After coming back from the Silverton train ride around 230pm on a Friday, I tried to start my car and it just wouldn't give. After calling around all the local shops, everyone basically told me nothing is open on weekends and they were booked till earliest mid week of the following week. When I called Durango Car Care, I told them my situation and they told me they'd try and look at it if I got there before they close but no guarantees they would be able to fix it on time. AAA came around 4pm and got me to the shop around 430pm. The guys stopped what they were working on and tried to troubleshoot my car. After about 15 minutes, they got it working again!!! They didn't have to do any of that! This literally brought my faith back in humanity! The kindest guys and angels to me that day!! I am so so thankful to them and my AAA guy Daylon. Hands down would recommend these guys!!

I knew $65 wasn't accurate but $125 was reasonable seeing that Ram charges $130 but couldn't get me in for 3 weeks. I went to the appointment this morning & the guy checking me in told me that it would be $245 for the oil change. I'm not sure what there labor rate is but I've never heard of a $245 oil change. On my way home I stopped at the Marathon gas station next to Ford & they did the oil change in under 10 minutes for $99. They were super nice & did a great job. Obviously you couldn't pay me to go back to America's Auto & Tire ever again!

When I returned, CJ got my van in as promised, diagnosed the issue, ordered the parts and had me out the door shortly after 5:30 and the price was entirely reasonable. I worked from the waiting room via their free wifi and over the course of the day overheard the way CJ treated his customers... always with respect and honesty. I heard him say, "You don't owe me anything for checking it out, just bring it back when it has something that needs to be fixed." That is how you build a great customer base. Amazingly, we were able to coast into the Autoworks parking lot, where Dennis and his team immediately brought the car in to run computer diagnostic tests, and stayed after hours, right before a holiday weekend, to make sure we could operate the vehicle safely. They also offered to open up early after the holiday to check out our car before we got back on the highway for a 14 hour drive.
