I went online to research and saw right off you need a particular code reader (OBD2) for the ford truck. I purchased one and two days later read over 20 codes on my truck. I ended up spending over $4k because after diagnoses from a diesel shop near Portland found contaminated fuel, bad and two sensors. These guys don't know jack about diesels or they are scammers.

I left messages at a few repair shops in the area and Jim the owner of Grays automotive was the only one to return my call Tuesday morning. He agreed to get me in so I could get back on the road. He found that it was both front wheel barrings that were bad. He was able to find another one in another town and talked Auto Zone to deliver in less than an hour. Jim's professionalism shined through and his price was a lot less than I thought it would be. Jim thank you for getting me back on the road!!

The grinding was so bad I didn't want to step on the brake pedal, even considered just sticking my foot out the door to stop Flintstones style. Well, I called Adam & told him what was going on & he got me in the VERY NEXT DAY! Not only that, he gave me a ride back home so that I didn't have to wait around his shop. He took care of the rear brakes & he checked the front as well. Of course, the front brakes needed replaced too. It has been three weeks & the brakes, front & rear, are working great. I highly recommend this shop & appreciate Adam taking such good care of me.
