Aaron Brown came out and did an estimate for a battery back up sump pump and a new on demand tankless hot water system. Very, very professional. Reviewed all my options. Knowledgeably answered a long list of questions. Really helped me to choose the best option for my home. Also gave a lot of consideration to the aesthetics of how the system would be vented from my home. Really took his time so that all of the options could be considered. I could not be happier with the excellent decision support or the price he managed to work out for me! Matt Jourdan also came out and measured my entire house, inspected the current system and ducting, and invested almost 4 hours in designing the best heating and cooling system for my home. He even chatted on the phone with my wife to answer her questions. Then he managed to arrange for the entire system to be installed just 2 days later because our old system had failed and it was in the 90's. This guy really cares about what he is doing and cares to do it even better than right. Yesterday, Craig Smalley and Andrew Hollingsworth showed up and spent 10 straight hours removing my old system, repairing my ducting, upgrading my electrical service and plumbing the natural gas, not to mention the actual installation of the AC unit and furnace. They even upgraded the system for air quality with a state of the art REME-Halo air purification system for a great price when excessive mold was found inside of my duct work! When the installation team left, you'd never have had a clue that the entire house was a construction site earlier in the day. They left my home in an impeccable state and I slept the first night in absolute comfort. Dustan Starns is sui generis -- species by himself. It's as if this qualified HC/HV guy also went to an HR and customer relations school. Professional and personal in one employee--quite a find. It also struck me that he was rather positive about his company's owners. Too often we hear the opposite, and this positive attitude seems a constant with Summers employees. Nope, they are not always the cheapest, but sure are reliable. Clean. Not sure what happens with these Yelp reviews but hope he's encouraged and treated like a king. We have well water that requires a water softener, and both our softener and water heater were getting very old and inefficient. Summers came to our house and put in a new, tankless water heater and a new water softener that work beautifully. We never run out of hot water now, our softener uses very little salt (without leaving any rust stains), and our energy use is much lower with those two items than it was before. The company also moved another item related to our pump. They did not finish until everything had been checked carefully and the whole area was absolutely spotless. Love this company! read more

We've had two of their technicians (Tobias B and John B) to our home to work on our furnace and water heater, and both times they've been nothing but professional and courteous. My grandparents have used Summers as well, and they're old-school, so you know they're really impressed when they mention how polite someone is. Easy to make appointments, timely arrival (which is important when I'm taking time off work!), and friendly and knowledgeable technicians. We have had Summers do both plumbing and heating and air work for us many times, and have never had any problems with them. On the contrary, they have been very professional and helpful. The current furnace that we have is the most efficient that we have ever had. It is not hot to the touch, probably because it is so efficient. We had some extremely cold days this winter, but the furnace kept our old farmhouse at a warm and even heat. It is, indeed, the best furnace that we have ever had! They came out that day, made a special trip to Indy to pick up a new furnace and had us hooked up and running later that evening! Not sure why this was not added earlier, but this review is from February of 2016 Summer's has impressed me with their HVAC knowledge and their ability to satisfy not just my household, but hearing others talk about their experience, other households as well! I had a cracked heat exchanger, and the technician found it and stayed as long as it took to get that furnace out and get the new one installed. our Central A/C unit stopped working on Sunday (Memorial Day weekend). I called Summers PHC at 5:30 PM that same day. By 6:30 PM a Technician was at my door to check out the A/C problem. By 7:30 PM the problem was fixed and we had A/C again! This entire Service Call on a Memorial Day Sunday cost me a total of $59.00 for the Service Call and repair!
