I left messages at a few repair shops in the area and Jim the owner of Grays automotive was the only one to return my call Tuesday morning. He agreed to get me in so I could get back on the road. He found that it was both front wheel barrings that were bad. He was able to find another one in another town and talked Auto Zone to deliver in less than an hour. Jim's professionalism shined through and his price was a lot less than I thought it would be. Jim thank you for getting me back on the road!!

After some quick diagnostic support from the local Auto Zone we knew it was the alternator. After a few tries to find someone who would be able to fix our problem, we were lucky enough to get Emtech to help us. They were amazing and so helpful. The fact that we were dropping in out of the blue with no appointment, in crisis with no warning, and yet they not only agreed to help but got it done in a timely manner. As an added bonus they did it all for a reasonable cost allowing us to get back on the road to California. I cannot say enough positive things about Emtech!!

The Gorge is fortunate to have auto techs that are honest, matter of fact and fix your vehicle for a fair price. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. In fact I've had my car towed from Portland to this shop. Because I trust them. They tell you the issue & you choose whether or not to proceed. And yes, for a proper diagnostic, you have to leave your car. On that note; I read the one star reviews. I called & chatted with the owner about them. First off, this is an Auto Shop. Not Nordstrom's customer service department. Techs are techs. Direct. I think you need to consider that there are 2 sides to every story.
