He recommended three testing companies. We got the testing done and Wes reviewed the report and indicated that the mold levels didn't merit remediation. He explained thoroughly the process and expected value, and helped us decide that the potential gain probably wasn't worth the cost. I actually had him do a site visit (very reasonable trip cost), just to be sure, and it confirmed our decision. Net it out, integrity and ethics. Would be my first call for any job in his category.

But when it came to the repair, they did the bare minimum or less. They failed to replace the insulation that was pulled out to allow for the drying. I asked if they did and they said yes, but when I looked I found they did not. I reached out to the office and they said they would address it. Other things were promised but not done. When a cut to the drywall in the ceiling was done, a lot of insulation fell out. They used their drying machine which blew more insulation out and also away. When I asked about replacing that insulation, I was told it would be done after the dry wall repair. They did not. When I called, they said I didn't lose any insulation. The person that made that statement never looked at the attic or the hole, so not sure how they made that determination. Overall: If you have an issue, they seemed good with responding and sorting it. When it comes to repairs, find another contractor. I think they are too busy and too focused on responding to the emergencies.

We were very patient and were kind to them but the owners turned on us suddenly. We had picked out all of the items needed and were very happy to wait. They took all of the rebuild money and ran and we waited several months before they returned our personal items. Incredible commitment and customer service!…read more We bought an existing house in Winchester, VA and the previous owners had an incredible affinity for mothballs. The odor was overwhelming (to the point that some would-be buyers wouldn't even enter the home), but we figured mitigation would be easy. We were wrong. Emily (owner) helped us create a plan of action: we removed and replaced older carpet/padding, repainted the entire house, and had Voda perform two services: sanitize the remaining (newer, serviceable) carpeting and perform an ozone treatment. While all this effort knocked down much of the offensive odor, it was not eliminated. Emily then came up with a second course of action: ductwork cleaning/disinfecting and a "cherry bomb" deodorizing treatment - this time focusing the treatment on the areas where the carpeting was not replaced. After these four treatments, we can now live in our home and plan to host Thanksgiving for our family. During these treatments, ALL Voda representatives were very respectful of our house, wearing booties whenever they entered, and were extremely professional and knowledgeable. Given the stubbornness of the extreme odor, Emily also discounted the followup services - which we greatly appreciated. Overall, I highly recommend Emily and her Voda team of technicians if you have any kind of specialized cleaning needs. She and her team will pull out all the stops until you are happy with the results.

It's also funny that they are pretending the owners care because I called corporate and the owners were supposed to call us and never bothered. Basically this company avoids talking to you so they can lie about what happened. They then did damage and said things were broken before and they would send pictures to prove it.
