But he makes you feel like he considers your problems as important as any others. He takes lots of time in a relaxing manner and is so much more caring and knowledgeable than my "primary physician" whom I don't see anymore. Even though I have Medicare and this clinic takes cash/credit only, it is worth it to me to get results the first time and every time I see him. His nursing staff, Eva, and "blonde" Monica, are very compassionate, caring and efficient, taking their time to help you. Monica is very gentle when taking blood samples and the technique utilized to help me with my problem took a long time, but the results were phenomenal and I felt so much relief! She basically told me she couldn't help me. She told me he was NOT dehydrated then walked out multiple times mid sentence. She then asked for a urinalysis which was fine I was glad something was coming out of it. A nurse or MA came in not sure nor do i care but she said ok he can go ahead and pee in the cup and stood there staring at me. I said right here ? And she laughed at me saying no in the bathroom and still stood there I said well where is it?! After my son completing his urinalysis I handed it to the girl and she said hold on turned around and continued laughing and talking with a co worker then gloved up and took the urine. I was taken back to the room with no further instruction. I waited another 20 minutes with nothing. I finally just fuck it and left. And as I walked out one girl said sooooo cancel your appointment ? Like no shit Sherlock yes cancel it I won't be coming back. I can't stand that provider. Sorry if this offends or hurts anyone but I'm just being honest. I have had to change the referral several times due to some issues with the specialty office I chose but these ladies have done the utmost to help me receive the care I require. My only regret is that I forgot their names but I have dealt with at least two different ladies and they were both so helpful, respectful, and professional.

It's been three requests or more to no avail. I called the doctors office and they're closed before 5 PM which is supposed to be their closing time. This office is not reliable nor professional for reasons I will not get into here. I would advise anyone considering this office to reconsider. It's hard to get referrals as well because it seems like the doctor works with insurance company and does not want to help, especially if you have an HMO. I strongly suggest you consider other options for medical care if you want reliable and active care.

From the initial first call to make my appt as a new customer Ariel is extremely friendly she helped set my appt and explained the process and answered all of my questions she worked with me on setting the perfect appt time and day and such a friendly voice that made me feel comfortable and important (I hate to say this but I did not have the same experience when calling my first referral the office owned by a couple near northgate market, they didn't call me back when I left a msg the phone rang and rang and finally I reached a lady who kind of made me feel unimportant I'm so glad I didn't go with those guys ) I 100% had such an amazing experience at La Habra Hills Optometry. Ariel was helpful, professional, friendly, patient and knowledgeable. When we pulled up to the location in was an older building but once we opened the door to our wow surprise it was a very nice and professional and modern. Ariel was there to great us. She gave me my forms to fill out which I was so thrilled that the forms were easy to fill out and they were laminated and was able to use a dry eraser marker so they save paper I love trees and that was so cool to me the office was so clean and comfortable. My wait wasn't long and Ariel guided me and did my eye exam she had it set up from one station to the next she guided me and made me feel comfortable she was very experienced and so gentle and directive in a kind and professional way. She is such a gentle soul she had a very cool yoda face mask and very cool glasses. She took me thru 3 eye exams she even did a cool blood pressure on my wrist instead of my arm bcus I told her that the one on my arm makes me panic she was so nice. She directed how to put my face on the machine and even the machine that blows air blew so soft and fast it didn't hurt at all. I really enjoyed my eye exam and how Ariel made it so easy and comfortable. Then I went into another room to wait for the dr but I had to go use the restroom Ariel was so nice about it and gave great directions it was right outside the door and it was very clean. When I got back the dr was ready in 5 mins to see me she was very kind quiet and gentle I was scared bcus I knew It had been really needed for me to get glasses after many years. The dr said my eyes look healthy there is nothing behind them or any damage she suggested a physical with my dr to check my blood pressure and for diabetes etc bcus she noticed I hadn't had an appt in a long time besides that she just said that I'm near sided she put the lens googles and helped check each eye and how well I can see. After that I went straight to the front glasses area and Ariel had all of the glasses displayed for me she helped me with chosing what is the most modern and which looks great on me she allowed my bf to come in and help decide too that was so nice. I ended up picking the glasses that she first suggested they really look so cool on me :) so excited also, I opted to get the bifocal n she said she'd make it low for me so it wouldn't be to noticeable and look more chic yes I mean she is so cool :) then she measured my eye distance and face distance to fit perfect she explained the time it would take and she was so Informative modern sweet and super clean she made sure to social distance and sanitize everything. I was so so so satisfied I didn't leave with any unanswered questions :) also, I called her and asked her to send me my rx so I could have it on file. I was so happy to see it in my inbox already by the time I checked my email. I mean how could u not love this place I'm excited to get my new glasses oh and the retinal test does a covid19 text and I'm all clear yaaay. Can't wait til I can get my glasses and be able to drive at night again. I'm so happy seriously I'd give them 10 stars or more very very very satisfied and really was treated extremely well and treated important and special.
