Dennis and Angela made sure we got our a/c working even though it was already after midnight. Our a/c went out today and with it being in the 90s even late at night we were pretty worried, even more so after calling all around and being told it would be at least a day till someone could come look. Dennis and Rudy drove down to Sierra Vista from Tucson and installed new vent covers that could be adjusted for our heating and cooling prefences. They were very friendly, professional and Dennis gave us recommendations on.addressing future needs after adding on to our existing home. This man is an expert with a wealth of knowledge! No " Let me think about it and get back to you," etc. I should also mention that the the total cost for todays installation with labor came under his initial qoute he gave us when he was first here and installed the new HVAC in December 2025. I recently experienced a broken A/C during a very hot spell on a Saturday. Advanced Heating & Air was able to respond to my request for service in less than 2 hours and resolved my issue in about 30 minutes upon arrival. The technician (Tavian) was very professional and courteous, even explaining to me the issue and fix. The office dispatcher/VP (Angela) was also very kind and professional during this stressful ordeal. She even provided me different service options which reduced the cost to me and provided me a peace of mind for future maintenance issues. After getting home from a long drive from California I reallized my AC was not functioning and my place was like an oven, so I immediately called Angela the VP of Advanced Heating & Air, and she was on it! Her guys Sean and Tavian came over within and hour and got me a temporary cooling unit, so I at least could sleep for the night! Then on the next morning Sean and Tavian came back as they promised and hooked me up with a new capacitor which brought my AC back to life! Now everything is very cool! tl;dr: Super honest, on time, highly reputable and reasonable. Everything you can hope for in a local business. I contacted them last summer when our A/C fritzed out at night. The owner leveled with me that her crew wouldn't be able to get the parts I needed at night especially bec. distribution lines were chaotic at the beginning of the pandemic and told me I'd end up paying a premium for them to show up at 10 pm. The crew showed up the next day at the normal rate and I'm hiring them every year now to perform proactive maintenance on our units. read more

The lack communication holds me back from a better raiting. They say they'll be there at a certain time & then don't show up! We were given a time frame of btwn 8-12 to fix our a/c yesterday, they didn't show up til 4. If they had juat called and said the jobs in front of us are running long, it would take care of so much wonder if what is goikg on. Then, they still couldn't fix it because they needed to gey the part! So he said they'll come back this morning btwn 10-11. Again, they didn't come by until after 12. Mike finally gets a call right now from them saying they had to put somebody ahead of us bc they were an elderly couple who couldn't get out of the house, understandable.Ok, that's fine but don't wait until 11:45 to call. Again, just a quick text would save so much wonder. They came out on a Saturday and fixed the problem with the Ac. I am happy about that. It's just a little communication would go so far. read more

My AC unit was leaking onto my wood floor, warping the wood, on a Friday night. I called Advanced Heating & Air first thing Saturday morning, and Angela was a lifesaver. She talked me off the edge and helped to stop the water leaking over the weekend. They came to my home Monday and did some more work on the unit. Today, the technicians from Advanced who were at my house working on my air let my dogs out and didn't see fit to let me know it happened and the only reason I found out is because a neighbor called me to tell me she found one of the dogs (but that he'd been taken by a man who said he belonged to him. This, fortunately, was one of the techs who was taking him back to my yard, but you can imagine the terrible things I was thinking (like some random man stole my dog). But the other dog was still loose. ...and the company still found no reason to call me. In fact, they'd already left my house at that point. And left my one dog still missing. This was an hour after their arrival. My fear (on top of one my dogs being hit by a car) is that the company NEVER would have told me my dogs got loose. I would have come home from a full day of work to discover one of my dogs missing, and the company never would have admitted that they were there when my dogs got loose. While I can understand that perhaps there is an argument that could be made that it is my fault that my animals were not more confined, I think the LITERAL LEAST thing the company could have done was notify SOMEONE that the dogs were loose so I could come get them. As it was, I had to leave work early, race home, and spend the entire drive envisioning my dogs dead in the road. Additionally, they left garbage in my yard. They also left my home unlocked when they left. Considering I had to leave them a key to get through my security door to get INTO my locked house, there is certainly no reason why they couldn't have locked it behind them. All of these things, however, pale in comparison (for me) to the danger my dogs could have been in. Both dogs have now been found and are fine. But no one in Tucson should use Advanced Heating and Air. Frankly, if I could give this company less than one star, I would. read more

I want to give a big shout out to this organization. We had the best customer service experience that I have received in the past decade. They installed a new HVAC unit for us in November, everything went great. We recently had a gas company tech out to look at some things and he inspected the furnace unit and made an observation that I followed up on with their receptionist to create a service call. Within 3 hours I had a call from their VP Angela, lining up the resources for the next day. Once they completed the work, she called me back with detailed information on the work (it did not need to be done but they re-did it anyway and added an extra step for visual ID purposes in the future). Professional, courteous and timely, I simply could not ask for anything more. I highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a new HVAC system. read more

They're ok. They were recommended by another company I tried to book with but were too busy. Basically I had been through a horror story with a different company (Orangutan home services-- NEVER EVER USE THEM, but maybe recommend them to your worst enemy) who has been the only one servicing my air-conditioning for the past nine years. I got renters into my house who reported having issues, and my normal company had been out recently so obviously they couldn't fix the issue, so that's when I looked for another company. These guys came out and basically said the first air conditioner was not put together correctly, which I'm not surprised actually, and they did some work on it to try to fix it. Unfortunately this ended up causing a huge leak in my attic which then caused a hole in my ceiling. I'm not going to argue that this was their fault since it wasn't put together correctly by the first company to begin with, but they def could have been more communicative. They were supposed to help me find another company to fix the hole, for which they offered and then I followed up asking for the information twice, and never heard back. This actually ended up preventing me from being able to file an insurance claim, as I found out later. Plus it was over a month from when they started working on the problem to when they finished it with next to zero communication unless I called them. Overall they finished it for less than I thought and it seems to be working well now, and they didn't try to upsell me on anything I didn't need, which I obviously appreciate. I just wish the communication had been better & the "hole" situation had been handled better. And they are light years better than Orangutan. read more

Just wanted to take a moment and say thank you to Dennis and his crew. Our AC went out on Saturday afternoon. My wife called advanced and talked to Dennis. It was late in the day, he said that everyone had just gone home but that he would come over and take a look. After performing a few tests (and explaining to me) it was apparent that the compressor was locked up. Dennis gave me some options, I opted to have the unit replaced. Dennis gave me an estimate off the top of his head, which was really close. On the day of install they showed up on time and performed the complete ac/furnace install without stopping. (It was 105 degrees out-95 in the house) they finished the job right at about the time Dennis said they would. It has been about 3 hours since the unit was turned on and it is working great. While we were preparing to sell our Tucson Home, our 3 1/2 ton Trane XL14i air conditioner died (100 degree day of course). We had it diagnosed by Rite Way who wanted $4650 to replace the compressor and recharge it with R22. A friend recommended Advanced Heating and Air so we called Angela and Dennis who moved some work around and came out the day after we asked. Dennis and Sean pulled the old unit out, set a new compressor, recharged the system with R44b (newly approved substitute, much cheaper and safer than R22) and got the whole system operating flawlessly during a brutally hot day. While they were here, I asked them to look at the other AC unit, a Trane XL19i, just to be sure it would be OK. They immediately noticed a bulging run capacitor which tested bad and quickly replaced it, restoring smooth operation. Total bill for 1 compressor change, complete recharge, complete checkout of another unit, capacitor replacement and functional test of both units was $2625. Pretty amazing given this was a 5+ hour job in 100 degree heat. The units now operate flawlessly! Great folks, outstanding workmanship. read more
