I spent $2000 with Mavis in everything they touched. They messed up. They appear to be a really Shawty company. Incompetent management is not there. As I said earlier, the amount of money I spent was not in the books that was in Yulee, Florida and then I was at Jacksonville and they could not find a record. They never made it right. That was after my military discount. He said it was because I got two extra quarts of oil and it was $15 a quart he told me if I bought my own oil. It would only be 40 bucks so I went and bought my own and they serviced my car for $40 just to stay at promised. The service is great. The technicians were friendly and the manager was very helpful when I had a dispute over the price he fixed it so overall, I was very happy with the service.

Jeffrey upsold me on the lifetime alignment and asked if I was waiting or dropping it off. I told him I was waiting for it that's why I made an appointment. I took a walk around the area for little over an hour and arrived back to the store only to find my vehicle still sitting where i left it. It's now 9:15 and Orlando pulls the vehicle into the bay and walks away leaving the vehicle untouched for another 20 minutes. Orlando arrived back to the vehicle and walked around it several times spinning the tires has he played on his phone. Jeffrey walked out to the shop as I was making my way through the parking lot after watching zero progress being made on my vehicle for over an hour. I requested both Jeffrey and Orlando to lower my vehicle as I didn't have the time to wait any longer as they had already had the vehicle for an hour and 45 minutes and zero work had been performed. I should have gone to the reviews first to make a decision on where to spend my time and money. I drove past two of firestones competitors to get to their location and when I left their location, I stopped at one of them and spent my money there.

I was happy with their service then as well as their customer service. Anyone who knows me, knows I'm a stickler for GOOD customer service. So anyway, that's what brought me back. This time I needed not only my oil changed but I also had a rear taillight that was out. When I called to make an appointment, I spoke with a man who was pleasant but rushed me off the phone. I didn't think much of it because it was late in the day and I just figured they were getting ready to close up shop. I showed up for my appointment early and as I was speaking to the man behind the counter, he told me he was the one who spoke with me over the phone and he'd have his mechanic check my taillight. After about 30 minutes, he came into the office and advised me that I did in fact need 2 bulbs due to them being blown out. He then advised me it would cost me $42 + tax to replace the bulbs!! I was shocked. Completely. At first I thought that would be the total price for the oil change and the bulbs but he advised me that the $42 was separate from the oil change. I told him to forget it. He seemed a little miffed and stated after cutting me off in mid-sentence, "so you want me to tell him to put the bad bulbs back in?" Uh yea. Today I went to Auto Zone and bought the 2 bulbs the man said I needed. Guess what? For 4 bulbs (they are sold in pairs) cost me $15! And guess what else? The parts manager installed the BULB for me. And now guess the best part of all!!! I ONLY NEEDED 1 BULB, so I returned the 2nd pack of bulbs and all together it ended up costing me $8 after being refunded for a bulb I didn't even need!!! I was going to give Advanced Auto Care Center my business to fix my car A/C but I no longer will. This is either a perfect example of taking advantage of me because I'm an older woman or just plain ol greed and lying! Either way, I'm done with this business and hope others will be leery of taking their vehicles here. Shame on them!

Ended up here for an oil change last week and signed up for an additional tire rotation. The techs…read morecouldn't find the right socket for our tires so a 20-minute job took more like 1 hour. The guys were super friendly and let us know about the wait time. While we waited in the office area (thankfully air conditioned), the phone rang a few times and it was the most annoying ringer, so we ended up standing outside a few times during our wait. At least the single-occupancy restrooms were stocked and clean so that was convenient. The tire rotation service unfortunately caused a repair patch on one of our tires to fail so we were losing air pressure on the way home (Putnam County) and needed to visit a tire shop the next day. Not blaming the shop for this, just a heads-up that if you go to a Jiffy Lube, maybe stick to the oil change. As a side note, a week or so after the visit, we received an email from Carfax in partnership with Jiffy Lube so prepare for them to share your VIN number with other companies.

The salesman met me inside with his sunglasses on and did not introduce himself? He was very vague when I asked him questions about maintenance and warranty. I needed a car because mine had been totaled and this place was recommended , but still I think they take no pressure to the extreme. It seems you can still be polite and friendly.
