Drew and his team finished within our tight time frame, despite the fact that we added an exterior project partway through the renovation. Drew's process worked well for us - a few initial walk-throughs, then he brought in his designer to hear our needs and ideas, and she drew up floor plans while Drew created the detailed budget estimate. We sourced many things ourselves (light fixtures, vanities, tile, etc), and Drew was flexible and helpful during that process. Project manager Lisa is a dream to work with throughout the nitty-gritty parts of a renovation - great at keeping the crew and subcontractors on schedule, and readily responsive to all our texts and emails with questions or minor changes to the plan. Lead carpenter Mike and the rest of the crew were excellent, and had the carpentry skills to do several custom projects as part of the reno that give our home a craftsman feel, including adding built-ins in the closets, making a door for a unique linen closet, an old-fashioned transom window in the bathroom, and a beautiful solid wood shelf in our mudroom. My checks cleared the banks without issue and never had a problem with them. It's as if they are ignoring me. Unfortunately, when this happens The review goes from 5 star to a 1 star. I don't get it; at least call me back and tell me they're not interested in the new project. At least give me a reason! Did my house January 2025. Not the quality I expected for the inflated price. They'll blame the…read morepoor, sloppy quality to lighting and say sanding to smooth the walls down is not included in the price. The reason we hired professionals is to smooth down the walls before painting. Even the owner admitted their painters didn't meet their expectations. The owner said his cost is comparable to the surrounding areas. That's fine BUT the contracted painters they hired are warm bodies, not professional painters. The painters rushed the job so they can get paid and move on. The owner said he has to pay insurance in case the painters fall. Mental note: cut out the middle person and hire an experienced painter who owns his company to come out and paint with his crew. Also can inspect and supervise/guide his painters throughout the job. I was told I'd receive white-glove service but they dumped a bucket of water with paint debris on my patio. I'm still trying to take the paint stains off my patio, paint drippings on the floor edges/floors and paint rollers in the paint jars were left for me to clean. Their old Ashburn site on yelp states permanently closed but the old reviews are familiar to my experience. If they closed and reopened- the poor quality has not changed.
