I live in Leisure world and wanted shutters, interviewed several companies. Aegean offered Hunter Douglas U.S.A. made shutters. (I do not want to support China). I am thrilled with my gorgeous shutters on all 4 bay windows. Worth every penny. My life is transformed. I even sleep later in the morning. We needed drawer pulls for our kitchen cabinets. Personally, we feel that you need to touch them to buy the best one for you. They had a large selection for us to touch to our heart's desire. We ended up Purchasing a large order. Then we ended up needing to purchased a very small order a second time. They were happy to help us each time. The studio is design to help people with their remodeling or redecorating. Yet, we got great service with our small order. Do it yourself kind of people can even get tile & other items from them too. Recently, a family member of mine was doing a remodel of their master bathroom in their house. We had a time constraint of getting it done within 30 days, so I wanted to have all the materials on-site prior to construction starting. My family member asked me where to go and get materials and I suggested either Home Depot, Lowe's, or State College. There contractor suggested Aegean Design Studio. The best part is that Aegean Design Studio works with the client to see what the client wants, needs, and budget. Wendy and her team helped us out with laying out the design of the bathroom remodel prior to any construction and making sure that all required pieces were there (cabinets and tile). Our contractor walked off the job, prior to the bathroom remodel being finished. Wendy once again came thru giving me ideas and supplying me with different contractors to get the remodel finished. Lots of lip service. Their lifetime installation guarantee is apparently the equivalent of the life span of a male mosquito. I admit they tried hard in the beginning, but after constant problems, I think they branded us as whiners - which we are not. They came out, inspected, agreed that there was a problem, attempted to correct it, only to have the same issue recur a few months later. In most cases, I can (and will) fix things myself. In this case, I didn't have the expertise nor the tools and they, eventually, just quit calling back. I love to purchase from small, locally owned businesses. However, in this case, I will (and have) go elsewhere in the future. No love and 5 grand down the tube. I'd give one star, but they get a bonus star for accommodating early on. Based on recent behavior, they'd get a zero. read more

I opened an olive oil and balsamic store in Rossmoor Area. I needed help in the design of my cabinets and the counters. They got me exactly what I needed and my store looks fantastic. So many of my clients asked me where I got my beautiful granite counters . Horrible customer service. I purchased expensive Hunter Douglas blinds. Shortly after. I had issues with the blind mechanism. Returned blinds 2 times to get repaired and never received any charges. Brought the blind back for the 3rd time. Same issue and I was charged $45 for shipping and handling. read more
