I want to give a shout-out to Chandler of Budget Blinds of Marysville…read more Chandler recommended a vertical blind like no other we had seen. We have a 12' wide double slider in our bedroom and it was getting tricky finding something that wouldn't take up huge amounts of space on either side of the glass. Drapes were definitely out. I wasn't looking for complete blackouts, but I needed something that would cut out the early morning sun coming in from the east The brand he recommended is made by Norman. They were perfect. Great product, great customer service. Thumbs up!

We emailed him in between asking if he was working on it and got a terse response saying yes, he was working on it, but didn't get the new bid until May 18th. We agreed to it and he said he would send an invoice. On May 29th we were still waiting for the invoice. We didn't feel it should take a month to get a bid and who knows how much longer to get the order in. He never gave any apologies for delays or gave a reason for their being delays. On the 29th when we said we're going elsewhere and why, he said sorry he's been on an extended family vacation. Seemed a lame excuse especially in a sales position, people always say they're going to be out of the office such and such dates or let you know a reason why you're not going to get any communication or results from them

What a great find! And by that, I mean Mark!…read more I broke my glass shade on my banker's lamp. I assumed I could replace this myself. Who knew? Not me, evidently--this can be very complicated including wires being too short to re-establish even if you do know wiring. (The shade had to be replaced involving wiring?!!? Why yes it did, which is why I needed someone like Mark.) Knowledgeable, informative, engaging, listens and communicates well, dependable and helpful--we had to commute from Bellingham, and he worked with us to serve our needs so that all was timed right. Delightful to chat with, quality workmanship--new happy lamp and very pleasant experience!!!

The people at Shade Concepts were very responsive and helpful. The field worker, Carolyn, came to our home and met with my wife. They make these custom, high quality window treatments in many beautiful fabrics.. NOT one size fits all. Our consultant, Daphne, was a great listener and thoughtfully evaluated our situation and concerns (light filtering vs black out for an upstairs guest room with high windows and skylights. Our concerns were insulation/energy for this project). She measured using a laser system which is fast and extremely accurate. She also brought her own ladders. We looked at my wall colors and she gave me her opinion as I was on the fence. Within a few days, Daphne sent a detailed quotation including several options as I wasn't sure which way to go. The quotation included information on the lifetime warranty, US-made product, and Costco Shop Card (which is truly awesome!) We made our decisions on color and styles and were able to pay/place order online. Daphne came back out as soon as the blinds were received and even managed to squeeze us in despite the busy holiday season. I should mention Daphne was personable, efficient, and extremely professional as I remembered her and her meticulous attention to detail when she installed blinds for several projects at our previous home. The installation was done quickly, maybe less than an hour. The blinds look amazing. I would rate Shade Concepts 5 stars all the way! Top-of-the-line, backed by a lifetime warranty, and exceptional staff supporting all aspects of the purchasing and installation experience.
