I was recommended this place from a tire shop I went to. I called and asked how much they charge for a wheel alignment and they said $95 which is perfectly fine. I proceeded to ask of the company is certified and the man I was speaking to said what do you mean is it certified we are working on cars. I told him he didn't have to be sarcastic and clearly I was asking that question for a reason because my warranty on my car only wants me to go to certified shops and not all ships are certified. He proceeds to tell me all you have to do is save your receipt. Based on his smart mouth alone and nasty attitude I will NOT be going to this business. That's not a good way to start off. read more

I reached out to Benny and Juan on a recommendation of a friend. I have a truck that my daughter will be driving soon and I needed to get some things fixed on it. I had previously replaced the battery myself, but I think it was a dud or I was duped because it wasn't staying charged. I told Benny about the battery, windshield wipers, the interior light and a couple other things that needed fixing. I knew it needed a tune up and oil change as well. They replaced the battery, did a tune up and oil change, replaced the brakes, and did a full check on the vehicle. They were very nice and communicated efficiently. It runs like a dream now and my daughter is so excited! We will come back to get a couple more things done to it and then it should be good to go! So nice to have a trustworthy mechanic! read more

Very fast Great communication Honest Super great experience. I have never left a yelp review before, but I had to for this. I am doing traveling sales and obviously it's hard to find good mechanics you can trust outside of your local guy. Juan was very transparent with me when I was worried about my break pads. Told me they still had plenty of life and he wouldn't want to sell me some now. Found out it was a rock in my break shim that was causing the noise that was giving concern. This place was recommended to me when my daughter needed a radiator and thermostat. I called here and asked for a quote. He said bring the car to be diagnosed again even though it already was and said it's a free diagnostic and he wanted to make sure it was correct. The check engine light was for 2 items and I had the print out from another place. After having the car for 5 days to give a quote and now the check engine light is on for 5 different things, the free diagnostic ended up being $80 when we picked up the car. I wanted to leave a review because I noticed it hadn't been reviewed in a bit. I have had my card serviced a couple times here already and had an alright experience. When a friend of mine needed some work done, I recommended he bring his car here. My friend is does not know much about cars or how much the going rate for different jobs are. Benny, completely took advantage of that and overcharged him by far. I will not bring another car here nor recommend anyone else to come here. FYI, Benny charges $85 per hour in "labor costs" so if you have a simple job, i would take the care elsewhere. read more

I have been coming to Advanced Auto Tech (to Benny, who was referred to me). I have an older Prius and come for the regular oil changes until one day I received a lot of error messages from the car letting me know that the battery needs to be replaced. I got scared and called Advanced Auto Tech and Benny explained to me that the items I saw on my dash most likely meant that I needed a new battery but he said to come in so he could confirm it. Sure enough, it was a new battery needed. I called everywhere to get quotes and Benny gave me the best price so I had him replace my battery. It's been over a year since I got my new battery and the car has no problems. I continue to buy tires and get my cars serviced here and service is unbeatable! read more

I was told that there was going to be no diagnostic fee & that if I left my car their over night I would be able to get it the next day. But instead, they wouldn't let me pick up my car unless I paid $85 for the diagnosis & on top of that, they had kept my car for 5 days. I had my alternator switched out on my Altima told me it was a new one or refurbished, but told me it was good to go and a few months later same issues car dying out while driving, 500$ down the drain, good maybe for oil changes, easy maintenance, but everything else I wouldn't risk it. Makes you NOT CONFIDENT when you leave, also took my jetta there, trans was acting weird, his mechanics said tranny is slipping, trying to make me spend $2,500 maybe, but went to another changed the tranny oil out and it was good. So i rate it like 2/10 and i tried giving him the benefit of the doubt, hence why i tried the jetta, but luckily did not. read more

This place is the best! I used to always take my car to Toyota dealership for repairs. Once Toyota quoted me for something that sounded wrong so I took my car here for a second opinion. So I was at the gas station just filling up and when I got back in my car the ignition wouldn't turn. Now I don't mean the engine wouldn't turn over....no the key simply wouldn't twist in the ignition column. Now I jiggled and wiggled the steering wheel and then it locked too. Great now I am just sitting in front of pump #5 looking like a fool that doesn't know how to turn the key. So I did what any reasonably prudent driver would do. I called AAA. So the AAA guy comes and he cant do jack. He was very nice but he couldn't help me out. So then I proceed to try to find a mechanic that is open at 6 o'clock on a Saturday night of a holiday weekend. Meanwhile the car is still just sitting there blocking pump #5. I finally get a hold of the guy at Advanced Auto Tech and he says he will wait until the AAA guy can tow us there. GREAT! So we get there and the guy is waiting in the parking lot. The AAA guy lowers the car and the Advanced Auto Tech guy gets in. Not 5 seconds later the key has been turned and the car is on. What a lifesaver! Best of all he didn't charge me a thing. I would not hesitate to take my car back here for any problem. Wonderful honest and genuine service is hard to come by so check this place out if your car is not cooperating. read more

Advance autotech replaced my header for much less than other mechanics were quoting me. I went to 3 mechanics before I was recommended by my girlfriend to come here. The job was done in a day. Don't be fooled. Advanced Auto Tech is not a foreign car repair shop. They may do fine with GM and Ford products but they could not even get my Audi TTS oil change right. Benny guaranteed that he could reset my onboard computer with the oil change. As it turns out, he does to even have the correct machines to reset high end European car computers. I had to have my oil change done over at the Audi dealer in order to have the computer reset properly. A waste of $110.00 at Advanced Auto. Audi's and other European cars require very specific tools to properly work on them. I would have been satisfied to simply have my money refunded, but Benny's recommendation was to wait until the next oil change and then bring it to an Audi dealer for a proper reset. Certificates on walls are all GM certifications. Ask if any of the mechanics have Audi, Mercedes, or BMW certification and they will not be able to show you any certificates. I plan to warn others on other sites and file a small claims for my $110.00. They scammed the wrong person. read more

Awful auto shop. I had 4 tires mounted and it took more than a day to get done. They stoped working on my car to bring another car in! Then, they scratched all 4 rims during the mounting and tried to tell me its not their problem! After fighting with them they finally agreed to fix the rims but wanted to charge me again to remount the tires! Benny ignored my calls and the rude receptionist hung up on me multiple times! This place overcharged me for 4 tires and they scratched my wheels as well. The owner Benny and his staff was rude and ignored my calls. They are horrible at their services and they delay the job and keep the customers waiting. I witness a couple of customers walk out because they were being rude and they ignored them. They also overcharge for the jobs they do. I will never recommend this mechanic shop to anyone and I will make sure that I recommend others to a different mechanic shop and I will also make sure that they will never receive 1 penny not only from me, but everyone else that I know who needs mechanic work or tires.
