Please pay attention to the reviews people! I need my records from them for an on the job injury and they have done nothing but play games with me and my attorney for 6 months. They will place you on hold for 10 minutes and then come back on and say that the lady you need to speak with is unavailable, or in a meeting. For 6 months she has been in a meeting. My attorney has spoken with, Elizabeth, Karrina, Lilly and Liz. I did some reasearch on this company and they had their CA. licensing revoked/ suspended in Feb 2020. In March 2020 we all know that COVID hit and changed everything. Interestingly as soon as PPP Loans were offered, they did a revivor of their business license so that they could apply for a PPP loan and sure enough they got one for almost half a mil. They again let the licensing expire that August (2020) after they got their funds. You can see all this by doing a business search on the CA sec of state website and you can google PPP loans and go to the site and put in their name. They claimed to have approx. 100 employees, but other paperwork filed claimed to have 2-10 employees. Do yourself a favor and move on to another temp agency...there is something fishy going on here and they really do not care about anyone as an individual. They also have a labor judgement pending against them. read more

I have been a temp to hire for about three months now and i have had nothing but terrible experiences with them since the start. they cant get anything straight the girls in the office had me coming back and forth multiple times for signatures just to start as they "kept forgetting to get a signature on something" they never told me they would need two forms of id to register with them so i had to go back and forth to get that, they have no parking designated for them so there's nowhere to park and even to this day i have issues like never being told that my sick time is a lie as i am a temp to hire after 90 days, and don't get sick time till after 90 days with the agency which would mean that i don't get paid why offer it to temps to hire?. read more

The staff at Affluent Staffing is so unbelievably rude and unorganized. Lisa wasnt helpful at all and judged me based off my appearance and told me I wouldn't be suited for a particular job I was interested in. The receptionist gave me attitude because I didn't sign a form simply because the form stated I had received an employee handbook and read it thoroughly when I did not. I politely informed her I had not received it and wouldn't sign something I was unable to read. They also have a section of paperwork with the word "OPTIONAL" so I didn't sign it and Lisa got upset with me and when I pointed out it said optional and not mandatory, she completely ignored me and continued to stand there. I'm a firm believer of giving people the benefit of the doubt but this place is awful. I would honestly give it zero stars if I could. Lisa was asking someone sitting next to me a few questions (because yes, they interview in the waiting room in front of every single person because they have no offices) and she flat out laughed at the persons resume. They ask you to bring one and Lisa skimmed through it and asked for details that were on my resume and then said she asked because she couldn't find it. So unprofessional. Not to mention the paperwork they give you to start off had SO many grammatical and spelling errors. The building looks like it was once a mechanic shop and they just put up dividers for their desks. Hands down the WORST agency I've ever been a part of. After just one week of working through them I show up to collect my paycheck, and they fumble through paperwork and phone calls, deliberately wasting my time, just to tell me that they gave my check to another person because we "shared the same name." They didn't bother to ask for ID or even my address so anyone can practically walk in and steal someones check as long as they know their name and work place. The woman responsible was a dark haired woman with a tattoo on her arm, I can't even believe how incompetent and just plain stupid they are to confuse two different checks (not to mention they kept calling me "David" which leads me to believe they gave a check for "Daniel" to a David. They told me to come back on Monday (I went in on Friday), so I decided to give them a chance and wait. Come Monday I show up and ask if I can finally get my check. They look at me like they had no idea what I was talking about, even though I was talking to the same woman just three days earlier. She says she'll have to call her manager and had me wait for him. I end up waiting three hours before he finally arrives, just for him to tell her I can't get my check until the END OF THE WEEK. I'm furious at the sheer amount of stupidity and uselessness that stems from that failure of an agency. My advice? You're much better off working with Select Staffing or Staffmark, they actually get the job done. read more

This agency is the most unprofessional place I have ever came in contact with! Oliver and George are the biggest problem. Management is very poor and are equal to shady car sales people. Business please stay away they cut corners and place company's at risk to get hit with huge fines. Paying its temps in cash and under the table. No background checks. Stay away from this place! This whole place switched names from Liu and Associates (a law firm) and disappeared from its previous location, switching phone numbers and not letting their clients know so that they couldn't be found. My father was ripped off by Raymond Liu (the attorney) and his stupid assistant Francisco. He hired them to file bankruptcy 3 years ago and still today haven't done any thing on his case. They don't even have a case number because they never submitted shiz to court and continuously collected payments from him until he paid about $1,400. And then just lied and lied about the file being worked on. Today he went here after weeks of searching for this so called "attorney". Turns out now its an agency and the attorney was not there today. Submitted a complaint with BBB (turns out there are a couple others in the same situation) and will submit a complaint with California Bar if we don't get a refund from this crook! Don't do business with these people!!! I would give them 0 starts but 1 is the lowest. read more
