Waited a month and no response - they do not stand behind their work product. The contractors response presents a incorrect picture of any interactions we had. I was never told the area needed to be repaved, in fact I was told they could fix it. The contractor never agreed to come out and fix cracks, but did agree to come out and look at the issues. The original review on Thumbtack was posted on Sept 10, 2025, so after 7 weeks, I think I have been extremely patient. Trying to blame the customer for contractor unresponsiveness should be a warning sign to all

The quality of their work really stands out--our asphalt looks smooth, clean, and built to last. They took the time to explain the process, answered every question, and made sure we were completely satisfied before wrapping up. What impressed me most was their attention to detail and the pride they take in their craftsmanship. It's rare to find a company that combines great communication, fair pricing, and top-tier workmanship, but Belchers Asphalt does exactly that. Not all roofing companies have your best interest in mind. As a matter of fact, some like High…read morePoint Roofing have proven they are more interested in getting a new roof and commission rather than an honest assessment of an existing roof. My house was on the market, and the buyer wanted a roof inspection and called High Point Roofing. I had no problem with the inspection and personally have over 40 years of construction experience. The report came back that there was one missing shingle, exposed nail heads on the ridge vent, rubber cracking on pipe vent, two popped nails on garage section, discoloration on front slop shingles and some granular loss as found in guttering (these repairs were simple and would take no more than one hour to repair). This 23-year-old roof expert concluded that the 30-year architectural shingle that was approximately 23 years old only had a "maximum of 1-2 Years Left of Life" and that the roof needed replaced (Notice the caps used to demand attention and generate fear). In all of my years of dealing with inspectors I have never had one offer such a precise life expectancy, only High Point Roofing. Needled to Say the Buyer wanted a new $20,000.00 roof at the Sellers expense. I'm perfectly fine with fixing problems when necessary and needed. In this case it was an egregious attempt to put on new roof that wasn't necessary. I called Antony Regalbuto one of the owners, about his inspector and report. He reported key problems that are often indicators of a roof in decline that an inspector would identify. He noted specifically that often such roofs have fiberglass exposed and bubbling shingles which can include moisture problems and/or poor ventilation in the attic. I agreed with him that both were indicators of a bad roof. I then asked Anthony, if his 23-year-old roof inspector identified in his report such failures and he was silent. He was silent because they didn't exist. In the end Anthony protected his employee. I'm sure Anthony will dispute my report and if so I have written documentation in hand to corroborate my statement. I also have a few billboards that I can offer caution and direct potential customers to another roofing company. I'm very disappointed with the High Point Roofing and a young man that tried for a big commission on my dime. I did not identify the young man intentionally as I hope he learns a lesson from this experience Clark Struebing

The trees were ridiculously messy and not a good choice for a wind break. Ben and his crew came out and knocked the job out for us very quickly. The price was more than fair for the labor involved. And, because they did such a fantastic job, I've hired them to continue with our plans for tree removal throughout our acres. Ben was willing to speak with me about every concern and detail I wished to cover. That's how you know they're true professionals. They aren't afraid to hear a customer's voice. So, as I've already stated, they've removed 16 trees for us, next week we're scheduled for 10 more. After that, I'll be getting the estimate for even more. I'm confident I won't be disappointed. Update: The crew came back out, as scheduled, to remove 10 trees from beside our driveway. I swear it's like watching them do a perfectly choreographed dance when they get going. Each man knows where to be and when. I'm probably a weirdo for watching them, but it truly is just mesmerizing in action. I happen to appreciate talent and efficiency more than the next person, I suppose. Anyway, they will now be hired for a 3rd, not final, job in the upcoming months. I made the best decision by getting in touch with this company.
