Bright's Septic Tank & Sewer Cleaning Service

    (1 review)

Brights Septic & Sewer I've used this company several times,…read morebut never again! PLEASE SHARE AND RESHARE!! I had them out to clear my sewer line, they found nothing and ran into no roots, cost was $200. A month later I'm backed up again. I call and explain the situation asking what can we do about this? I didn't think it was right that I should have to pay again, especially full price. They said they would call me back and let me know. I receive a call 3 hours later from a worker that they're on their way and it would be another $200. I said no, this wasn't discussed & I didn't approve this. I called the Company and was told they would come out again but if they found anything I would have to pay $200, if nothing was found it would be no cost to me. They also said that since I'm so far from the sewer main, over 100ft, that I might need to put in another clean out that's half way between my clean out and the sewer main. They found nothing and they went out 100ft, 20ft more than the initial time they came. The worker called his boss and said that there was a blockage within a few feet of the clean out but was unsure why or what was causing this. He was told that I needed my clean out repaired and they would need to come out and use a camera to find the issue but this wouldn't be a 'freebie'. Here's where it gets interesting..... They were the ones that installed my clean out AND replaced several feet of sewer line, less than 3 years ago! Now.....why would you install the clean out next to the house KNOWING how far from the sewer main I am?? They then argued that they weren't the ones that even installed the clean out, saying they would have to dig through years of paperwork to find out for sure. Once the worker left I called the company myself and let them know the exact date this was done and asked how we could get this resolved. I let them know that this was the 3RD time I've had to have my line cleared since they installed the clean out. I was told someone would get back with me. Now, 13 days later I get a call from Travis... He was very polite but began this conversation with, "Presumably we MIGHT have installed the clean out several years ago." Uhm, excuse me?! You DID install the clean out! He then went on telling me that, "I had a bad attitude and that maybe we should start this conversation over." I said sure, let's do that! He said, "Okay, we installed a clean out and your having issues with it." I said, "Yes, you did this in January of 2021." He then went on saying how rude I was and that I needed to change my attitude or he wasn't going to help me out. (All I had said was they were the ones that installed the clean out and they were acting like they didn't, I even asked if he'd like to see the paper!) He then went on to say he didn't have to be talked to 'this way' and maybe I should be nicer if I wanted his help. Then hung up on me.
