I paid $147 just for the service visit, and after looking at the washer, I was told he thought the problem was the shift actuator. For someone I hired as a professional, I expected an actual diagnosis not a guess. Even worse, the technician did not leave everything the way he found it. The drip line for my dehumidifier had been removed from the drain pipe, which resulted in water spilling everywhere. That is completely unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. Then I was quoted approximately $480 for the repair. My washer is only around $699 brand new at Lowe's. So I'm supposed to spend nearly $500 repairing an older washer based on a diagnosis that was essentially "I think this is the problem"? At that point, what is the justification for repairing it when a brand-new machine is only a couple hundred dollars more? For the amount I paid just to have someone come out, I expected a proper diagnosis, competent service, and for my home to be left in the condition it was found. I received none of that. Very disappointed. I would not recommend Becker's Appliances for appliance repair.

We completed a sale over the phone and the salesperson made sure the over the range would definitely fit and was the right product. The installers came out when they were scheduled in a timely manner and called before they came. Once here, they were extremely efficient, friendly and so experienced in what they were doing, it was installed in a record amount of time. They were neat and left no mess behind. We can't say enough about this store and their installers. That level of service and care hasn't been seen by us for a very long time. We were very impressed with the entire transaction. This local business hasn't forgotten that they deal with people and their needs....not just net profits.

We never even took the part out of the box! The professional came 2 days later and promptly told us the part WAS BROKEN. Now we would not have known that, we would have assumed it wasn't the actual problem and bought another stove. The repair guy luckily had another with him, replaced it and was in and out in 20 minutes. We then went to B&K to return the BROKEN PART, and was only THEN informed of the no return policy. What kind of crap policy is that anyway? My husband was FORCED to exchange it for another part (THAT WE DONT NEED) in order to get SOMETHING BACK in the form of a refund. So now I'm stuck with an ignition switch for a gas stove, and forced to sell it on my own if I want the rest of my money back. Thieves and crooks is what they are. The store has just about every accessory you could ask for, a good selection of other sewing notions, some fabric and patterns. It is well-stocked, clean and airy. The classroom is generously sized and there was plenty of room to spread out and maintain social distancing, which was appreciated. The instructor even noticed a small part on my my machine that wasn't in great shape...and I just got this machine serviced and they did not replace that part! I wasn't loving my usual Bernina service center before and this sealed it. Even though this shop is 2 hours from me, this will be my new service hub since my machines only need to be serviced once a year (ideally). Great service, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and friendly classmates. I had a great experience here and am now a loyal customer.
