Great Service, very helpful therapy. I've been going there for several years and will keep coming back because James helps me each time I experience imbalance or tightness. read more

I have been working with James for over 10 years. He has helped my body and physical fitness tremendously and continuoulsy over that time. He always is responsive to and respectful of where I need attention and honest about how I am progressing. On multiple occassions James was able to correct problems that multiple PT's could not figure out. Since I moved out of OC I tried a couple of different rolfers and neither of them matched James' expertise and ability. If you have pain and have not been able to find relief or reliable solutions take the time to see James. read more

Im so grateful I found Rolfing and James (almost 10 years ago.) I would have on and off hip pain and neck pain and tried many different things to help allleviate them without success. Rolfing is the one thing that has helped. I first did a 10 series and would go back periodically for maintenance. I have moved out of the area but make sure to get some sessions when i am in town. I have tried going to other Rolfers and similar styles of body work but James has been the best and most healing! Thank you read more

I had a total right hip replacement in 2019. The next morning following my surgery at 8am, I fell in the bathroom, broke my toe and hit my head. I had a concussion and was in shock. My freshly operated hip's hardware was still in place but I suffered a lot of soft tissue damage. Bedridden for 3 months, my hip healed but I have been suffering from intense hip and back pain ever since. I've tried everything to relieve my pain. I met James early this year. He has changed my life! My pain is almost completely gone. I'm so grateful for him. I highly recommend James. He is intuitive, strong, talented and knows the body structure like no one else! Thank u james!!! read more

James Bardot saved me from the knife. Surgeons wanted to fuse my 3rd & 4th lumbar vertebrae. I was experiencing weakness and muscle atrophy in my right leg. After ten weeks of Rolfing with James and doing the exercises in the book he recommended to me I was in the best physical shape of my life. That was over 15 years ago now and I am still active and surfing all the time. Thank you James! read more

James Bardot is a miracle worker. After my session with him yesterday, I was finally able to sleep without pain killers for the first time in months. I slept very well last night with no pain, and no meds. I am in shock at how the pain disappeared so quickly. I have scheduled another appointment for next week which I can't wait. I highly recommend him to anyone that has been suffering from pain and aches and have tried everything with no relief. You will not be disappointed. I have been going to James Bardot for several years now and have also recommended many of my friends who are athletes to him. For the past 8 months, I have been driving twice a week to Northern California for work. I notice in the last 2 months I am having severe hip pain from sitting at work and sitting for long periods in the car. I am a healthy, and very active person and work out 3-4x a week on my road bike and mountain bike. But I found out my passion for biking is also adding to the pain in my hips by making the hip flexors even tighter. I have tried yoga, stretching, foam roller, gone to a chiropractor, an orthopedic surgeon, physical therapy, deep tissue massage with no relief. It has gotten so bad that I have to take pain killers to sleep at night. I don't want to rely on pain killers for relief. Even walking hurts my hips and lower back because of the tightness. I finally got a break from work and got in yesterday to see James and today I feel like my self again!! read more

I feel so lucky to have found James and to have received his Rolfing therapy. For years my hips have felt tightly locked making it difficult to walk. I did a breast cancer 5K Walk in the fall. Every step of the walk my hips felt like they were encased in concrete. The pain in my hips has kept me awake at night. I have had many sessions with the chiropractor but the relief from the pain in my hips was very temporary. I knew I needed something that addressed the underlying problem. When James observed my walk he noticed that my right leg did not go right out in front of me as I stepped, but came about from behind, then went out to the side before it came forward. And my ankles didn't have full range of movement which was also affecting my walk. In fact my walk was more of a waddle than a smooth stride. After that initial session I felt a sense of being slightly taller. After the second session my legs and ankles were so much looser and my gait became freer, and bigger. By the fourth session after working to loosen my hips James helped me to relearn how to walk properly with spine straight, shoulders relaxed, and allow my hips to move instead of pumping myself forward with my arms. After nine sessions my hips are loose and my stride is smooth. I went to James hoping he could help to alleviate the pain and stiffness in my hips. He did so much more for me. I have more of a sense of being relaxed in my body and have far more energy. read more

I just now stepped out of my final session with James and I couldn't be happier with my experience. James is truly talented and a master of his craft. His knowledge of the body, connective tissue, movement, and overall health and wellness is translated over into his ROLFING practice without missing a step. I feel more limber than I have in years and my posture has improved greatly. I would highly recommend the 10 session program to really gain the most out of the service. Thanks again, James! read more

I recently finished my 10 series with James and feel amazing! He works magic with his intuitive hands and the whole experience has been holistically healing, from relieving chronic inflammation in my knee, to relief in my upper back, and helping me stand, walk, and sit with better posture. I've noticed an improvement in my flexibility, yoga & meditation practice, and simply a greater awareness of my body & what minor adjustments I can make to improve my overall well-being. On top of that, James is an inspiring healer & adventurer with vast experience, knowledge & wisdom to share. I thoroughly enjoyed connecting with him & healing from/learning more about the Rolfing therapy. Look forward to continuing this work with James monthly & highly recommend his services! read more

Where to even begin - I cannot say enough good about James Bardot. He has been a major catalyst in my healing journey and brought to light so many aspects that were holding me back from feeling fully functional in mind, body and spirit. I had some unexpected cathartic releases over issues of the heart from the deep body work, and I must say James was so incredibly present and caring, holding space for me throughout the entire series (10 sessions). Also, I had a car accident in 2016 and suffered a herniated disc in my cervical spine. Every day I was in agony - there was no way I could posture myself at work or position my neck to sleep at night to get relief... but James fixed my neck the first session! Incredible but true! I highly highly recommend this seasoned Rolfer. Simply the best. read more

James is phenomenal at rolfing and has invaluable knowledge and experience. It took him 10 minutes to discover the issues my daughter (16) was having. After only 3 sessions, her PAIN was gone! His prices are reasonable, his demeanor and service impeccable, and the general openness with his home, office, and work space made for an extremely comfortable and delightful experience. ADVICE: USE A PROFESSIONAL WITH THIS KIND OF EXPERIENCE! Rolfing is a serious adjustment to your body. Don't risk it. You will be extremely happy with James Bardot! read more

I was referred to James by a friend about a year ago but only recently started seeing him due to an acute and painful Plantar Fasciitis condition in my left foot. I'm in my mid 50's and was feeling pretty defeated by the aches and pains associated with middle age - not just in my foot, but all over my body. The issue with my foot was the final straw. I had to do something! By the third session, the pain in my foot was reduced to "ghost" pain. Not really there but my brain kept searching for it. Now on my 8th session, I have gotten to the point where I am able to include light jogging in my workout! Not only is my foot better, my entire body feels lighter, taller, mentally clearer and able to get back on track. I highly recommend James. Don't wait for a crisis situation like I did! Your body will thank you for it. read more

Excellent so far! 2 sessions in, of 10. No more painful than deep tissue massage, but FAR more beneficial.

James has changed my body. When looking at myself in pictures I have noticed a huge improvement in my posture. I can actually run without pain and feel balanced and sure footed. I would recommend James to any one looking to heal and correct the effects of old injuries. read more

James is the real deal. I once woke up with a frozen back, unable to get up out of bed. I called him up to see if he could work on me. I literally rolled myself onto the floor and crawled to my car. After managing to get to him and getting an hour and a half treatment, I was able to referee a high school soccer game that afternoon, that went into three overtimes! I went from unable to walk to over two hours of running around within the same day. I can't say enough about his ability to work wonders. I'm not saying you'll get the same level of instant relief that I did, it wasn't 100% but I was able to function. He certainly knows what he's doing. I highly recommend him before you turn to medication or surgery. read more

James is amazing. I tried a couple different rolfers, and he's the best. He is very professional and a skilled rolfer. He provides a comfortable setting and he works hard to make sure your body is feeling better. Save your money on massages and get rolfed. read more

I first saw James for a hip issue that developed after my pregnancy which continued to worsen from carrying a baby around on my hip as well as the physical demands from my work as a Chiropractor. I didn't know much about Rolfing then but sensed my body needed something more than massage or physical therapy. I went through the 10-series with James and my hip problem vanished and has never returned. I've also sent my patients to James who've had equally amazing results. James is extremely knowledgeable and gifted at his trade. Aside from that, he's an all-around great guy. If you haven't gotten relief from other treatments, I urge you to give him a try. I highly recommend him. read more

James is excellent. He did the full 10 sessions on me several years ago, which really improved my flexibility. Then this year I developed tennis elbow and contacted James. He fixed it. He really knows his stuff! I could not recommend him more highly. read more

I used to walk with my feet pointed out to the sides quite a bit, after doing a series of 10 sessions with James my feet pointed directly ahead when I walked.. Sessions can be super painful than the first session left my thighs black and blue, but it was well worth it. Rolfing does what no amount of stretching can do, it breaks up the fascia allowing the body to realign correctly. I used to look forward to my sessions when I did the series, and I plan on doing another series at some point in the future read more

After two sessions I am walking with better balance and swing in my hips which have been locked up most of my life. My steps are much quieter and smoother. James Bardot years of experience are clearly evident in the great results I have seen and felt. Rolfing has helped me more than chiropractic and message. Being an avid horseback rider and snow skier I depend on balance and well functioning muscles. Rolfing keeps me out of pain and in shape to do the things I love. I have been to several Rolfers over the years and James is by far the most experienced. I am looking forward to feeling great results. read more

I saw James 6 years ago and he was miraculous in helping relieve sciatica pain that was consuming every part of my life. One session he asked which how is the sciatica feeling and I couldn't recall which side of my body the pain was on- unbelievable. Unfortunately I had to move and went to other rolfers/chiropractors/phyiscal therapist for the various ailments I continued to do to my body bc I am a moron and kept on pushing the body and not resting and recovering adequately enough - and really none of them came close to the ability of James. I have since moved back and was able to see James again (after shoulder surgery) and was amazed again at his magical touch. Looking back I would have considered scheduling sessions and flying back to Orange County to see him. GOD BLESS THAT MAN!!! read more

I have been so pleased with James and the results I have received from Rolfing. I started going to him after having intense neck/back pain after my daughter was born. I tried physical therapy, massage and even shots in my back. When nothing lasted, I finally decided to research, interview and try rolfing with James. It has been a fantastic experience. James is very professional and intuitive about what he does. James has helped me get out of pain and more importantly I now have more self-awareness about why I get into pain. I would highly recommend James and rolfing to anyone who suffers from body pains. read more

I found out about James from one of my respected senior members from my dojo. I had a injury in my shoulder for more than over 15 years. Tried cortizine, deep tissue massage anti inflammatory med's. Nothing worked. When I met James I just asked him to make it so I could throw a ball with my daughter when she was old enoug. In 8 sessions my shoulder was healed and I can throw a ball overhand again and hard too. I was very impressed. Now I am working with him with another injury. That one is in my leg ankle, knee region. It is improving slowly, but improving. I would highly reccommend him. read more

James and his talent saved my life. Five years ago I came to him in horrible pain. I couldn't even turn my head because of debilitating neck and back pain that had been going on for over a year. After just one session I had mobility back in my neck, the pain was greatly improved, and it felt like I could breathe again. I have done several 10 session series with James and just keep feeling better and better. I plan to continue seeing him for as long as he is working his magic! read more

If you have tried all kinds of solutions to deal with chronic pain then I suggest you consider coming to see James Bardot. After years of chronic neck a lower back/hip issues and very limited success being treated by all kinds of professionals ( chiro, physio, needling etc) I am happy to say I've made significant steps to being pain free through my Rolfing sessions with James. His depth of experience and skills are pretty amazing and I feel extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to benefit from them. read more

I was seeing James Bardot for multiple body injuries. I have been in 2 severe auto accidents and have horrible whip lash and low back pain. James helped me with my low back but he is not good on the neck work at all. I say this after doing about 12 sessions with him. If you have neck injuries I don't recommend him. Otherwise, he is a pretty alright rolfer. My last complaint would be that he doesn't take my schedule very seriously. I showed up 5-10 minutes early every time and I have to wait 5-15 minutes sometimes for my session to start. I have to get back to work, good grief! read more

I had been suffering from re-occurring tendinitis for quite some time with no relief from different practitioners. My whole body seemed out of whack as these pulls and strains began to arise more frequently. In my quest for relief, I learned about Rolfing via the internet and came across James Bardot. I made an appointment and was pleasantly surprised at the results of the 7 sessions I received from James. I found him very professional and well versed in his trade. He offers a discount if you pay for 10 sessions up front or you can pay as you go which I prefer. There was no pressure in booking future appointments. You will know after 3-4 treatments if it's working or not. He also managed to free up other musculoskeletal areas of pain I was experiencing. Rolfing is not a quick fix but a gradual re-alignment of the body that has worked very well for me. I would highly recommend him to others. read more
