After some quick diagnostic support from the local Auto Zone we knew it was the alternator. After a few tries to find someone who would be able to fix our problem, we were lucky enough to get Emtech to help us. They were amazing and so helpful. The fact that we were dropping in out of the blue with no appointment, in crisis with no warning, and yet they not only agreed to help but got it done in a timely manner. As an added bonus they did it all for a reasonable cost allowing us to get back on the road to California. I cannot say enough positive things about Emtech!!

We stopped at another mechanic, they weren't there anymore but online wasn't updated, then another one who couldn't fit us in and finally Paco's. He immediately got to diagnosing the issue. Despite having several clients booked the following day he fit us in. The job took the better part of the day and he got us on the road again with extremely fair pricing. Thanks to Paco and his team we reloaded the mountain bikes, kayak and all the family junk and got back on the road to finish off our vacation. My only complaint is that we don't have him at home. Being a Sunday, I thought for sure I'd be spending the night somewhere. My wife was searching the Internet for me from home trying desperately to find someone, anyone open and willing to help. she found a shop whom I called, but only to find they were unable to help until Monday. They suggested another shop. The 2nd call fell through since he was out of town until 4 PM. He suggested to call Guzman's. Finally!! He was more than happy to assist me. Literally, I made it to within 100 feet of the shop and my truck shut down completely. I had to wait through one service call, but Jose got me up and running within a couple of hours. An unfortunate event turned around by an individual with a great work ethic, great personality and an over the top desire to help people. More businesses need a person like this!

I was able to get the spare on, but apparently the gentleman that assisted me at the site I came from put it on wrong!!!!! The older gentleman at Ortigoza educated me & even said I would've been better off putting it on myself lol. Him, and I presume his sons, were able to get the spare off, located a piece of metal in my tire, removed it, patched it up, and put my original tire back on!! The price was very reasonable, as well.
