I NEVER wrote a bad review in my life but I feel I have to write one in this case!!!
We had the worst experience with this company,the owner and his son.
We really wanted them to do the work in our basement so we waited 3 weeks to get them to come out( that was perfectly fine with us).
Then a guy ( I don't want to name him) came by looked at the floor,gave us an idea of what we should do and we got so excited because he introduced us to this new flooring option that will be safe for a basement play room area.
We sat down and he gave us a price for the whole space then said we can take the weekend to think about it( Since it wasn't that cheap). Ok. So we thought about it and wanted to go ahead with it. Calld him, told him we want to get the whole basement but want to do it in stages. We wanted to start with the bedroom and go from there, room by room. He said great and that we need to give him 10% of the bedroom price. We wrote a check, he came by and pick it up and we signed a contract.
2,3,4 weeks went by and I have not heard a thing! Called him he never got back to me! Ended up calling the office 4 times!!!!! Each time was told he will call me right back!! Didn't hear from him. Called again then he answered. He told me that it may take a few weeks and not to worry. I asked to get a copy of the warranty,he said he will email me right away.
1-2-3 days went by ...no email no call.
I called the office then was told that the order wasn't even made and there is no warranty on any purchase of just material...,??!!
I said- ok let's leave the warranty aside for a sec even thought I was told more then once that I DO have warranty but ok, I just wanted to know what happend to my order ,mind you more then a month went by!!!! She put me on hold and when she came back she said they made a mistake and gave me the wrong price and can't do it!!!!!!!! I think my head actually exploded at that point.i asked to speak to the owner. I was told he is busy.. only when I said - do you want me to come over there or do you want to let me talk to him. I got to talk to him. He said they made a mistake and can't sell me the floor for that price. I was beyond upset but kept cool. I asked why no one called me? Why no one told me right away that a mistake was made? Why the only reason I heard about this is because I called NOT you!! What is wrong with you people? Your plan is to just ignore customers??? I told him it's been almost 2 months !! I also explained that we had a budget to spend on the basement and because we got this price on the floor we spent the rest of the budget on a few thing for the basement and now we have no other options. We only have the amount we agreed on!! What am I suppose to do now I asked him?
He said- I don't know but I can't help you. It's too much money that I will lose!!!
And what about me mr. Advanced basement?? What am I supposed to do? I don't have money laying around to fix YOUR mistake!! I asked him to take responsibility. It is his employee that made the mistake and it's been 2months. I mean come on man! This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
So then he said - you know what, go to sleep don't worry and I will call you tomorrow.
Making me think we will find a solution ( maybe a middle ground). 2days later his SON came to my house went down to the basement looked for one sec and said -to be honest with you the flooring you wanted here won't work. It's not the right product for you. I mean do you think I was born yesterday ?!! I said that I still want it. He barely even looked at me and said - we can't give you this floor for that price. It's that simple for us. We can't do it.
So basically his dad just wanted to end the conversation with me so he fooled me in to thinking we found a middle ground. Then sent his son to give me the bad news..... should I cry or laugh here??!! How wrong is this right?!
The number of times these people "Fooled" us is actually crazy!
I have a small business and I will never ever treat someone that way. Never.
Then the best was that his son said if I let it go ( because I was very upset and still wanted the bedroom done since we had a signed contract ) he will give me $100.....
Hell yeah I took the $100 since they were not gonna do the job but really this is the worst!! So now what? We have no floors in the basement! My 3 year old and 9 months old can't play in their play room. And everything is at a stand still.
