I picked it up before taking to get altered, and the owner brought the dress to my car, saying she didn't want me to put wrinkles in it. I got to the alterations place and realized there were stains on the inside of the dress that were not there when I dropped it off to be cleaned. I called and explained this to the owner, who then claimed the stains were there when she received the dress and that she couldn't get them out. (They were in fact NOT there when I dropped it off, and if that were the case, why would she not say anything to me when I picked up the dress?) Now realizing the whole reason she walked the dress out to the car for me was because she didn't not want me to see the dress, I drove back to her business and demanded a refund. The full amount was $180, but she then refused to refund me the full amount, and took twenty dollars off for a shawl part of the dress that was detachable- which was NOT a separate charge on the receipt, but was included in the $180. So she essentially stained my wedding dress, lied about it, and refused to pay me back the full amount. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN, AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU.

But even after having I tailored at Tangs, the over all cost was less than the original retail price of the jacket ($250), yet now is a perfect fit. There is seriously something to having your clothes fit you instead of the mannequin. (previous review below) Fast efficient friendly service, a great experience. After having fair to midland tailoring from suit shops, I decided to purchase a couple of suits that would need tailoring but did not get the suit shop's tailor. Instead this time I decided I would spend the extra money to have the suits tailored by a specialist. It turned out to be a great decision. Best fit I have ever had since I bought a custom suit when I was in my 20s. My fitting was not only accurate, but educational. Ms. Byrom's expert eye applied, offered that the suit jacket would be best fitted by rotating the arms, adjusting the sides, the back, the length. It was what I considered a renovation... it just happened to use the same material. When I noted this, Ms. Byrom said, "well, that's exactly how you should buy your suits... by the material" and she proceed to educate me on the art of tailoring. It was fascinating, even with tips on where and most importantly *when* to by suits and what labels to watch which use the best materials. The fitting seemed to be over before I noticed. When a suit fits well, you can "feel" it. I really didn't want to wear my other suits afterwords. (I have a couple of jackets that need Ms. Byrom's attention now...) In wearing the rebuilt suites, I have received a number of complements from both men and women. There are times when looking your best really counts. A great haircut, some svelte shoes polished to perfection, a well-cut suit tailored by Tang's and you can't go wrong.

I walk in and see them sitting around on their phones and circled up talking. I wouldn't care if I didnt get dirty clothes back repeatedly now. I finally got fed up and recently had my husband come and ask them bringing the clothing items back and they said it was due to the dress having a safety pin holding a piece of the dress together. If they couldn't do it for that reason, when I picked it up the first time I should've been informed and received a credit. It took my husband going and asking about it before they explained why it still smelled dirty / wasn't washed and they finally provided a credit. I'm convinced they don't actually clean a lot of the items. Sometimes things still have stains on it, then I clean it at home and the stain comes out. I don't recommend this spot, might be cheap but the service and quality is lacking. I've also paid to get something sewed together since they offer that service and that part of the dress came off the next time I wore it at an event.
