SEE BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTOS In 2024 I contacted Dr Anthony Bittar to repair a deviated septum so I could breath properly internally through my nose. A very simple procedure. He made a comment in our meeting "do you want me to remove the bump on your nose's bridge at the same time. Just to make it flat" That is all that was ever mentioned. "I will just slightly shave down that bump at the same time". He made it sound like nothing. I came out of surgery and he had completely changed the size and shape of my nose. He assured me it was just swelling and that would go down. After having 3 different respected surgeons inspect what he did. They all were shocked at his work and what he did without prior approval. 1) He excessively flattened the dorsum (bridge of the nose), resulting in an unnatural and concave profile. 2) He added cartilage to the tip of my nose--an unrequested change he later admitted to--which created a permanent large, bulbous appearance. 3) He significantly altered the overall size and structure of my nose All these things were decisions he made without my consent. DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN Read his reviews by sorting them by 1 star and believe them. He subsequently offered to 1) refund me half of my money 2) do the operation again and 3) install semi permanent filler in my nose. Total admission of guilt. All I refused. How could I ever trust him again. Once you are on the operating table he does what he likes. None of the above was ever agreed to. The whole time he gas lights with all his communication. I now have to go through the expense and pain of having surgery again to fix his horrible horrible work. I currently have complaints submitted to the Texas Medical Board, other malpractice entities and his affiliated hospital credentialing boards.

I was recently referred to Dr. Bea Smith (Audiologist) with the office of Dr. Daniel J. Leeman to…read moreevaluate and assess what I thought were hearing problems. My experiences with Dr. Bea have been outstanding. Her thorough testing and explanations related to hearing aid assistance overall were great, as she also explained the hearing aid products that would best fit my hearing needs as a result of some hearing loss. In my view, her years of experience working with children with hearing challenges are assets in her work with adults, as she has good "bed-side manners" as an audiologist, carefully and thoroughly "teaching" and explaining the entire process. Once my aids were received and I had to transition in my use of them, she welcomed my follow-up appointments and patiently listened to my questions/concerns, made adjustments to my aids, helped me better understand how to handle and care for them, and urged me to not hesitate coming back or calling her if I had additional questions or concerns. If you are in need of professional audiology services and/or hearing aids and want an outstanding professional, I highly recommend Dr. Bea (Smith). Joseph P.

YIKES! DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR! or TALK ABOUT LEARNING THE HARD WAY! ZERO STARS…read more Dr. Leeman performed surgery on me to relieve chronic sinusitis. The first two, septoplasty and turbinate reduction, were done in February at St. David's Medical Center in Austin. The third surgery, balloon sinuplasty, said by him and his PA, Matthew Poole, to be "the easiest of the three surgeries," was to be done about a month later at his surgery center on Manor Road . When I awoke from the balloon sinuplasty procedure, Dr. Leeman notified me that he had nicked the wall between the brain and the sinus passage, but that he repaired it. He said that it's fairly common, which Matthew later repeated to me. Dr. Leeman's professional demeanor with his staff, specifically yelling down the hall in an agitated voice at them from the examination room, plus the fact that he was dismissive of my concerns, and gave me questionable advice about flying within one day of the "nick" caused me to seek a second opinion. The patch he placed on the 3 mm hole he put in the wall that protects my brain, failed, and I ended up at Seton ER to have surgery to repair it, and a three-night stay. Further review of the scans of my sinuses after he performed what he told me was "balloon sinuplasty," show that he DIDN'T PERFORM A BALLOON SINUPLASTY BUT ACTUALLY PERFORMED AN ETHMOIDECTOMY, something we NEVER DISCUSSED. HE ALSO REMOVED BONE TISSUE AND THE CILIA WHICH LINE THE SINUS PASSAGES THAT HELP CLEAR THEM OF MUCUS AND DEBRIS, NEITHER OF WHICH CAN BE REPLACED. HE DID THAT FOR NO APPARENT REASON, AND CERTAINLY DID NOT DISCUSS IT WITH ME BEFOREHAND. Two different ENTs have verified to me that a "nick" like the one he created in my sinus cavity is NOT COMMON, in fact happens in less than 1% of the surgeries. CSF leaks (Cerebrospinal Fluid Leaks) can lead to serious, potentially life-threatening complications (meningitis is one) if left untreated. I should have been suspicious right at the start when I arrived at what they called their "satellite office" on 1626 to find the office dark and the door locked. I knocked on the door, and PA Matthew Poole opened it. The office had no furniture and they obviously were not expecting me. Matt looked like he had just come in from a hunting trip, camo jacket, crocs, messy, scraggly hair and beard. He was able to recover quickly and convinced me that he knew what he was talking about. I was desperate to resolve a 6-month bout of chronic sinusitis, and had chosen this doctor specifically because of the location being closer to home. As it turned out, while I was a patient, they were never prepared to see me there, and I ended up having to drive from Buda into Austin for every appointment. Thank god there are plenty of professional ENTs practicing in Austin. The difference in how they practice is night and day. I have been able to get some answers, although sadly I learned too late that I'll never regain the bone and other tissue he removed without my permission! Why is this man still practicing?

She did a head CT that revealed a deviated septum, and referred me to Dr. Wassmuth. I was quite impressed by the kindness, courtesy, and professionalism when I first visited the office of Capitol Otolaryngology. Dr. Wassmuth examined my nose and suggested balloon sinuplasty with turbinate reduction. After much trepidation, I scheduled the surgery, which is done in-office. The process of fixing my nose didn't take all that long. The anesthesiologist, Dr. Jack Carsner, was excellent, as were all those I met in the operating room. The procedure apparently went off without a hitch, and my husband drove me home where I rested the remainder of the day. Within a day or so I was feeling much better. I am still considered to be recovering after a week, but have already experienced noticeable improvements in my breathing. My husband says my snoring was virtually gone within a day after the procedure. I've had a variety of seemingly-minor health concerns, that when put together, have led to other problems. Snoring, dry mouth, dental issues, and poor sleep quality turned out to have (at least in part) had a common root cause in breathing problems. Hopefully all will improve or resolve before very long. If you have any kind of breathing problems, including snoring and symptoms like dry mouth when you awaken, you may benefit from a visit to Dr. Wassmuth. I highly recommend his medical practice.

PCM and ER doctors told me to get in, I had to peeled to get to see my doctor. Saying it was urgent. I was so pleased when they got me in and help to relieve the pain..... a week later I woke with a muffled ear (much like after a flight). After 24 hrs of it not going away, I called. Was told no appointment for my emergency until November to go to the ER. I went to ER. ER doctor notes tell me to follow up with my PCM within a week (check schedule) AND to follow up with my ENT. I remember my son has a follow up for his allergies, I ask if I can piggyback in with him. She says no. Then says since your schedule with PCM you can keep your appointment for Aug 2026 and dont need the appointment in December. In which I said why, she say because your seeing your PCM. I said it says AND....which she tells me is just a suggestion. I said NO the ER doctor was very much saying that I have to see my ENT. (who knows of the infection and has already started a treatment that hasnt healed my ear infection) Michelle tells me it not a requirement until my PCM says so. I said then I will be told January, can we make the appointment for December. No. Are you denying me to see my doctor. YES..... for an infection in my ear that is still active in my ear and I have been told to see my ENT. I was in tears and shock at this point. She told me I can go to another ENT. I told her I was heartbroken, I mean Dr Gilliam has treat our family of 6. The kids love her as a doctor, that helps them. To need my doctor, have other doctors tell me I need to get back into the office and be dismissed as if i am disposable. My optimism has turned into a living nightmare. Lost beyond belief that a change for what was suppose to be better, went from a personal touch and caring of a patients to a system of numbers, disregar, and dismiss. Completely hurt and at a loss.
