Cannot say enough good things about this company. We had a flood and needed alot of work done and Alex, Andy and Peter have been stellar every step of the way from day one. Peter and Andy helped me with a water leak in my home. The job was a Cat 3 bio hazard leak which damaged my upstairs master bathroom and the living room below. They replaced drywall, marble tile floor and the entire downstairs flooring/baseboards, and painted. Since insurance was involved, they prepared a detailed estimate for the insurance company and prepared multiple adjustments... not an easy process. You don't know really know how much you'll miss something until it's gone. Today marks day 5 of no hot water for my household. Oh, how I truly miss hot water. Running water that can change temperature is one of the best inventions ever. Truly. Madly. Deeply. Late Sunday night, my water heater somehow started leaking into the wee hours of the morning without my knowledge. I woke up to my poor roomie sweeping up the flooded garage. Bless him. I made it a point to contact my home warranty immediately to resolve the matter as quickly as possible. The next morning, they quickly sent out a plumber for help. His conclusion was that the water heater cracked and leaked out and will need to be replaced. It sucked but hey, what can I do? After further assessment, the plumber noticed some water damage on the water heater platform and possibly into the bathroom adjacent to the wall. He recommended having the drywall re-done in the area to avoid future problems. Awesome. That only translated to no hot water for a few days. He recommended some people to come take a look. Those "other" people may need to be a whole 'nother review. But to make a long story short, they told me it would take about a week or so to get everything done - 72 hours to keep the dryers on to dry the area plus 3-5 days for demolition and repair... They put up the dryers, demolished, then left... Are you freakin' kidding me??? Did they really expect me to go without hot water for a week or so??? As much as I love going to the gym, the showers aren't really all that comfortable. Its mostly used on an as-needed basis. On Wednesday, I met with the field adjuster from my home owner's insurance company. He recommended Peter from Advanced Construction & Restoration. Peter was very confused as to why the drying process was 72 hours when the area was already dry. He assured me that he can send his guys in the morning to start the repair and be ready for the water heater to be installed on Friday. I gave him the ok! His guys came at 8:00 am sharp on Thursday morning and got right to work. When I say guys, I mean two. There were two of them. These guys don't mess around. They installed the insulation, re-did the drywall, fixed my bathroom wall (due to mistake from "other people"), repainted my whole garage and bathroom, and scrubbed and cleaned my garage floor. Everything was done by 8:30 pm and soooo ready for my new water heater. There was no such thing as 3-5 more days of no hot water! They were professional, courteous, and efficient. Total lifesavers! I will be taking a long hot shower tonight. read more
