I've worked with this company for a number of years now, and have always been impressed by their work ethic and quality of work. They do not work like most, and always put their clients needs first. They're simply not just here to do a job, they genuinely care that it's done properly and that your needs are taken care of. Even the owner makes site visits, which is incredibly impressive. Don't make a mistake by going with the wrong company. Before using affordable asphalt I had worked with many asphalt companies that overcharge for a lesser quality of work. Not only is their work substantial, they have competitive rates, and an extremely respectful crew. For any of your asphalt needs whether it's a small job for speed bumps or you're redoing the asphalt on a mall parking lot, choose Affordable Asphalt and you won't be disappointed! read more

I called multiple companies to get bids on our parking lot. It needed to sealcoated and have the lines painted. Darrell called me back within hours. He came out and met with me about the repairs we needed. It took about 3 days to receive the estimate for the parking lot. The estimate was presented clearly. The cost of services was "affordable". I did have to call Darrell back to make sure the cleaning of the parking lot was included, as it was not listed as included. Again, Darrell called me back promptly. I was pleased to find that all needed services were included. I was asked to sign and email the estimate to the office manager Amber. It took a few days, but I did receive a call back about a schedule date. Amber sent me a list of things I needed to prepare for the project. They did not ask for any money down, but did ask that payment upon completion. Overall the job they did was good. I really don't know how to judge the service of sealcoating, but can only say that the job looks great. The tar was applied neatly and the cost of the job matched the estimate they gave. Hope this helps. read more

Affordable asphalt coating doesn't necessarily mean quality. The crew seemed to do a good enough job,but it didn't fill in alot of areas where I could still see bare asphalt below. They left me some material to go over and fill in, which I did a couple of times to get spots that were missed. Not sure if I'm paying this amount that I should have to do some of the work myself. After a day or two, there are alot of brown streaks in the coating which is not very attractive. Crew was nice and came back a couple days later to check on this job and did go over area to fill in voids, but still alot of brown streaks. read more

Minus 5! Gave me bid to seal driveway on Anderson Island in June. Increased price twice after I accepted their bid. Found out three months later they never saw the property before they gave me a bid. Didn't show up when scheduled, TWICE! Didn't bother to return calls. Lame excuses from Jeanice who after three months actually said, "I didn't know it was on an island"!!! (Please, address is Anderson Island, WA!!!) Also said she didn't call me back because she didn't understand the Tide Tables. Jerked me around for three months. Finally said , "Maybe you should call one of the other companies." Seriously?!!!!!!! Already rescheduled with another company. Never wrote a YELP review before, but Buyer Beware on this one. read more

This company has been in our development twice now, having sealed cracks a year ago with great success. They just completed a full seal coat of our two roads. It was a big 4 day job, including more filling of cracks before they laid down the seal coat. Again they did an excellent job for our HOA (19 homes). Thank you for doing such a good job! When future services are needed, we know we can trust them to do it all again and do it right. read more

Affordable Asphalt did a much better job of applying the coating than I could of as a diy project. They were on time, communicated well with us regarding prep needed, time of arrival, and very quick in doing the work. The team worked fast and didn't miss a beat. You could tell they had done this many times and were very experienced. There was no excessive sloppiness, no foot prints from sealer, and cleanup was absolutely terrific. I had a white garage door, cedar fences, and concrete flatwork along the perimeter of the job just inches away and they did not allow any sealer to stray onto any of the surrounding surfaces...very neat and professional. I would hire them again as my first choice. Very happy with the interactions and their workmanship. read more

The crew blocked my car with their equipment. I was about to leave for an appointment, I asked them if they would move their equipment so I could get my car out in time for me to leave. They said no, they were going to finish and I would have to wait. I saw they were spraying asphalt coating very near my car and asked them to please stop and let me move my car. They again refused. I got into my car and tried to move it, but they refused to move their equipment and I was blocked in. One of the men instructed the man spraying the asphalt to spray right next to my car, which he then did, while I was stuck in my car, breathing the smell. They laughed, one of them said, "let the b***h out now," moved their equipment and I was able to move my car. Later I went out to my car and the crew was there, they made some rude comments so I took pictures of them. One of the crew came up very close to me and tried to intimidate me to stop taking pictures. They called me rude names, and said I was lucky they did not tow my car (which was parked legally). Not only was the crew discourteous, but they were intentionally rude, and sprayed coating close enough to my car (which I was trapped in) to make me ill from the smell. They also used profanity and were very unprofessional. I spoke to the owner the next morning who called me a liar and hung up on me. I do not recommend this company at all. read more

Formerly did business as Guardian Asphalt. Completely incompetent. Had a driveway installed by them and it starting sinking a week later. Drive was poured too thin and has cracked everywhere. Had it inspected by a reputable asphalt company and they said it could not be repaired-only way to fix it was to remove and replace. Guardian (now Affordable) would not repair, replace or even return phone calls. read more

Affordable Asphalt is in the process of sealing on our neighborhood asphalt road. I've been the contact person and I've found the firm very responsive to my questions. They honored last year's price, did more crack filling than they charged for, and have done a quality job on the completed portion . They were quick to inform us when rain necessitated a change in the schedule and were very willing to accommodate our request to change the order in which our 2-day job was completed. One of the workers generously offered to touch up the coating if water runoff from the roof I was cleaning damaged the wet finish. I'm very impressed with the company and their excellent work and would recommend that you seriously consider Affordable Asphalt for your next asphalt job. read more

Great work, and really is as affordable as it can get. The pavement hasn't looked this good in years. The crew probably doesn't have as tight as a lech as other companies, but they did give me a good laugh while i talked with one on their break. read more

Excellently accomplished! My project included new asphalt, repairing asphalt, crack filling and resealing. They use new technology such as a infrared machine that repaired my asphalt, leaving like-new asphalt and no seams. The crack filling and resealing was very thorough. Their pricing was second from the lowest. read more
