Large stronger plastic takeout bag, important if you have a larger order

I've seen ads for this place on Instagram and Facebook, and decided to try it after having friends suggest it. The menu offerings are pretty simple and straightforward. Breaded chicken in 2-4 PC you can get individually or as a meal with a side and drink. Or you can get those same chicken in bucket quantities from 8 to 32 pieces, that come with sides as well. Sides include gravy, coleslaw, mashed potato or fries that come in regular and garlic option. They also have chicken burgers, poutines, wings in both bone and boneless styles, chicken tenders, all the usual fare you'd expect with a fried chicken restaurant. They also have some vegetarian options for people who might want that. This time we decided to try 8pc meal with garlic fries and gravy. We went with the AFC classic as a baseline. My first impressions were that they had a good crisp to the skin even after driving home. The chicken was juicy without being too oily, which some other fried chicken franchises can sometimes be. The garlic fries are good with the caveat that you can't have too many before it becomes a singular note. I would probably prefer the original style fries but the gravy does save them as gravy does. What more can I say, if you're in the area check them out. P.S. they have a lot of sanitizer available everywhere should you require it.

Meh. That's about as good as it gets. Ordered: Popcorn Chicken Meal AFC Classic Wrap Meal Garlic Fries Popcorn chicken was okay. Didn't come with any kind of dipping sauce. Wrap was soggy - filled with sauce and limp lettuce, not a lot of chicken. Fries were tasty so not a total loss.

Excellent tenders, and chicken always made fresh, never too greasy . Better than any restaurant tenders.

Recently, this chain has come across my radar a few times, and I discovered one had opened near me, so I decided a deeper dive was in order. Having studied the menu online, I knew what I wanted when I walked in. My choice was the "1 Piece Jolly Crispy Chicken with Palabok Fiesta." With a handle like that, it had to be good. For good measure, I also ordered a Pineapple Quencher, and a Peach/Mango Pie. The menu is simple, straightforward and brief. Not a wide selection, but enough of everything that is good. Quencher was in my hand as I left the counter, and the balance of my meal came out in about 8 minutes. The restaurant was steady, but not busy. I love a good noodle dish, and the Palabok Fiesta was a surprising treat. Great flavours and textures, with well cooked noodles. The chicken drumstick was truly excellent. Crispy on the outside, and juicy within, perfectly cooked. The Peach/Mango Pie gave me 70's McDonald's flashbacks, but it was delicious, and much better than Ronald's pies. The Pineapple Quencher was sublime, but needed some rum. Jolibee is a juggernaut, and it is easy to see why. This was the cleanest fast food restaurant I have seen in ages. The service is friendly and very professional, and the food ranks above most fast food chains of my experience. Jollibee Tamarack is the first fast food joint I have ever given 5 stars. I can see this becoming a habit.

They have been sold out before 4pm so this was happy to get an order on Thursday afternoon and they sold out after I ordered! I ordered a full spicy chicken and a half order of snow cheese chicken. Both came piping hot out of the deep fryer. It does take about 15-20 min to cook but the wait is worth the freshness! They are awesome and let you sit in your car parked and bring out your order when its done. But the smell was tantalizing. It looks like a local korean family owned truck and looks authentic and legit. And it is! I saw 3 customers all korean. So that is a very good sign. After 430 the line builds up quickly so try to get here early. The spicy chicken is crispy with a yummy kick. It isn't that typical spicy gooey goughang mess but it still has some spice to it. It's a dry spicy chicken with a light flaky coating which isn't at all heavy like other Korean fried chicken. Pleasures of eating fried chicken without the guilt!!! I liked the snow cheese as well. It was very flavourful. But those fries are really delicious. They coat them in the snow cheese and herbs and they are so delicious tasty and addictive. I'm not a big French fry person but these were light, crispy and soooo tasty. Glad to see a new joint open up with healthier fried chicken options in this city!

The taste and quality of the chicken tasted exactly like the first time I tried them; nice and crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. This place has been my go to for Korean Fried Chicken since they opened in March on the Southside in the parking lot of the Wash Factory. They recently relocated to the Northside on 96th Street and 153rd Avenue in the parking lot of the Ukrainian Youth Unity Complex and I couldn't be more excited; it literally is less than a 5 minute drive from my place! It's great that it's closer to me now, but I think it's dangerous as I may visit more often! Lol!
