This is the most unprofessional construction business I have ever dealt with…read more They came to my home for an ESTIMATE and were recommended by my insurance company (State Farm.) This estimate was for a small laundry room (4'x6') with water damage that came from the upstairs unit a month prior. This was not an emergency call and they scheduled it for a few days later. They were at my home for 15 minutes total. The guys showed up and took a few photos while I explained the main damage I was concerned with was the swollen exterior door and trim. The water had caused this door to not shut. I also pointed out the light fixture no longer worked as well as damage to drywall. They stayed 15 minutes. No restoration work. No paperwork, no signatures from me NO WORK RENDERED, just an estimate. They sent the repair estimate directly to my insurance company. They included FALSE photos on my estimate for "PPE equipment" that were used at someone else's house. They did not use that equipment at my house, nor were the photos even FROM my home, they were obviously tagged on from a different job site. I advised my insurance of this, then I realized that the estimate they provided was completely lacking in total. They omitted the damage to the door, which was the first thing I showed them and accounted for over half of the cost of final repairs. I had to go back and forth with my insurance company for MONTHS in order to get a corrected estimate since ServPro left off all the VISIBLE door/trim and electrical repairs/damage. Six months later, my first direct contact from this company, I get a screaming phone call from a woman named Kathy who says I owe her, $194.40 for "WATER RESTORATION" I told her NO water restoration was performed, I never signed a contract with her company, and they were only at my house for 15 minutes for an ESTIMATE which was shoddy, inaccurate, and incomplete! Two days later (6+ MONTHS after the estimate) I get a demand letter in the mail from Kathy at ServPro THREATENING TO TAKE ME TO COLLECTIONS. Now, mind you, this is the first and only bill I ever received from this backwards company. They want $194.40 for a 15 minute estimate. I never agreed to work from them, only for a FREE ESTIMATE. I was never advised that I would need to pay for PPE that was not used on my job or that they charged $200 for a 15 minute estimate. I attempted to call the owner of the company, Glenn Padilla, and was assured he would return my call that day. I wanted to talk with him before I wrote this review. Guess what? He never called me back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They do horrible work (even for an estimate) and are lazy and inaccurate. They also refuse to call back and will send collections letters for work they DID NOT EVEN PERFORM. I would give them negative stars if I could.

We had a leak from our master bathtub into our kitchen downstairs through a can light. He recommended Clear Coast Restoration. It was another week or so before we called them and they said they could come out the following Saturday. It had been a very slow dripping leak so we weren't too worried but they called back a couple days later asking if they could come later in the evening the next day to make sure there wasn't any major damage. Dillan (sp?) drove all the way from Rancho Cucamonga on a Monday night at 6pm to come and check this out! We live in Rancho Santa Margarita and despite the similar name, they are NO WHERE NEAR EACH OTHER! He was so kind and tested for moisture both upstairs and downstairs and even answered some questions I had about a creaky, warped floor. He had an ugly commute to our house and then drove all the way home for NO business! He was so kind and I felt so bad for having him drive all the way out here, only to find everything was totally dry! If we ever have a leak or restoration work that needs to be done, we know who we're calling. If they put this much effort into a possible job, I can only imagine the quality of their customer care when it's a real test of their craftsmanship. My original kitchen had relatively new pecan cabinets which were taken out of my house and which had instructed the manager that I would put them in my garage for storage. The these were custom built cabinets. I repeatedly told the manager I would not sell them. When I inquired about their whereabouts, I get no answer. Those cabinets cost me $5000. They put in the cheapest cabinets Home Depot sells which are. Not even properly in-stalled and chip very easily and are difficult space wise. I paid them $16,000 to redo my master bath. The owner,Chuba, laughed at me when I asked for a list of items to be installed. He also had the painter water down the paint to make it stretch to cover the whole area. It's the poorest job I've ever seen. A tiled shower has had 4 attempts to finish the caulking unit and there are 4 different colors of compound used. I had 2 newer toilets they took out and replaced them with the cheapest possible ones. The owner is not honest. He fought with me when I would bring up problems and would never replace what he took out. I'm sure they were used elsewhere. I live alone and had no help at my age 85 to get things done properly. So I sit here in a house that the walls need painting, toilets are not very functional, and everything they did was poor quality. Oh I could go but you have the idea.
