Great local halal joint featuring fried chicken and general American cuisine. The food was great and the service was wonderful.

Was looking for something different so decided to give this place a shot and was pleased…read more I called ahead to order Chicken Tikka Masala, Tandoori Chicken, Vegetable Samosas and (plain) Naan for takeout; was told the food would be ready in 15 mins and it was... The restaurant is located on a main street (Marshall Road), in a very small shopping plaza with a parking lot so it was easy to locate and there is ample parking. I was greeted at the door, upon entering the restaurant, which is very small. The guy who helped me was pleasant and professional... When I got home, the food was still hot and the flavor was on point. My only gripe is that I would prefer to have a little more variety offered with the meals. For example, the chicken tikka masala is just that with rice, I would like if the dish could be served with garbanzo beans and a veggie on the side - again, for variety... But in spite of it all, I will definitely return.

The owner sends in a response to the review almost a couple of minutes later stating this. "Yes that's Uber Eats that's what you will get in delivery with 26 dollars thanks for your kind feedback please find us that much food in 26 dollars on third party app like Uber Eats if you can't afford delivery don't get it delivered order it at store and pickup the same food you will get in 18 dollars at store pickup thanks again for your feedback still get us that much food in store pickup in 26 dollars somewhere else As well" The owner is very rude & dishonest. After I had made my review I presume the owner mass reported the review so google's review ai would take it down. Then, the owner floods the comments with positive reviews almost bot like. The quality of food should not matter where it was ordered from whether it was from a third party app or from a pickup order. The issue wasn't where I could not afford the meal, nor was it mentioned in my review above. Quite rude. The portions did not match the price & I had missing items from the order as shown in the image. If you would like to try out a better desi style restaurant I would recommend Kabobeesh.

I enjoyed every bite but definitely had enough left over to take home for a late dinner. That's always a win! Everything tasted fresh, and the food was prepared efficiently and made to order. The menu is extensive, with plenty of options to satisfy all kinds of tastes. Inside, the restaurant was inviting and pleasant, with a busy but well-organized atmosphere. There were plenty of employees working together to keep up with the busy lunch crowd, and there are great spaces for larger gatherings as well. Overall, a delicious and satisfying lunch with generous portions and fresh food. Definitely a place worth checking out!

Son's friend recommended this place for sandwiches and since he said the onion rings were good that made it a must go to place! We had the: Beef shawarma maroosh style 5/5: The best thing about this humongous sandwiches is the bread is crispy but soft. I was surprised at the price but the sandwich is so big we really could have split one but ordering two left us they both. The beef is so tender it reminded me of chinese beef stew for some reason. Not that it tasted like chinese beef stew but the texture was just so melt in your mouthy! Loved the veggies on it and the sauce! chicken shawarma maroosh style 5/5: Son and DIL loved it here and recommended it. Hubs preferred it cuz he's a chicken fan and loved it for all the same reasons listed above. Onion rings 5/5: Rings were nice and crisp without being overly greasy or fried. It's a nice place with just a couple of booths inside. Originally I was only going to give it 4 stars cuz the way it's set up is weird when they tell you where to stand and where to go...it just didn't feel warm and inviting when you walk in but honestly when I'm in philly again I will make it a point to stop by so that makes it a 5 in my book.

There are a lot of Tex-Mex taco places all around Philly so what would make you want to try this…read moreone? Probably the sauces and salsas. The queso is very nice. The chipotle sauce is even better. It's got a tinge of spiciness. I like the fresh jalapenos that give even more kick. I got the Honey Chipotle Chiecken in my soft tacos. The flavor of the chicken was very good. The price of 3 tacos was not bad at $14.02. You might be wondering when I'll use the "excellent" or "great" superlatives, but I don't need to. If you want to compare this food to, say, Chipotle or Qdoba, you can, and some of you might think this is not much better than those two, but I will say that the additional ingredients that don't exist at Chipotle or Qdoba make this the superior product. The tacos are huge, just like some good Chipotle or Qdoba restaurants, but I think you'll like these better than the familiar places. There's a bit more zing in this food and, for that, it's worth the extra two or three dollars. The restaurant itself has chairs and tables. I can see myself eating there on occasion. The service is pretty quick and you can see all the ingredients, just like Chipotle and Qdoba. Drinks are the usual Jarritos and Mexican Coke. I will warn you when ordering that the tacos start at $9.99 and a protein (from fajita veggies to shrimp) is an additional charge of $1.99 to $3.99. You can have double protein for double the protein price (but a single serving is more than enough). Guacamole is an additional $1.25. It can get pretty pricey if you just say yes to everything. So, let me repeat... take note... if you just get fajita veggies, it's $1.99 more than the $9.99 base price. More fajita veggies? $1.99 more. Guac? $1.25 more. Now you're looking at $15.22 plus tax ($16.44) just for large veggie tacos. So... be careful when ordering!

The honey chipotle chicken is incredible, it is moist and flavorful, great addition to the menu. I got a bowl and was disappointed at the portions. Although I opted out of cheese and sour cream, my bowl was half filled.
