I delayed this review thinking I could get over how I was made to feel, "like the bad guy", for having input in something I'm paying for. I was home for the entire job; the owner was not onsite to supervise as stated in the contract and the scope of the contract was not shown or reviewed with the work crew. I had to tell them there should be a separate roof vent installed for my bathroom fan and where it should go, they would have shingled over the location if I had not said anything. I'm a licensed residential builder myself and questioned some of the workmanship methods and suggested alternatives to consider that would make the job more weather tight and look finished but they were ignored except for one suggestion that was changed but only after showing Owens Corning recommended it and the city inspector recommended it. After that I was confronted by the owner with a very unprofessional conversation telling me I have been nothing but difficult the entire job and told me to just pay the crew person in full when job is finished, saying "he's done with me" as he walked away, leaving me feeling like the bad guy ! read more

This company makes the process very simple we picked out the colors they came on the day we Agreed on And started the job they were done by the end of the day everything was cleaned up, would definitely recommend this company if you need any roofing very professional and they do great work. read more

Avoid this business at all costs. Super nice guy, said all the right things, came recommended by his buddy, (who I now wouldn't recommend either). We live on the west coast and purchased a house in Grosse Pointe, planning on moving there when our daughter graduates High school. We love Detroit and if the schools were any good we'd have moved there but... it's the way it is. What we had never encountered was how many contractors were happy to flat out lie. Some of them do good work but they milk the cow and make sure they charge top dollar and come back multiple times. A soft con. This guy flat out lied. Told us he knew what the problem was, promised he'd do a perfect job, we believed him. 2 months after the roof was installed it started to leak and somehow he had the balls to claim it wasn't his fault. We hired an insurance guy to come out and dig deeper. What he found was the shoddiest work he'd ever seen. Short cuts and sloppiness all over. Of course he denies it but has never called or tried to fix the problem. He's a liar and a cheat. Do yourself a favor and avoid at all costs. read more

St Clair Roofing did our roof yesterday and can't be more pleased. Greg was in charge the workmen were efficient very good even the clean up used a magnetic wand to check lawn and driveway for any debris. We got three quotes from Home Depot, Hansons & St Clair Roofing. Not only was their quality Owens Corning product the best the price the best too. 100% 5 star read more
