I WOULD NOT TRUST THIS CLINIC WITH MY MEDICATION - CURRENT GOVERNMENT INVESTIGATORS IN PROGRESS FOR DRUG MISHANDLING!
My experience with AZ Wellness was so concerning that I reported the matter to the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy and the Arizona Department of Health Services.
I paid $120 twice, for a total of $240, for NAD+ injections that were supposed to be 50 mg per dose. During the course of treatment, I discovered serious problems with how my medication was prepared and provided to me.
According to what I was told and personally observed, my syringes were not consistently prepared at the prescribed 50 mg dose. I was initially given syringes containing approximately 5 mg instead of 50 mg, meaning I received roughly one-tenth of the dose I had paid for. Later, I was provided additional prefilled syringes that were unlabeled, leaving me without basic identifying information such as the drug name, strength/concentration, preparation date, beyond-use information, or other medication-identification details.
I also personally observed syringes being prepared outside what appeared to be an ISO-classified sterile compounding environment. Because these were injectable products, this raised major concerns for me about medication preparation, labeling, sterility, storage, dosing accuracy, and patient safety.
At one point the clinic also did not have the vial available when I was supposed to receive medication, which disrupted my dosing schedule. After the earlier dosing problem, that made it even more difficult for me to have confidence that what I was receiving was correct.
I repeatedly sought clarification, documentation, and receipts because I wanted a clear record of exactly what had been dispensed to me and at what concentration.
These are not minor customer-service complaints. When a business is providing something intended to be injected into a patient's body, accurate dosing, proper labeling, traceability, and appropriate preparation practices matter enormously.
Because of the seriousness of what I experienced, I have formally reported my concerns to:
* Arizona State Board of Pharmacy
* Arizona Department of Health Services
Those agencies can independently determine whether any laws, regulations, pharmacy standards, licensing requirements, or sterile-compounding requirements were violated. I am not claiming that either agency has reached a conclusion at this time.
I am posting this review because prospective patients deserve to know what happened to me before deciding whether they are comfortable receiving injectable medication from this facility.
After my experience, I would not return, and I cannot recommend AZ Wellness. They have been reported to:
