Eric, the PA, took his time to educate me about the circulatory system, why veins need to be treated, and the repercussions of not treating them long term. The ultrasound tech was a pleasure to talk to, and the ma was very friendly as well. Speaking to them made me realize how much info was missing from the previous practice I went to. This should be the standard for all medical practices. I live in buckeye and made the drive out here, and it was worth it. Excited to continue my treatments here Initial call over the phone went well so far. The instructions that the scheduler gave me for what to do before the initial consultation was more thorough than the other vascular surgeon's place I went to in peoria. I asked if previous medical records from there need to be faxed over but they said no. Crossing my fingers that everything goes well!

Apparently No Cameras or Mobile Phone Cameras are permitted. And they recommend you leave jewelry at home. Well on this occasion I actually wore my smart watch and still have my phone. Uh oh! Well let's see where that takes us. So this is the second of three anticipated procedures. This day i was impatiently sitting in reception area waiting for appointment to actually be welcomed into the backroom to begin the routine. Since I had gone through the procedure on one leg already I felt a bit more at ease. Did wish I could have been an early morning patient. My man with the Alice in Wonderland cocktails the first time was great. The person handling that job when my right leg was done wasn't quite the same. But overall it wasn't a bad experience. Need to add, the doc has a pleasant bedside manner and I do recall a nice smile as well. Something I said must've made him grin. My legs are showing visible improvement and discomfort from sitting in some seats has noticably diminished.

After battling various issues for decades, and asking several excellent doctors in CA for help with these issues, they had never considered sending me to a radiologist who specializes in vascular medicine, as Dr. Minkus is exactly that. Stay away from this place! My husband was rescheduled for neuro transmitter surgery in his back…read moredue to neuropathy in his feet and ankles. After two prior reschedules, he was on the table with IV in his arm when the Dr Braun decided he needed a release from Mike's cardiologist. Subsequently, the IV was pulled and he was told to come back with a current echo and release from the cardiologist. All that being said, they only perform the procedure once every two weeks which prolongs his continual severe pain and agony. I need to mention that he had a trial run with the implant procedure 2 weeks prior (per the requirement of the device manufacturer) with no mention of a release form his cardiologist. All went well and the device was very effective in monitoring his pain; he was extremely excited to get the final implant and to be pain free. The staff do not return phone calls and when a patient calls the phone message says to send text. When a text is sent there is no response. Not a good way to do patient care!
