They had all of the hardware for the posts that I needed neatly organized and easy to navigate. Staff was also friendly and helpful. Unknowingly when I walked in, they have a tool rental counter. I was able to rent the rotary hammer that I needed to drill into the concrete. The staff member at the rental counter was super helpful, and I was able to show him pictures of the situation, and show him the hardware I was buying and he helped us determine exactly what we needed, and the right size. I was also surprised to see that they have very high-end landscaping and contractor tools. When I was short a 4 x 4 post, I was able to order it at the lumber counter or drive my truck back to pick one out of the lumber bays. Overall, a very pleasant experience and so glad they were able to help us get this DIY project complete!

They didn't have one part --a 1" spring loaded slip flow check valve. They didn't know what a 'crack pressure' on a spring flow valve was. Only had a hing valve. That only works for horizontal positions & one vertical position when flow is against gravity. Not my situation. I felt I was going to get it BC of --some reason. So I bought. It was larger than the install dimensions of the job piping so I would need bushings. Great now I will look like a rookie plumber. A 'Rube Goldberg' install. So pro that ... After driving back to the job I decided there was no Zombie Armageddon. I went to HD got the CORRECT PARTS in stock. Three parts for $20.00 w/ a snack @ HD as opposed to 5 parts @ Ferguson for $50.00 w/out a snack. What? I'm a licensed CA plumber. I was made to feel like a criminal by the manager during today's visit. After purchasing my item,…read morethis older Caucasian woman dressed in a blue top (who I was later told was the manager) approached me in the parking lot and curtly demanded to see my receipt. I produced it and she compared the price on my item with the receipt, presumably to ensure I bought it (and didn't steal it or swapped tags with another item?). Then she handed it back to me without a word and started to walk back into the store. Nothing along the lines of "thank you, have a nice day" or any courtesy for patronizing their business. As she entered the door to the Restore, she swung back around and snapped at me about my car being parked in the handicap spot if I'm not disabled. I personally am not, but my mother-in-law is, and my mother-in-law was still checking out her items, and we had the disabled placard hung up in the car. Again, not a single word after this. She did tell me my trunk wasn't closed fully though, so I appreciated that. I guess she had to have the last word? I was made to feel like a criminal. I went to the counter where my mother-in-law was checking out and told her how the manager just rudely spoke to and treated me. The staff at the counter apologized and I replied it's not their fault. It's obvious to me the manager hates her job, so for the sake of ensuring continued business by well-meaning customers, she should either show some respect or let someone who can smile take her job.

Julie was so incredibly UNHELPFUL when I came in today to pick up my items we purchased on Tuesday. She can't seem to find the correlation between the words pickup and loading and was so condescending when I had to spell out for her I was here to pick up my items. When she finally was able to compute that, everything went fairly smoothly until some moron blocked the parking lot with their trailer and then she came out and asked me if I was carrying my furniture I bought to my car...lol I would pay someone to do that for me Julie, if that was the case. Regardless of my awful experience with her, and her disgusting attitude, we got our items we paid for and are happy. Hopefully Julie sees happier days soon.

The repair cost was a little higher than I had initially hoped, but once the technician arrived and explained everything, it made complete sense. He explained that, as an authorized Samsung repair company, they have to pay licensing fees to Samsung and continuously stay up to date on Samsung's ever-changing technology and repair procedures. That level of specialized training is something many other repair companies don't invest in. In fact, before finding them, I contacted several appliance repair companies, and every one of them told me they worked on every brand except Samsung. That alone speaks volumes about the expertise this company offers. Not only did they repair my Samsung refrigerator's ice maker, but they also fixed my Samsung dryer, which had stopped drying properly. The technician went above and beyond by explaining everything in detail, answering all of my questions, and making sure I understood the repairs. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional from start to finish. I'm incredibly grateful to have both my refrigerator and dryer working again. I highly recommend this company and will absolutely use them again in the future.

Replaced our "craft" ice maker, showed us how to turn it on & off and explained the trouble we were having and set clear expectations moving forward. ABSOLUTELY SENSATIONAL. FIRST AMERICAN WARRANTY....NOT SO MUCH. initially they assigned us another appliance repair company (their name escapes me at this time) and when I did just 20 min of research found out on the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAUs website that they were "COMPLETELY ROTTEN". Those were the exact words they used in describing that company. I had to DEMAND to speak with a manager before FAW assigned me someone else. Peter from Appliance Worx arrived, listened to us, diagnosed the problem and amazingly had the replacement "CRAFT ICE MAKER" on his truck. Replaced it.....and the whole visit took maybe 40 min. Moral of the story/review.....Appliance Worx is great. Dont let your home warranty ppl give you "crappy" service ppl.
