I am posting the following on behalf of my mother who had the work done in Reston VA…read more "Nautilus Builders, Inc. was recommended to me for the remodel of my small bathroom  The job consisted of replacing  an old clawfoot bathtub  with a shower stall and  tiling over an old  concrete floor.  The project - though small - turned out to be a challenge due to the bathroom's location on the fourth floor of a 1967 high rise. Nautilus builders did an excellent job even when I changed my mind about decisions that had just been reached the prior day.  Bob took the time and effort to properly deal with his workers, subcontractors, and suppliers and to accommodate me and my changes.  Bob's plumber, Diego Sanchez, of Sanz Plumbing did a great job drilling through a concrete floor to uncover and replace a p-trap. He coordinated with the building maintenance concerning necessary water shutoffs and other precautions. Augustin, who handled the framing of the shower stall as well as all the tiling, is a rare craftsman.  His skill, precision workmanship, and dedication to the project are unsurpassed. All through the remodeling process communication was excellent. Bob stopped by regularly to check with his workers and to check in with me. His stated goal was for me be completely happy with the completed project. In this he succeeded. M3 Restoration took advantage of my mother and failed to honor the refund on the remaining balance of money owed. My mother hired M3 Restoration and trusted them to act professionally and to do professional work. M3 Restoration is far from professional and very dishonest. M3 Restoration purchased material for the repair and has yet to provide any receipts despite multiple requests. M3 Restoration did a horrible plumbing repair resulting in additional damage which my mother had to hire a licensed plumber and HVAC professional to repair. M3 Restoration made 3 payment arrangements with my mother to return her money and then failed to honor it. They have even attempted to separate themselves from their own project supervisor to avoid payment. SAD! All of the work, invoices, and materials were purchased and approved by M3 Restoration. You also need to know, Dear Reader, that according to the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulations, based on their license M3 Restoration should have NEVER accepted this repair job in the first place. In what world does M3 Restoration think it's ok to come into a sick person's home, sign up for a job they aren't even qualified for, accept payment for materials and labor, keep receipts for materials purchased, do a crappy job on repairs (we have pictures and video) cause additional damage to the home and fail to pay the full refund to the homeowner. The first cleaing was 3 out of 5 star. But I was ok with that, I thought ok... her attitude is…read moregood... so I will call her again for cleaning. Second time when we scheduled the cleaning it became a NIGHTMARE. If you want 'peace of mind' find other cleaning services. 1) She was scheduled to clean on 9/12/23. I clarified with her a week before, and again the night before (on 9/11 at 6pm she responded ok for 8am on 9/12/23). On 9/12 morning schedule time comes 8am (when she said she will come) -- no update...an hour late no update...no text response...no call response..around 10:30am she says she can do only on that Thursday... 2) I moved many meetingg including my managers meeting and other meetings to make Thursday work for her, even though Friday would have worked better. I let her know that we cleaned up all 3 bathroom sink area, top of bereau and kicthen counters so that it's easy for her to clean...we had all those stuff in boxes for 3 days... 3) Wednesday evening again I confirm the time with her. She says yes to the time and date for Thursday-9/14/23. Same story happens again on Thursday morning! Just like the one on Tuesday-9/12/23. Time comes and goes she's not there, she is unavailable via chat and call...... Save yourself all those hassles and get a DIFFERENT cleaning services. You WILL have PEACE OF MIND with someone else who can keep their words and don't respect your time over and over again.....Most importantly someone who is reliable and keep their words!!! ** If she had urgent things happening which at times we all do. Only thing I needed her to do is send a one liner text!!!

Communication with the company has not been good since asking them to come back and fix and install lights with actual permanent bracket solution (which came in box with lights). Realize it is a busy time of year but also not a great start to doing business. original - They installed Govee Permanent outdoor lights on our house just in time for the holidays! they did a fantastic job getting us scheduled within a few days! The tech went over the process, talked through how he would manage the power for the separate sections, and then installed the entire front of our house in just under 2 hours. He was very friendly and on time. we will likely use their business for other things in the future as well.
