Most of us are not TECHS and need exactly what Monster security delivers: tech support and a system that has the internal back up connected to our modems. My go to guy was Eric--but the two techs were equally helpful, and this involved some wire run through with my attic. Everything was handled with precision and clean up. I also have tech back up when I need it. After my experience, I believe that this is the kind of security most people need---what is sold over the counter may be what they THINK they are getting---but not what they NEED. They came out this afternoon and did the locks for three doors, six locks total which is the max the warranty covers. Our locksmith's name was Alex and he was super friendly. He arrived on time and was polite from start to finish. He explained the whole process to me and told me how the old locks worked and how the new ones will work since they were built differently. He took his time with his work but still got it done faster than I expected which was a pleasant surprise. He made sure I tested the new locks with the new keys so I could be sure everything was all good, and it was. I had a great experience with this company from start to finish. The scheduling was painless and fast and the technician arrived within the estimated window. I was also notified when he was on his way and I was able to track his progress so I could tell when he would arrive. I'm not sure why other people had bad experiences in the past, but my experience was nothing short of perfect. Specifically I was trying to burn a few CD's for my American mom, and the burns failed, so now I have a bunch of coasters! Mom thinks the software had some kind of encryption parameter switched on, or perhaps the music I have is copyright-protected with a DRM, but I told her that it's actually a hardware failure! When I called, Mike answered the phone, and he seems like quite a sweet guy! I explained my situation to him, and he informed me of the possibility that I may need new DVD/CD Rom drives. He says that when it comes to reading and writing CD's and DVD's, drives and burners can fail after a short amount of time, as these machines aren't built to last like they used to be! Fast forward to this afternoon. I went to Eugene Computers with my provider, Karry, and they actually had the right kind of DVD/CD Rom drives for me! And better yet, they let me recycle the old ones that I brought in! I brought the new ones home, and by the way they're brand new and sealed, for which I paid $37.00 a piece (not a bad price at all!), and when I opened them up and plugged them into my machines, they actually work wonders!
