I just purchased a new home recently, and already have plumbing issue with our sewer lateral. According to the home inspection report, the previous home owner used this team. I contacted them immediately and got to talk to Carlos. He was very honest and was able to tell me the plumbing history of my house that I didn't even know! Romeo was sent to our home in the following day for an in person inspection and consultation. He arrived within the first 10 mins of our 3 hours scheduled window. He was very polite, helpful, and knowledgable read more

I've hired Romeo for a couple jobs now. The first was to fix a leak that was between my upstairs and downstairs bathroom. He identified the problem and fixed it promptly. He also referred me to someone who sealed up the dry wall and painted it, making it look as though nothing ever happened. I also had Romeo come out to replace my parents' kitchen faucet. I had banked on doing it myself, but the previous faucet's nut had completely rusted over and wouldn't budge. He took care of that easily and also swapped out the poorly installed garbage disposal tube which was trapping water - which smelled horrible! He's now the go-to plumber for both our households. Highly recommend! read more

needed a plumber to get an estimate for a re-pipeline of the gas for my air conditioner. They immediately responded and came out to check my gas pipeline. Carlos was very professional and respectful. He explained how he would re-pipe the gas lines to the to be located in the attic. He gave a great price and I will call them soon to do the work. read more

We have Advantedge Plumbing out before, they have always done a great job for us. Most recently, we had a backed up drain line. They got that fixed but discovered that a repair done 30 years ago by another company was failing. That led to a series of issues we did not know about. So most of our plumbing was replaced. Carlos and Romeo did a fantastic job. They even stayed late to make sure we had what we needed each day before leaving. read more

Called Advantedge Plumbing for a running toilet with broken shut off valve. We were able to get an appointment the next day and the technician, Carlos, removed and installed a new quarter turn angle stop in one visit as he had all the parts. He showed up on time, was courteous and we will use Advantedge again Note - we told them in advance the type of toilet read more

Romeo showed up right on time. He was going flush out the tankless water heater they had installed last year as the manufacturer recommends. But he quickly realized that we had a water softener installed and said there was no need to have it flushed out as the soft water doesn't have any scale build up. I really appreciate that. He could have just done it and I would never known the difference. That's why I have used these guys for years, at both my business and at home. Highly recommended! 5 stars! read more

Carlos and his plumbing crew were ready at the drop of a hat to drive up to my house and get started immediately. I appreciated the explanation of what was wrong, how they were going to be fixing it and what the price point was going be. Side note: they charged me exactly what they estimates me for the job! I will call them again and recommend them to anyone in my area. They were responsive, kind and clean. Five stars, all the way and really patient. read more

Downstairs toilet in our 1950s home backed up. Broken side sewer. I called on a Sunday night and Carlos was out the next day for an inspection and repair recommendation which was to pipe blast and install a liner. His bid was competitive, not cheap, and I had used his company before on a smaller job, so was confident in her ability. The work was done well, within a week. I highly recommended Advantedge Plumbing. read more

Our bathroom sink pipe was corroded and broken. We immediately searched Yelp and contacted plumbers with good reviews. Advantedge responded right away and set us the same day visit. The technician showed us the issue and solutions with up front price. We are happy to work with them again read more

The technician showed up for the quote on time. The price was not the cheapest, but it was fair. I made a mistake thinking that the appointment was on a Monday instead of Tuesday. They patiently reminded me that it was the following day, after I left several messages. They arrived on time and prepared. They completed the work as planned. I was especially thankful, since the project affected 3 families. They did a good job. read more

My new go-to plumber! My tenants had a problem with the shower - scalding hot water only! I called Advantedge Plumbing late on a Wednesday and they were at the house bright and early the next day to resolve the issue! They thoroughly explained the problem and were super accommodating of my situation, handling from a remote location in Cali. Trustworthy, fast, and reliable! read more

We had a plumbing emergency in Oakland that needed to be fixed same day. We called several plumbers, but Carlos and Romeo were the only ones who could come out. They arrived on time, were very professional and well organized and they took out the problem quickly. They came out again the next morning with the camera so we could see if there were additional issues. Fortunately, there were not. We will definitely use them again. read more

I contacted them through Yelp and got a very quick response. We had a backed up kitchen drain and had even snaked it ourselves with a 50ft but it still wasn't working. 2 gallons of boiling water down the drain also did not seem to punch through the blockage. They were able to come out same day, although they did miss their arrival window by over an hour. Once they arrived they made quick work of things. The plumber also had a 50ft snake which made me skeptical (I snake 1 drain and think I'm an expert); but he said that since his had a motor, it had a lot more torque and power. Anyway, he got the drain cleared pretty quickly (and the blockage was a lot less then 50 ft away) and then also fixed our pipes which were originally installed incorrectly. All in, it was about 2 hours of work in and out. Was respectful of our home and didn't make a mess. He also wore his mask. read more

I posted the project of replacing my 2 toilet online and Carlos reached out to me with estimate within few minutes. He was very good at communicating about scheduling. Upon removing my old toilet he spotted that the old toilet were leaking water and the floor was uneven and the new one can also cause leak soon and would wiggle. He gave me option to just replace it or add some more stability and spacer to balance the new one. He did a great job of replacing, cleaning the area and hauling away the old toilet. I will definitely re-hire him for my future plumbing needs and will recommend him to friends and family. read more

Advantedge Plumbing did a terrific job fixing leaks in pipes around my moms home. He came by promptly to first quote a free estimate. He was wearing a mask and thoroughly gave us a summary of what needed to be done. We made arrangements for him to return to get the leaks fixed. He made time on my day off to fix her plumbing problem so I could be with my mom. Carlos completed the plumbing problems and leaks quickly. He cut and replaced pipes/spouts efficiently and made my mom very happy to not waste water. He was polite and courteous- parked his workvan neatly. Great price consistent with estimate. read more

From the initial call to the final fix this plumbing service is excellent. It is always dishearteningly when you have to call a plumber but these people treat you right and are honest and trustworthy. They are friendly, honest, very knowledgeable and get right to solving your plumbing problem. Love the pride they have for their job! Thanks Advantedge! You get 5 stars! read more

had an excellent experience with this Plumbing Service in Oakland yesterday and today. (Sunday) I called to see if a plumber was available and they happily made time to work with me the following day. Monday morning, I get a text letting me know that the plumber Carlos is coming soon and they give a picture which helps out a lot. Carlos came in and knew exactly what was wrong with my water supply valve and why my tank was constantly refilling. He fixed it within an hour and everything is working perfectly. Moving forward, all of my plumbing needs will be handled by this company because of how quick that they were able to respond and fix my problem. read more

Work ethic, professionalism and just being polite to deal with is what you will find from Carlos and his team. Add fair pricing, quality solutions and good work and after 25yrs of owning our home we have found a plumber to work with as the need arises. We had a main drain issue on Sunday of course. We spent the day gathering quotes, finding out who had the needed tools (hydrojet & camera) and figuring out who could do the work ASAP. AdvantEdge responded to our Yelp search promptly, had what was needed and provided an appointment for a free estimate 1st thing Monday AM....not a $150-$225 min charge to diagnose many hit you with. He arrived promptly (even offers Uber like tracking to know exact arrival time). After diagnosing the mainline issue, he bid the job (not an open ended hourly guestimate) and after some negotiations regarding other work needed a price was agreed upon and the work commenced. Of course it turned out to be a bit more than expected....but the bid was set and the work completed....and you cannot even tell they had to dig a massive hole in our front-yard, southwest style landscaping. That job ended up taking all day for Carlos and his worker so that the other non-emergency work, fix a fridge water supply line and reseat leaking toilet, had to be done the next day. Carlos sent Jason and his son Joshua out. They went above and beyond to get the work done which included having to dig a path under the house so they could fit to get under the duct work and piping in the crawl space and using some very creative thinking came up with a great solution to our fridge waterline issue. The toilet was knocked out in no time at all by Jason while his son Joshua did prep work for the fridge job. A smart use of time not always seen on these types of jobs by others. Overall well above the norm in performance in all important categories. Highly recommended!! read more

AdvantEdge Plumbing - Could not even tell this large hole was dug when finished! WOW!! - Plumbing Near Me

Happy to have found this plumbing company - responsive, professional, straight-forward, quick, and reasonably priced. Jason White Horse has 20 years plumbing experience and helped us get our water filter working, and helped diagnose the leak from our dishwasher. He also saved us money and time by suggesting we buy a new faucet rather than pay for diagnosing and trying to find new parts. He explained that our previous plumber had not tightened and installed everything correctly, so we were getting lots of little leaks in our kitchen sink. They have a team of 6, so I can count on them to be available when I need them! The office managers were nice, and they send you little text updates to confirm scheduling and when the plumber is on their way - which I really appreciate! read more

Had a review here and not sure what happened to it, but steer clear of this company. 1st time I had them come out, they put a hole in my exterior wall. You could literally see outside. The representative tried to leave and said they weren't responsible. The owner ended up sending someone to patch it up, they did horrible patch work, but they closed the opening to the exterior. Second time, I hired a contractor who couldn't get the water heater to work. They literally charged me $1800 to run 10 feet of galvanized piped that I already had and 10- 15 ft of new pipe they installed. The job was so janky, they attached the galvanized pipe to a brick. I'm guessing they thought I wouldn't look under the house. It's possible that they do good work, but my experiences haven't confirmed that they do. I just advise that if you use them, you monitor their work. read more

Our water heater in our garage blew! We discovered it last Wednesday morning... Water everywhere, close to cardboard boxes filled with clothes & house stuff. We called all the usual plumbers and everyone was too busy till next week... I called Advantedge and they said right off... They are on their way! They were great... They gave me a estimate that was only a third of what was quoted by Home Depot! They cleaned and replaced the heater w the exalt same brand & size, replaced belt & copper piping and stuck w the estimate price... In less then 3 hours since the discovery of the blown heater, they were finished and on their way... Fricken Amazing! Now the water is hot! read more

Carlos was fabulous! He was an expert at both sewage drains and storm drains. Really helped advise me on next steps and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. I've been using Advantedge Plumbing for the past few years for minor fixes and they always show up on time and are super respectful. Don't hire these guys! We hired them for replacing the drainage under my home. Over TWO AND A HALF MONTHS later: - the job is not yet complete (pl see photos attached of the walls cut open and still waiting to be patched up) - they lied about applying for the permit with the city (it was a part of the contract that we agreed to prior to starting the job). For weeks after the pipes were replaced, they kept blaming on the city for not scheduling an inspection - due to COVID. I called the city and found that it was not true. They had not even applied for a permit! - a month after installing the new pipes (and after several reminders) , they finally applied for a permit but never paid the fee - till date. Now the city is planning to issue a citation! - they've stopped responding to any text/ Yelp messages, phone calls even though we've been extremely considerate and patient with them. We are considering legal action against them. Also planning to complain to the CSLB and BBB. And now we have to hire someone else to complete the job that they left unfinished! read more

Needed a plumber early Saturday morning because my toilets were backed up and sewage was coming from my shower. YUCK! I found them in YELP and had someone at my door within 2 hours. The plumber that arrived never even entered the house but with mask on he snaked the outside drain hole and within 30 minutes the issue was resolved. They only took cash so I had to run to the ATM but he followed me. I found out a week later my daughter was flushing pads!!!!! Wooooosah read more

We had a disastrous backup of the sewage system for a four house cul-de-sac late last night. Needless to say, we were the lowest home so worst affected! I called late in the night, they responded immediately to the call, and arranged to come out first thing in the morning. They called me at 8, promised a time window, and their man promptly arrived. Carlos jumped in and immediately handled the problem! He was courteous, intelligent, explained the situation and resolution clearly and respectfully - in short, he was great! I love their efficiency, I love their price definitely will hire them again. read more

This all started with a clogged kitchen sink. I tried snaking it myself and after two tries and many hours of trying I decided to send out a few yelp requests. With in a few minutes Carlos contacted me with a great $99 / 6mo warranty special they were doing and availability the next day. I was getting requests from other companies for a photo of the sink. This seemed weird to ask for a photo of a clogged kitchen sink. Carlos didn't request a photo. He just gave me what I needed the most.. price, warranty, and availability. During this short period with Carlos he informed me they had an opening same day between 3-5pm. I took it! Josh arrived a little after 3pm and got right to work. My aged pipes under the house gave him a little trouble but he ultimately won he the battle. Josh couldn't have been more professional, nice, and on-point with his job. He's represents AdvantEdge really well and makes them look like a solid company. Nice job Josh! After Josh left, I received a call from Jazz (sorry if I spelled it wrong) who was making a following up call. She was great to talk with and I was able to tell her I was one happy customer. Final note for this company and why they'll be my first call when I need another plumber.. this all took less than 3 hours from Yelp request to my discussion with Jazz. Prompt, Professional, and everyone I contacted was unbelievably nice. Solid work! read more

Our shower was oozing gray sludge and water was no longer draining. I had called another plumber and they were no-shows twice. I called AdvantEdge after getting a Yelp recommendation. Roberto was out within hours. As described by other reviewers, he came out in protective mask and shoe covers. Within an hour, our shower was great again; the culprit was hair. We also discussed our future plans for installing new pipes; we will definitely keep them in mind. read more

We reached out to AdvantEdge via Yelp, and they responded very quickly. Encouraged, we made an appointment for 9am-10am the next day. But the next day, they never showed up. They didn't call to say that they would be late or needed to reschedule. We never heard from them. No follow up. Nothing. I guess they just didn't want a new client. Instead, we found a better local company with a real website who showed up on time and fixed the issue as promised. Now we have a dependable plumber who we will use again. Customer service matters. We'll never try AdvantEdge again. read more

Really good experience! - Replied to my yelp inquiry within 3 minutes (on a Saturday morning!) - Roberto was available to come out for a no fee onsite quote within a couple of hours - He gave me a reasonable quote and was able to do the work to fix my broken drain immediately (after he ran out to get the necessary materials) - He offered to sweep up the kitchen when he was done fixing the sink Highly recommend! read more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! Don't use them. Long story short, they ruined our bathroom, spammed us with calls to get payment BEFORE they came back to fix it, and then didn't fix it. I called to inquire really and expected that my appointment wont be until the next or few days. I was so grateful someone came within the hour I called.
