All of the reviews are true!…read more I recently got a tint job and remote car starter for my Honda Accord, and after doing research around this area, this was the only place I even considered going. Mike and his team do THE best work at reasonable prices. The quality is worth every penny. They were highly responsive and communicative, and were able to get me in the shop fairly quickly. They offer a variety of remote car starters based on your needs and budget, and they take the time to talk you through the options they offer, ask questions about your needs and wants to help them understand what to recommend, and answer any remaining questions you have. I have seen their thorough and STELLAR work on interior lighting, audio/bluetooth systems, and high quality window tinting. I look forward to working with them for future upgrades to my car. Sound in Motion is the best! I have nothing but great things to say about them…read more I recently had a state-of-the-art BlackVue dash cam installed in my car by Sound in Motion. While I normally spend a lot of time researching purchases and services before making a decision, I had heard so many positive things about Sound in Motion that I simply asked Jim Cavanaugh, the store manager, for his recommendation. I trusted Jim's expertise completely, and that decision proved to be 100% correct. Jim, Sound in Motion owner Derek Kenney, and one of their highly skilled technicians worked on my vehicle, and the results were spectacular. The BlackVue Elite 10 dash cam they installed is outstanding, and the installation itself was flawless, professional, and pristine. When it comes to car audio and video in New England, I can't think of anyone better than Sound in Motion. What surprised me even more was learning that Sound in Motion is also a high-end detailing shop. While I was there, I watched their expert detailer work her magic on a large 2019 SUV. After performing paint correction and applying a ceramic coating, the vehicle looked better than new. I was genuinely amazed by her skill, work ethic, and attention to detail. During a brief conversation, it was clear that she is passionate about her craft, and that dedication is reflected throughout the entire organization. I truly can't say enough good things about Sound in Motion. As someone who remembers the former Watertown, Massachusetts audiophile institution, Rich's Car Tunes, I wouldn't have thought it possible for another shop to fill that role. Yet, Sound in Motion has done exactly that. First-class service, first-class workmanship, and first-class people. Sound in Motion has earned my highest recommendation.

I came to Micorp Custom Auto for the latter and boy...they did NOT disappoint! I was impressed with these dudes almost from the very start due to their wicked fast responsiveness. After sending out my "Yelp feelers" (as I do) to gather some quotes, they were basically the ONLY business to reply with an actual, tangible price. Meanwhile, one business replied with (I kid you not), "Yes, I can install that for you."...which told me absolutely nothing. At another point, I thought I would go with Boomer Nashua since they were closer to us. But after getting NO response from neither their Yelp mailbox nor a direct email via their site, it was clear I needed to seek greener pastures. But, I digress. MCAT's location is a quaint little shop that's a bit tucked in with a street sign so small, you'll miss it if you blink once (or at least, I did). They're open only on weekdays, but their results are second to none. Now, I had already successfully (not to mention painfully) installed a custom fitted front dash cam in my car. I needed a rear cam installed by a professional who knows how to hardwire a cable with the utmost subterfuge. Recognizing such a task was clearly above my pay grade, I deferred to MCAT's expertise. Sufficed to say, these guys rock! They gave me an hourly rate upfront (which came to $150 per hour). And for those wondering, they do offer a lot of their own parts, though it looks to be mainly audio accessories and other things. Let my experience be proof, however, that you can totally show up with your own technical inventory and have them install it for you. At which point, you need only consider the labor cost. This is the most bottom line, upfront pricing I've ever seen and it's awesome! Why can't more businesses be this straight forward? Anyone who needs some type of electronic item installed onto their vehicle, I'd highly recommend this place right here. Just describe to them precisely what you need and they'll give you a quote with an ETA to boot. Also, shout out to the technicians on site that day for being so chill. I'm giving Micorp Custom Auto & Truck 5 rear dash cams mounted with stellar precision out of 5.
