BE SURE, however, to ask reception before you go back for your scan AND tell your technician you want the CD of your images ready when you leave the session. For some strange reason, this facility doesn't actually get that to the doctor who ordered your MRI. I've never heard of that.

Apparently this facility is not as accommodating as I had previously thought. When they make…read morescheduling errors they blame the patients and offer arbitrary explanations for their logic. I had an appointment 1/17/17 at 10:30 am. I checked in at 10:35. The receptionist said that the appointment was at 10.15 and I was 30 minutes late. We went back and forth and I told her the voicemail said 10.30. She said there might be an 11 and another receptionist chimed in and said if she doesn't come between 10.45 and 11 you can have that appointment. I waited and went to the desk, it was 11.02 and someone walked in and checked in. I asked if I can still have the 11, she said that the appointment came and I can't. I asked why her previous statement did not apply and she remarked I didn't even have an appointment. Overall this was a very unnerving and unprofessional experience. If someone in their office makes an error they should own up to it instead of deflecting accountability. Hopefully Illinois Masonic will yield better experiences in the future.

Don't even think about it... Just book and pay the membership. Dr. Farag and his staff are amazing…read moreand finding out your results right away is priceless. So organized and detailed and if Dr Farag sees something he does an ultra sound right there and discusses the results with you right after and make a plan. I see so many recent reviews griping about the fee. Have you looked at your insurance bills with other providers after finding a potential problem. I bet you will find the fee to be the same after you pay for co-pays, parking and all the additional fees. Or instead you can go to Northwestern where they tack on fees left and right and make you wait for weeks for your results and then multiple appointments later plus the stress of waiting and you've already likely paid the $390 anyway in co-pays and fees cause insurance is BS. I started at NW and had months of stress and appointments. Never again. The piece of mind is worth every penny. Do it. Trust me.

So I found several places that do offer same day results without an additional $390 "membership…read morefee" which like others said is the same thing we were offered prior to the fee. I believe everyone's financial situation is different so if you can afford it and don't mind spending all that extra money then this place is for you. If you are like the majority who can't then just make a few calls these places are out there. I also found numerous that are next day.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Through the website I found out they take my insurance, just to…read moredouble check I called and they confirmed they indeed take my insurance so i booked my appointment for today. (I spoke with LUPE). Today, I get a call one hour and a half before my appointment with them telling me they don't take my insurance even though I double checked with them and that if want to go would be out of pocket. What!!! It's a total ripoff!! So now I wont be able to be checked by a doctor today but on top of it I lost a day of work because I adjusted my schedule in order to go... ALL because of their incompetence and because they are obviously trying to scam people. (As you can see by their reply, accountability ZERO! The person I talked in the phone (Lupe) said SHE made the mistake and instead of writing all the insurance information she just input "blue cross blue shield" without adding anything specific and yet still I made the appointment a week ago, sending a copy of my insurance a week ago, yet they wAited until an hour before the appointment making me lose a day of work because of their mistake??? Cash price what?? The only thing I was told was "if you still want to come it'll be out of pocket) All conversations are recorded btw, maybe realized as an owner your employees can make mistakes that can affect the client)

I came to this clinic for a couple pairs of new orthotics. They cost the typical price, about…read more$800, which was partially covered by insurance. The orthotics needed to be adjusted several times, to get them to fit properly. Each time I returned for an adjustment, each appointment within 1 month of initially receiving them, I was charged a co-pay. I felt like I was being charged to correct something that should have been guaranteed to fit. Basically, they charged me and my insurance each time to send the orthotics back to the lab to be adjusted. And each time my orthotics were sent out, they took about 2 weeks to get back to the clinic. On top of this, the clinic seems to occasionally over charge. I end up with some credits on my account, which I was never told about. They did not offer to issue a refund check. Which reminds me, it's been more than a year since my last visit and according to my health insurance they still owe me a credit. They've never contacted me about this, basically leaving it up to me to track my refund down. On a positive note, Dr Glick and Dr Tsatsos did an excellent job informing and educating me about my foot structural issues. They gave me a lot of information on how to find shoes that fit and don't exacerbate my issues.

The actual care is good. The problem is the policies. First, there is a COMPLETE INABILITY to reach…read morethe office. They do not answer the phone, or respond to voicemails, emails, or texts. In my first experience with this, they prescribed the wrong antibiotics for my son on a Friday. Not a huge deal if they would respond to urgent messages, but they don't, so I had to drive back to the office after 6 hours, or risk my son going the weekend without antibiotics. They also permit "same day" and next day appointments, but make no effort to actually book them so you'll be left in the balance wondering if you have an appointment or not. As far as I can tell, they simply do not prioritize communication, which is unfortunate given that good medical care is built on good communication. I looked past all of that because of convenience, but today my 16 year old went today for a follow-up appointment and they demanded payment for an appointment she had 3 weeks ago before they would see her. I haven't received a bill or an EOB so over the phone I asked that they see her and send her home with an invoice. Again, this is not an overdue balance - the insurance claim probably just settled from a visit 21 days ago. I think it's pretty reasonable to ask to see what I'm being asked to pay, what insurance paid, etc. They refused to see her, so she once again wasted her time. My family is taking our business elsewhere.

It's fully my mistake, but I ignored the reviews on Yelp about hidden fees and administrative…read morehiccups and proceeded forward because of the glowing Google reviews. I booked an appointment here because I needed help with a cosmetic issue and was able to snag an appointment by submitting a form and emailing with their scheduler. The check in was smooth and the nurse helping me took notes about my issues (after telling me that I was limited to 3) and the proceeded to say (after chatting with the doctor) that I didn't book a cosmetic appointment and they would need $250 now and a portion of that would be used toward a procedure. The doctor didn't even come in to tell me this, she instructed the intake nurse to do that. What frustrated me is that I specifically spelled out what I needed in the intake form, their scheduler incorrectly categorized my appointment, then I was told that I booked the wrong thing when I couldn't even book anything on my end in the first place. There was no offer of a consult (due to their oversight), and no conversation offered with the doctor, it was just pay $250 right now or leave. The lack of transparency was disheartening and the pressure to make an on the spot decision about something so serious (without chatting with the doctor) was unprofessional. I easily would have paid the fee had they apologized for their oversight but the attitude was so "take it or leave it" that I had lost trust. Reader, you'll likely end up going for a visit (like I did haha), but I regret it for what it's worth!
