We found Ascension salon and based on the high rating and reviews decided to see about getting an appointment. I called and was able to get in quickly and they asked what she needed done. When we arrived we were greeted immediately. Chrissy was my daughter's stylist and she was an absolute delight very professional and friendly. I used to really enjoy coming to this salon, but unfortunately my recent experiences have been very…read moredisappointing. The last few times I've paid $100 for a cut and style, my hair still felt dirty after the wash, like the product wasn't rinsed out completely. On top of that, the haircuts themselves have been uneven and not what I asked for. Most recently, one side (the left side) of my hair was over an inch longer than the other (the right side) and the layers in the back were choppy and poorly blended. I actually had to purchase my own scissors to fix it at home, which is not something I should ever have to do after paying this much for a professional haircut. I've tried giving the salon multiple chances and have seen different stylists, but the issues have been consistent. While the staff is friendly and scheduling is easy, I don't believe the quality of service matches the price. For $100, I expect a clean wash and an even, well-done haircut and unfortunately, that hasn't been my experience here.

I was going to the park salon for one year and I will not be going back after my last experience…read morewith them. I was going once a month for a great hair cut and color by Megan, very talented. However I was so disappointed by the way the entire reception team handled a mistake in the schedule. They blamed me for the mistake and wanted to charge me for the cancelation fee right away. After talking to three different receptionists about the issue, who were terribly uninformed on their cancellation fee, I felt like I was being tricked and lied to by everyone to try to cover up their mistake. I asked to speak with a manager and they ended up dropping my call after that request and never tried to call me back about the issue. I ended up canceling all appointments. I will miss Megan's work, but I cannot take my valuable services back to a salon who has no idea what's going on in the front desk, and in the process is making mistakes with appointments and blames the guest.
