I did not want to disclose my insurance company and felt this was not a factor in getting an estimate. I told them I did not want to be gauged based on my insurance company and did not feel this was something they needed to know right off for an estimate. I was put on hold for the 2nd time and waited again and she came back and said they were not interested in doing business with me! He recommended three testing companies. We got the testing done and Wes reviewed the report and indicated that the mold levels didn't merit remediation. He explained thoroughly the process and expected value, and helped us decide that the potential gain probably wasn't worth the cost. I actually had him do a site visit (very reasonable trip cost), just to be sure, and it confirmed our decision. Net it out, integrity and ethics. Would be my first call for any job in his category.

M3 Restoration took advantage of my mother and failed to honor the refund on the remaining balance of money owed. My mother hired M3 Restoration and trusted them to act professionally and to do professional work. M3 Restoration is far from professional and very dishonest. M3 Restoration purchased material for the repair and has yet to provide any receipts despite multiple requests. M3 Restoration did a horrible plumbing repair resulting in additional damage which my mother had to hire a licensed plumber and HVAC professional to repair. M3 Restoration made 3 payment arrangements with my mother to return her money and then failed to honor it. They have even attempted to separate themselves from their own project supervisor to avoid payment. SAD! All of the work, invoices, and materials were purchased and approved by M3 Restoration. You also need to know, Dear Reader, that according to the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulations, based on their license M3 Restoration should have NEVER accepted this repair job in the first place. Incredible commitment and customer service!…read more We bought an existing house in Winchester, VA and the previous owners had an incredible affinity for mothballs. The odor was overwhelming (to the point that some would-be buyers wouldn't even enter the home), but we figured mitigation would be easy. We were wrong. Emily (owner) helped us create a plan of action: we removed and replaced older carpet/padding, repainted the entire house, and had Voda perform two services: sanitize the remaining (newer, serviceable) carpeting and perform an ozone treatment. While all this effort knocked down much of the offensive odor, it was not eliminated. Emily then came up with a second course of action: ductwork cleaning/disinfecting and a "cherry bomb" deodorizing treatment - this time focusing the treatment on the areas where the carpeting was not replaced. After these four treatments, we can now live in our home and plan to host Thanksgiving for our family. During these treatments, ALL Voda representatives were very respectful of our house, wearing booties whenever they entered, and were extremely professional and knowledgeable. Given the stubbornness of the extreme odor, Emily also discounted the followup services - which we greatly appreciated. Overall, I highly recommend Emily and her Voda team of technicians if you have any kind of specialized cleaning needs. She and her team will pull out all the stops until you are happy with the results.

We get NO COMMUNICATION from Paul Davis. We have to chase them down when we have questions and then Paul Davis always says they will call us back... fat chance of that ever happening. They are very secretive when it comes to pricing and will not supply us with a detailed invoice with costs. (I have been trying to figure out if I paid for a new vanity when they reused my old one) The only reason we used Paul Davis was because our insurance company recommended them.
