They had all of the hardware for the posts that I needed neatly organized and easy to navigate. Staff was also friendly and helpful. Unknowingly when I walked in, they have a tool rental counter. I was able to rent the rotary hammer that I needed to drill into the concrete. The staff member at the rental counter was super helpful, and I was able to show him pictures of the situation, and show him the hardware I was buying and he helped us determine exactly what we needed, and the right size. I was also surprised to see that they have very high-end landscaping and contractor tools. When I was short a 4 x 4 post, I was able to order it at the lumber counter or drive my truck back to pick one out of the lumber bays. Overall, a very pleasant experience and so glad they were able to help us get this DIY project complete!

After driving back to the job I decided there was no Zombie Armageddon. I went to HD got the CORRECT PARTS in stock. We felt comfortable to take our time to look around. Information would be provided & then we'd be given space to discuss on our own. It never felt pushy or judgmental. The Cafe model we wanted wasn't physically there to see, but we were shown other Cafe & GE models, & had the similarities & differences explained to know what the features were on the one we'd be purchasing. The ordering experience at James's desk was comfortable. We sat on bar seats with a large screen to view on our side that mirrored the computer screen that James worked on. He was very thorough & double-checked everything with us. He was also conversational & humorous during the process. We opted to go with the pro installation team that could handle any possible snafus that could come up (like cabinetry measurements being off) versus a basic install that would only involve taking out the old & putting in the new. There was an initial scheduling issue with the installation. It got mitigated, but resulted in a delay of an hour from our original time slot. The installers were respectful & efficient.
