services, I couldn't "bee" happier having my yard back and knowing all those pollinators are continuing their important work somewhere else! read more

Uninvited Guests. We had some bees move in under our shed about 3 months ago. At first it didn't bother us too much and then I got stung! So we contacted Affordable Bee Services and they responded within 30 minutes. Two days later they came out to relocate our bees. Seth and Carlos showed up on time and got right to work. It took a couple of hours for them to open the floor in the shed, remove the bees, treat the area and then replace the floor. Now our bees are off to live in an apiary and I can walk down the path without fear of getting stung. We highly recommend Affordable Bee Services. Carlos and Seth obviously love what they are doing and they do an excellent job. We also learned a little bit about bees from these two young bee keepers. If you have unwanted bees do not hesitate to call Affordable Bee Services, you won't regret it. read more

I was pleased to learn that even tho the company is located near Riverside, they provide services to the Temecula/Murrieta area as well. Surprisingly I was able to get same day service, and Carlos, the beekeeper who removed the hive on my property was extremely thorough in explaining the process to me. Carlos assured me that the bees are not harmed but are rather safely moved to the beekeepers' property. AND they produce honey to sell! Carlos videotaped the hive removal process and even gave me some honey retrieved from the hive. Price was very fair too. I highly recommend this company! My husband had noticed bees entering the wall of our garage through a gap created when the irrigation system for our landscaping was installed. He tried spraying, and sealing the gap, but they still seamed to be able to find a way in. Affordable Bee Services was recommended by our monthly pest services. Scott returned my request for a quote promptly, and we scheduled a date and time for the removal of what he was sure was a bee hive. The two gentlemen assigned to do the work arrived on time, and prepared. Carlos explained what they would do, and the expected results. The location of the hive was located, they prepped the area to protect my garage and it's content, and they proceeded to open the wall! Wow, was I shocked! They videotaped the actual opening up, and I could not believe how large it was! The hive was then removed, boxed up to be relocated elsewhere. The area was then treated to remove the scent, so the bees would not return. The wall was closed expertly, and all the mess was cleaned up and the debris taken away. I was informed that there would be bees returning to the hive later in the day, but when they found the hive altered, they would not hang around long - maybe 24-48 hours. In truth, they were completely gone in 24 hours! I was so happy with the job they did! Amazing! read more

I appreciate this company because they did NOT come to my home. A month ago I had a swarm of bees flying in and out of an old vent on the side of my house. I called one company and they quoted me a LOT of money to tear up the stucco and remove the hive the next day. Several hundred dollars. I called this gentleman and he gave me advice: "Wait a couple of days and see if they are going to stay. They might be scoping your house out but then move on. Call me back if they stick around." He was right. The next day the swarm was gone and I haven't seen a bee again. I appreciate his knowledge and integrity. It wouldn't be difficult to fake an infestation and tear up my house. Bee problem for almost a year. Couldn't figure out if it was my neighbor(s) or our house. Turns out it was ours ‍. Connected with a handful of exterminators but one mentioned bee relocating option and referred me to Scott @ Affordable Bee Services. Scott was polite, detailed, and promptly took care of my bee problem (in my 3rd floor roof). About 7000 bees and a hive that was estimated to be growing for about 6-8 months were removed and relocated. I hope we won't have any bee related problems. If we do, I know who to contact. Thank you to Scott and his partner for coming to our aid. Also appreciate the photos and videos you guys too - before, during, and after the job. read more
