This past winter, I decided to remove two pear trees from the backyard and one from the front yard. A supervisor attributed the lawn's decline to the removal of these trees and to the high summer temperatures. Notably, the front yard has not exhibited any signs of being affected. The recommendation provided was to invest further resources into reseeding and aerating the lawn. I intend to manage these improvements independently, as I believe the current situation cannot worsen significantly.

He didn't find any evidence of nesting mice (thank goodness!) , but did find areas of where it could have entered. He also handled my kitchen ant problem!
